A quick google search later and here I am, at Grillin’ Wings & Things, a place never I would have never known about. Upon entering we were greeted by a super nice gentleman who was also our server. He was very upbeat and made us feel comfortable even though neither me nor my girlfriend had ever been in before. We ordered a dozen of their chicken wings with Hot Sauce, a root beer float, and free Hickory House Potato Chips that you can get if you check in on Facebook. What a steal. Shortly thereafter, a bubbling and overflowing root beer float was adorned on our table. Beautiful and delicious. After that our wings showed up. The wings came and our jaws dropped. These are legit grilled chicken wings that come lightly sauced that come with an additional cup of sauce that you can add to your liking. I have never had chicken wings grilled like this and they were easily the most flavorful pieces of poultry we have ever had. The hot sauce was unlike any sauce I’ve ever had. I was excited to try more of what this restaurant had to offer so I asked the server for some of the BBQ wild sauce and it was fantastic as well. That sauce would be perfect on their pork wings for sure. We devoured our meals and got fried brownie bites for dessert. These were fantastic as well. Overall, the vibe of this restaurant is very nice and the service is fantastic. Not to mention how great the food was, I will definitely be coming back just to try all the sauces.
