They participate in a program called Too Good to Go which makes sure there is not waste at the end of the night and so you can purchase leftovers from the day for pickup for $10 or less. I travel a lot for my company and visit each of the 14 locations we have at least a couple times per year. Everywhere I go I try and make a point to seek out a good doughnut place and treat the staff to some doughnuts during my visit.
During my most recent visit to our Aurora facility I found Glazed and Confused Donuts and boy am I glad I did! I had Googled the location and drove there early (6am) to grab a dozen for the office - I wasn't sure exactly where to go and when I arrived at the Stanley Marketplace I didn't see any sign for G&C on the outside so I didn't know if I was at the right place. There was a young woman unloading trays of doughnuts from a van at the curb and when I asked where G&C was she said "Follow me!"
She lead me inside where I found the G&C storefront and observed the staff setting up for the day. What a treat! The variety and interesting flavors of the individual doughnuts was impressive! I opted for a dozen mixed but pointed out a couple really interesting ones that I had to try. The counter girl was super friendly and helpful and soon had me ready to go.
Got back to the office and presented the box of tasty treats to the staff - it
was met with great enthusiasm! I had a tough time remembering exactly what each flavor and style was but I can assure you that no doughnut was left at the end of coffee break and everyone was very pleased. many of them (local Denver/Aurora folks) had never heard of Glazed and Confused so I told them where to find it in the Stanley Marketplace - they said they'd likely be taking their families there to check it out.

Easily one of the best donuts I've ever had! I tried the Passionfruit Lemonade donut and it was incredible. So much delicious passionfruit flavor, and not greasy at all. I also had the the root beer float doughnut (root beer dough with their classic cream filling) which was delicious and not too sweet. Coffee was ok but that's not the point of this place! The decor is industrial. The staff was great and friendly. Bathroom was clean with baby changing tables in both the men and women's bathroom. They also have high chairs for kids and a small play table for 2 kids at a time. Definitely a must go when you're visiting Denver!

Great tasting donuts in different varieties. I had the cinutella and breakfast of champz which were quite tasty. Coffee was ok..Good for a quick breakfast run or sit down. Prices are cheaper here than, say, some of the other bigger donut shops and chains in/around Denver. Friendly and helpful staff at point of sale. Would rate this a middle of the road donut shop. We got a 1/2 dozen of different classics and the flavor was lackluster, more so you could taste the sugar vs the flavors pop. We had the cherry fritter which was a bit dry. The kolache also was dry and had way too much bread vs sausage ratio in our option. Salty donuts? Whaaaat? I was not sure what to expect from a place called The Salty Donut but I’m glad I went against my initial reaction and tried it out.
I had their traditional glazed donut and man it was delicious. The breading (not sure if that’s the correct terminology) has a much nicer and chewier consistency than regular donuts. It turns out it is brioche. Very tasty. The donut was also not too sweet and was overall very good. I would be interested to check out their other donuts as well but at a minimum of $5/donut when factoring tax and tip, it does make me a bit hesitant.
Last thing I would like to mention is that the store is absolutely beautiful so it would be a nice place to avoid any extreme temperatures and/or have a donut and a nice talk with company.
I look forward to checking this place out again when I’m in the Tennyson area!

As a native Texan it’s difficult for me to find kolaches here. This place advertised Texas style kolaches and I was interested. These are not at all similar to Texas kolaches.
A few problems:
- Kolache dough is sweet and doughy, this place used a saltier more bready crispy dough. Hard to explain but it was more like a baguette than a roll.
- Texas kolaches typically use cheddar cheese, this one used asiago cheese (never seen that before).

On our way down Larimer street to another restaurant e decided to stop here instead. It was the best decision we made on food in a while! The gnocchi was incredible and made fresh with homemade pesto. The muscles had a delicious spice to them that is often absent from other establishments and not overpowering at all. Heard really great things about this place from a good friend of mine so we made reservations ahead of time for dinner. Got there around 5:30 on a Thursday and practically had the place to ourselves. Please keep in mind that this appears to be a mom and pop business and the food (including donuts) appears to be made to order. Majority of the restaurants have specific seats to themselves, so make sure to not mix them up if you can. Owner wanted to talk for 20 min. about BBQ sauce, not asking if i like a drink or if im hungry or how my day was goin. Once i did get an order in. I informed tyem i do not use bbq sauce ,much. 10 min plus waiting on ribs and chopped chicken, only to be served up with no utensils or a drink. Dunked in a sauce that i never have had before. This place is found inside of “Hops and Pie”. They had some helpful signs to show the way(see my pictures).
They do sourdough and regular cake donuts and the sourdough donuts are really interesting. You get the flavor of whatever kind of donut it is plus this unique sour from the sourdough that makes it complex and delicious.
We got a Lemon Poppyseed, and Vanilla Porter coffee-cake sourdoughs, and a salted Carmel chocolate cake doughnut, and some more donuts from a couple other places, ate them all with friends. and the Lemon Poppyseed was all our favorite. The coffee-cake was also very good. The salted Carmel chocolate was way too salty, and we ended up pitching it. Overall, the first two were some all-star donuts, and can’t wait to get more.

I loved this donut shop for years. I drove up this morning to see the banner that read "Under new management, try our NEW donuts". Uh oh, I thought. After walking in I noticed the revamped shop with Dazbog coffee and new light fixtures so I hoped they didn't really change the donuts.
After picking out my half dozen, I jumped in the car and grabbed out the first one. The first bite was so disappointing. If you've had a grocery store donut, you know exactly what I mean. Horrible, waste of calories. My husband wouldn't eat them either.
Dear New Management,
Please go back to making the old recipe! Keep the fancy coffee and lighting but why fix what isn't broken? You were already better than all the other trendy donut shops and now you are no better than a donut from the nearby 7-11.

I have been to Walton donuts twice 2 different locations and got their around 8 both times. I had no problem getting donuts ( all kinds to pick from). These donuts are simply the best donuts around. I don't eat donuts very often but when I do I want the best and these are the just that. Only ok donuts, FILTHY store.
Went in for the first time today because we were having a donut craving and it was on our way to where we were going. Two girls staffing the store, one had to hop off the counter when we walked in. They were friendly when we ordered but were just chatting the rest of the time and the store was completely filthy. None of the counter tops or tables were cleaned off, there were multiple spills on and around the coffee station and the trash, the floor was disgustingly dirty. Donuts and coffee were ok, but certainly not worth the trip or the dirty atmosphere.

I am true donut lover. When it comes to donut shops, I've had them all. From the Donut house, City Donuts, Lamars Donuts, Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts, Mr. Doughnut, Winchells, ect. These are all great shops, but I my go to spot is Walton donuts. I order a dozen doughnuts and finish them all by the end of the day. They do close early sometimes when they sell out. No complaints there, just come early, get them while they're fresh. Also, I believe ever since they changed management the shop and doughnuts have become better. The doughnuts are great and if you dislike them then you're probably the kind of person who likes voodoo doughnuts lol.
