ワシントンDCの寿司屋といえば、ここだったらしいです。最近は、他の店に遅れをとっているという人もいますが。寿司以外にも日本メニューが楽しめますし、質も高いので、日本食が恋しくなった方にはお勧めだと思います。昔、阪神のピッチャーをしていた猪俣選手が引退後に寿司を握っていたらしいです。

数年ぶり。開店17:30直後のWeekdayのweb予約ゲット。3人でテーブル。5人以上だと奥の大テーブル。但し2つしかないので注意。以前から食材は日本のモノで本物。単品、会食コース共美味しいが少し濃い目。日本酒は豊富でも日本のビールは少ない。店員は日本人ではないので日本語での詳しい料理の受け答えは無理。それでも良く教育されているので米国ワシントンDCだと割り切る事。店の駐車場は無く裏手近くに私設駐車場が地下にあって$15だけど入口が分かりにくい。DCは駐車場探しが大変なので事前調査必須。最寄り地下鉄駅はDupont Circle。それなりの値段。ファミリーレストランではありません。

Was in town for a show and wanted a snack before the show. Wandered in on a weds night and it was pretty full. They were able to squeeze us in for a short seating which was perfect. Had the Toro, tofu and pork belly skewers, and nori(Wife had salmon and i had the plum) and everything was amazing. Will definitely be back and suggest you stop in if your in town. Its walking distance to 9:30 club, dont miss this tiny gem.
