On pulling up the website to see the menu it was simple, broken down into small groups of easy to process menu groups. Problem is if you don't know what your ordering well you're out of luck. The one thing they could have capitalized on showing their food, well they dropped the ball. The ability to show the dishes was completely dropped. I ordered the dumplings in chili sauce which came with fish eggs -which was not listed on the menu. I felt were tasty but slightly over steamed. Also they tasted just like the frozen ones I get just up the street from the supermarket. My entree the super sayen which was listed to have heat meah. That said I was very pleased with the delicate flavors and gentle warmth of the bowl. Not filling for a dinner entree. If you want something to fill up on I would recommend the common bento meals. My date ordered the teriyaki chicken bento with California roll and miso soup. She elected to get the fried rice. The fried rice was very authentic and well made Japanese style. Teriyaki sauce I found as American sweet. What I thought was interesting is the order while cooking with a roll did not include wasabi. Well let's be real the fake wasabi is normally served but that was not included either. I found the restaurant a great stop. I need to come back and try they sushi Taco which is still messing with my mind. As a note there is also a bar which I did not utilize but am curious to try on my next visit.
