We have had lunch in the restaurant and a take away meal. For lunch we had pea and ham soup which was delicious (and a huge portion). We shared a meat platter with an extra of onion rings. The portions were very large and very tasty indeed. We planned to have cake but were too full! A treat for another day. For the take away meal we has 1 Chicken burger (actually chicken breast), one Brisket burger (real brisket slices so burger is perhaps a misnomer) with some fries and some sweet potato fries. All superb. The quality of the food is really good. Take away food is ordered via a good eat App and we encountered problems with that and how it linked to the restaurant but we overcame this by direct messaging the Smoked Thistle.
