Having all of this in mind, including the taste of real Thai food, we decided to give Zato a try. The vegetables did not taste fresh at all and the cut was the same as the packaged grocery store frozen lettuce. (Green bell pepper did look hand chopped) The pork on the garlic pork and red curry was very chewy. Garlic pork barely tasted like garlic for Thai standards and the sauce was very watery. The red curry to coconut milk ratio was too high: way too much coconut milk. The rice was not light and fluffy. It was dense and looked reheated. The Thai tea had too much milk, therefore making it taste too sweet. I was not going to write a review because I only like writing positive highlights on great restaurants.
