The only real drawback is I think our expectation didn’t necessarily align with the product. I think we expected it to be more consistently jet boat adventure - whereas it was probably 80% boating and Chris chatting and playing music and 20%adventure jet boating actually getting wet. Best bloom time are during early July. Harvest season toward end of July to early August. We came during harvest season to experience the lavender aroma in the air. Staff here are very nice and accommodating. The site boutique is a must see (attached pictures of few products they have) lots of great products to pumper your day. Parking is free. Entrance fee depends on which season. We only paid $5 for 2 adult and one child because it was almost end of season and they always say less bloom left as they are harvesting each day. It has oodles of built-in charm and 2 gorgeous rooms. The lighting through the huge windows in Drape Hall for our daytime ceremony took my breath away. Previous years we were able to chat with the food & wine representatives and really get involved with the different wineries & restaurants. This year we didn’t even get to sample all the food because of long lineups Nola’s over 30 minutes & the others weren’t much different. Many thanks to the delicious hotdogs or we would’ve left hungry. Most of us were unable to sample pizza, icecream, Mac n cheese & to be honest don’t know what others closed before we were able to get to them. The best was waiting 30 minutes in line & get to counter to order & be told sorry we are out. Even the wine samples were 2 ounces instead of 4. Previous years they would let us sample different wines & then we walked away with 4 ounces. We were unable to celebrate as a group because of the lineups. The only plus was the entertainment.
