The hotel grounds have beautiful landscaping and a million and one charming decorative touches that make the property magical. The views are incredible from the pool as well as the cottage #20. The hotel has a curtain slightly draped between each outside door for the deluxe rooms so you dont see your nieghbor also if they are also sitting there. Resort fee also includes parking and a nice little variety of breakfast options (egg, yogurt, fresh fruit and dont forget the memosas or cafe ole). Breakfast starts at 7am but fresh coffee at 6am. No coffee maker in the room but i hate those anyway. There is a free open air trolley that will pick you up and take you downtown. Believe me, if you want to relax, nothing worse then trying to find parking downtown and feeding a meter. You need to scan the qr code on the trolley sign and download the app for updates on the scedule. If its hot, try to time it so your not waiting long. I seriously think i got a sunburn because the bench doesnt have any shade. Also really closeby is victoria beach. The hotel provides towels beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach. There is a pirates tower at the beach but its not very big and you cant go into it. The owner of the house loved pirates and made the tower for stairs down to the beach. Ok my favorite part of the stay though was when i asked for anything, they looked at me with a big smile and said would you like this or that with it or bring it here or there? Staff really is amazing!!
