The 4 of us arrived on time. It was very busy at 6.30pm. Our friends arrived earlier and were waiting with their drinks. After we were seated with them we had to wait fairly long to order and get our drinks. In fact my Husband's drink arrived much later after mine even though we ordered at the same time. Food was exceptional as always and our head waiter was wonderful all the staff that took orders were informative and helpful with queries and the quality of the food was outstanding. Phenomenal taste and value for money. It was just so busy that drinks were delayed and trying to get the attention of a staff member for chasing that up was rather difficult. Which is why I scored that lower. But overall the evening was not spoiled by that in fact, it was a long night. We arrived at 6.30pm and the 4 of us left at 9.20pm. Which was lovely as we didn't feel rushed and were allowed to relax, enjoy the food and lively atmosphere with several birthdays being celebrated around us. Our hearts sunk in our stomachs, we travelled to Wolverhampton three weeks ago to Cosmo World Buffet and it was cheaper for the 4 of us to eat there, than it was for 2 adults and one child tonight !!!! I could understand if it was an award winning Indian restaurant but it wasn't, the Indian Brasserie sign outside in chrome was dirty and your first instincts before entering a restaurant is a clean entrance sign and door so alarm bells started to ring before we even entered, in the hour we were there only 2 customers came in which was another alarm bell. The decoration was confusing a mixture of white paint and looked like a border of Kitchen worktop as a one foot border through out the restaurant, we have the same kitchen worktops as the border in our kitchen.
