Recently we had a Celebration of Life gathering for my sister-in-law . We reserved the rear dining
area for about 60 guests. The party planner, Ashlee, was excellent in suggesting food options .

We hosted a surprise retirement party in the party room right up front. There were no events in that room before ours that day so we were able to come in early and decorate. AJ checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed. The room is perfect for a gathering of up to about 30 people and it’s laid out very well for mingling. We had pizza, wings, and a veggie platter - all very good and kept warm. Our server, April, was amazingly efficient. I’m not even sure how she kept track of everyone’s drinks but she did. After running her tail off serving, she even packed up the leftovers for us to take. To top it all off, the food & drink pricing was fair and there was no extra charge to use the room. I’ll tell you what….this is the only place we’ll go to host small-to-medium parties from now on!

Great service and cute place. Got food from the lunch menu which was nice since you didn't have to commit to a full sized meal of one type and could choose from various options. I got the Chicken panini, chicken soup that had a curry flavor, and the Thai shrimp bowl. The curry soup was extremely salty so I had to switch it out for a clam chowder soup (which was amazing). The panini was just as enjoyable but when I started to dig into the Thai shrimp bowl, I didn't care much for it. Definitely would come back and try other foods or to come for a drink.

Took our little guy for lunch today after a long doctors appointment. Didn't disappoint. Got the Irish nachos as an appetizer.....SO GOOD. My picky eater devoured them. For main course my husband had a cup of potato leek soup with the cod sandwich. I enjoyed the reuben with dressing on the side. My son had the kids cheeseburger with mustard and extra pickles. He inhaled it before I could snap a picture. The atmosphere is perfect with the beer barrels and bottles. Our server was so sweet and quick for it being lunch hour. To all my Golfing and Sailing friends out there this is a hidden gem. In fact, anyone heading through Erie, PA should get off the 90 and make the short 18 minute trip in for a bite.
First to thank is Kyle the Bar Manager. He took the time to provide us with the full history of this stunning building. As a mixologist, he has created a wide selection of unique Craft Cocktails for every occasion. We were then introduced to a Jameson Orange and a Magners. We immediately went to the Liquor store for a bottle of that Jameson.
Thanks to Tom the Chef. Our food came out fresh and hot. He also took the time to personally check on our satisfaction. Try getting that in a chain restaurant!!

My husband and I were travelling from Toronto to Akron and stopped here for dinner. It was about 20 minutes out of our way, but the reviews were good and the menu intriguing. WOW. We can't say enough about the whole experience. From the friendly and attentive staff - Ali our server, Tom the chef who made a point to come see if we were enjoying his food, and Kyle the bar manager who told us the history of the beautiful building and authentic pub bar, banquettes and decor that was all imported from Ireland by the original owner - to the amazing food and excellent craft cocktails (must haves include the Reuben rolls, Shepard's pie, the Rachel and the Smithfield Market), well we were frankly blown away. Good service is a rare thing these days and this gem in downtown Erie is worth the drive.

The atmosphere at the Cove is fantastic with large windows overlooking the bay. We ordered a variety of appetizers including a huge soft pretzels, chicken nachos, and brisket burnt ends. The burnt ends were served with a pickle slaw and tasted delicious. Our entrees included a pulled pork sandwich, Cobb salad, and lobster mac n cheese. We stopped here on a Sunday in September for lunch. We sat inside but they had a nice patio. There weren’t very many people here - I was surprised about that because it was such a nice day.
We were seated immediately - I think we just picked a table. Our server was with us quickly and took our orders. We had the walleye sandwich and perch sandwich. The perch was lightly breaded. The food was good. It reminded me of being at a beachside bar somewhat. The side salad was bigger than I was expecting but I was glad to see it - sometimes side salads are so tiny this was a nice size.

Prices were comparable to other places we go. Parking was a shared lot but there were plenty of spaces.

We had an excellent meal by any and all standards. Solid 5 stars for food and service. The atmosphere decor is modern and upscale. But as many other reviewers noted, the noise level is high. I measured 100 Db, same as a motorcycle. But it was clear the Management had taken steps to deadening noise. Carpets, sound baffles on the ceiling, fabric wall covering. But it was still so loud that conversation was difficult and I couldn't make out what the server said.

The food came in short order and at first glance the portion seemed small. But the dishes were deep and the portion was very good. My jambalaya was excellent. Flavorful with lots of chicken, sausage and shrimp. The scallops got rave reviews.
We didn't see much of the servers. No refills, bread or dinner rolls offered.
One detail that I really liked was the heavy, substantial flatware. No hollow pressed junk. This was substantial which added gravitas to the meal.
We really enjoyed the meal. And given the tab, that is a good thing. I would jump at the opportunity to go back to The Cork as long as I can convince someone else to pickup the tab.

This tavern’s best feature is the food. I’ve had a numerous meals here and all have been good, including meals you wouldn’t expect at like beef bolognese. The alleyway seating is private and gives you a nice seating area outdoors that’s not too loud.

If you’re a wing lover, RUN to The Park Tavern in Erie, PA. These are hands-down the best wings on the planet — crispy, saucy, flavorful perfection. I ordered a lamb gyro (with everything on it) and sides of small onion rings and small greek fries.
The gyro was pretty good, especially the tzatziki sauce that comes in it, and it came with plain fries on the side.
The onion rings were alright (could've been crispier) and the greek fries as well as the fries that came as a side to my gyro were soft and needed salt. Literally the worst food. The server was nice and good. However they ran out of fries and decided they would just give us chips instead without asking. The buffalo wrap we got was literally empty besides tomatoes and piece of lettuce. My salad was small and had very little chicken in it. They were out of several menu items. Lavery is quality run brewpub, with some really tasty beers on tap that span the gap between many different styles and flavors. On my most recent trip with my wife, I got a six beer flight to sample, and was impressed by all the chosen offerings, especially the coconut-laden Divine Intervention and the uniquely refreshing lime and cucumber and sea salt sour.
