Kolkata Style Chicken Chap served with Khasta Paratha - Chicken pieces in yogurt-based Bengali curry with a unique flavor. Roghandaaz totally nailed it! The Khasta Parathas were indeed Khasta and huge. 2. Chicken Biryani - Flavorful and aromatic biryani seasoned with birista fried onions. A must-try for all the biryani lovers in town. 3. Veg Mughlai Paratha with Cheese - This delicious paratha had a generous amount of stuffing in it. 4. Dal Fry & Jeera Rice - A simple yet appetizing Dal. Like most restaurant-style Dals, this one was not at all oily. 5. Gulab Jamun - Those lovely Kala Jamuns were awesome and mouthwatering. 6. Firni - The perfect dessert with lots of dry fruits and kewda essence to give that distinctive flavor. One thing I loved about Roghandaaz is the quantity. While most restaurants these days are reducing the portion sizes, Roghandaaz serves the perfect quantity of dishes.

Little spicy for my liking but very tasty. Perfect amount of masala and large chicken chunks made my day. 👉 Firni - My all time favorite and always preferred dessert over everything else. Classy looking dish, loved it when it's served cold (my personal choice, some might like it warm) garnished with kishmish and sliced almonds. Perfect end of the meal. This is a must try. Overall, food is absolutely delicious and few dishes like Paneer Mughlai paratha and Firni are really amazing. Mughlai food is always served with extra butter\ghee\oil so it's not at all diet friendly. Whenever you are having a cheat day, you can try this for sure.

Hence, this dish was a winner for me. This traditional handi contains fresh pieces of mutton tossed in masala and cooked in a clay pot. The paratha served along with it was considerably heavy. The biriyani box in beige looks satisfying and calm, however the experience dips a bit once the box is opened. A lot of food crammed up is bit confusing,the plastic laminates leaves you with a bit of suspicion if the laminate is of the same plastic quality as the box. Now comes the biriyani, lightly but appropriately spiced with well cooked and succulent boneless chicken pieces is satiating. The rice grains are not the longest possible but fits in well.
