Tried this place again after trying a different location 4 years ago with horrible results. Happy to say this experience was completely different. The Snickerdoodle cookie was soft and super yummy. Tried the toffee chocolate shortbread cookies and those were super sandy and had great flavor. A bit pricey but if you want an indulgent treat every once in a while it's worth it. They guy working was nice and offered a sample of one of the shortbread cookies.

We came driven from San Francisco to San Luis Obispo, and a few miles before Cayucos we saw this billboard on the road about the Brown Butter Cookie Company; and right beside our parking spot in SLO there it was, soooooo I said to my self: I have to try those!

I ordered a custom cake for my sister's birthday. The cake was gorgeous! Our expectations in the artistry department were met, even exceeded. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed when it came to flavor. The cake was very dense and tasted blah. It didn't even taste vanilla; just bland. The raspberry filling was delicious, the best part of the cake flavor-wise, but there was too little of it to balance the sweetness of the buttercream.

After I had my 1st cupcake from SeaBreeze I felt like SLO had won the lottery. These cupcakes aren’t just tasty, they are buy a dozen and take them to work tasty. I literally buy cupcakes and give them away to watch people take their first bite. 🤣🤣 My favorites are red velvet, brown butter sugar, chocolate chip cookie dough, & cookies and cream. Happy that they’ll get more foot traffic, but sad I’ll have to get by much sooner before they sell out. We came here to try their famous clam chowder and we were not disappointed.
It was creamy, loaded with seafood and very tasty. We also tried fish tacos and salad and it was okay. Definitely should stick to their chowder. Staff here was friendly and efficient even when it was busy. The only thing is the limited seating area. When it’s busy it can be hard to find a seat.

This is a review about customer service with LINNEA in the gourmet shop. My sister and her husband were having their anniversary dinner in the dining room that night. Checked out the gift shops, attended a wedding reception, and danced to live music before the night was over. This is obviously a popular venue and was a bit crowded. On entry I noticed a full bakery and then as we were seated all the tables and chairs were solid copper. On the table were drinking chalices of different colors. Ordered a traditional breakfast, coffee, and a slice of pink champagne cake. The breakfast was great but the cake was totally out of control. The slice was huge and loud and of course pink. This one slice tasted amazing but size was enough for 3 people, this is very serious cake done right. This restaurant is unique and a must experience if in the area. Walking into the bakery, there is the ambience of "old school"" baking as evident with the large revolving ovens and other baking equipment. It was especially nice to see an iconic bread slicer. The icing on top is too sweet and the bread is not sweet (balance is very off). The orange cranberry.... just dont. I took one small bite and wanted to throw up. It's taste is absolutely horrible. I got it for my mom as she loves the flavor: she said it was weird and a waste of money. Which brings me to my last point: 2 loafs cost $21 🤯
I did get a free sample of banana nut bread. It was okay. Needed a bit more banana and nut to it. I did appreciate it was moist and not too sweet.
I would find another bread / bakery place

The bread at House of Bread is excellent. I'm happy to be able to enjoy good bread without having to make it myself. I believe that House of Bread is the only place in the city where one can find whole wheat bread that's fresh and made with only a few ingredients, not to mention having good texture and being tasty! I like being able to purchase the loaf unsliced, too.
