Extra rice was priced at $5.50 each. And the small slice of coconut cake was $9.99. The waitress automatically charged 20% gratuity which was NOT disclosed at all. So for two people splitting one dish with two extra sides of rice and and two drinks = $89.41. Way over priced. I love the chef as the beef was cooked to perfection. So kudos to the chef who put heart and soul into the food. But the service was very poor and food was overpriced. I will NOT be coming back here. One of our meals came out with a soup and it took 40 minutes for that soup to come out…. We were starving. The food came out about 10-15 minutes after the soup arrived. So 30 minutes of waiting just for a table and 50 minute wait for food. I ordered Shrimp Tempura since i’m pregnant and that’s about all of the sushi I can enjoy and it was chewy and tasted quite old. To wait that long and receive low quality tasting food is disappointing. I’m not sure if management has changed or what but I won’t be going back. Our check was over $100 and I wasn’t that happy.
