She got my order quickly, I had the Bissell Breakfast, which I highly, highly recommend, and I had coffee before I knew it which never got less than half full before she was topping me off. Breakfast came out within 8 - 10 minutes of ordering, if that, and everything was cooked perfectly. Eggs just like I requested, home fries nice and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, sausage perfectly cooked, biscuit that was like Grandma used to make, and two sizable pancakes also perfectly cooked. Coffee just right as well and nice and hot!!! I I'll be back to Metro often, that I can promise, as the service was second-to-none, everyone I interacted with wished me a nice day, and all of the staff really seem to enjoy working there which is a sign, in my opinion, of a well run restaurant. When it somes to service and general feeling of the place is where “afternoon” falls behind. We were waiting to be seated/talked to for a while in the small entrance while people were trying to come in and out, our waitress was okay but she definitely entered our personal spaces every time she was there. Place is pricey, my husband’s late was $7.50, which is very steep for caramel, shot of espresso, and cup of milk. They also have a big fly problem, inside and outside which i thought was because of the nearby farms, however when i looked at the map, that was not the case. Bathrooms were decently clean. To sum it up food- delicious and fantastic, service, ambiance and vibe can use some work. P.S My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. We got the strawberry filled things for an appetizer and they were okay, they were way too hot when they came out and I burned my tongue. For our meals I got the potato pancake. It was a pretty good portion size but the pancakes And eggs weren’t as good as I would’ve hoped. My boyfriend got the French toast which we both thought was pretty good.
