I love that they are still going strong despite the lockdown. Their decor is more colourful fun and trendy and my favourite place is the rooftop garden. The food arrived and straight away you could see this was quality my kashmiri king prawn dish had exotic fruits within it huge well cooked king prawns and the tastiest sauce absolutely delicious full of flavour and expertly cooked! my friends vindaloo also looked excellant a lovely thick sauce and again big juicy king prawns to hot for me but he said it was fabulous the rice was perfect and the chappatis were soft and floury everything was just perfect and we thouroughly enjoyed everything that was served so glad that we made the trip to this amazing curry house, again i cannot compliment the staff more they were so wonderful polite and kind and it was a pleasure to meet them all and we are definately going back! so if your in westhill this is the place to go for a really fabulous curry meal thankyou folks and thanks for reading peace barry allan.

The brie was basically melted cheese sauce, the chicken liver was only 2 pieces and under cooked with some soggy bread that was also inedible. The curry i ordered was the wrong one and the lamb was so far beyond over cooked that not even a dog would have been able to chew it and to top it all off it was over 2 hours to get it delivered when I stay 12 minutes away and kept getting fobbed off by management that it would be delivered when it wasn't being. Honestly after years of using this place I was extremely disappointed on the quality of the food especially undercooked chicken which is dangerous and the poor attitude of the management knowing full well I was a loyal customer. So if you’re hungry, this is the place to be. Having not visited Shahbaaz before we decided to opt for a few different dishes that were highlighted to us by our server on the night. Funky layout and great music adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious, I had one of the Carribbean curries which come with 'rice and peas', flat bread and plantain. The lamb pot curry I had was slow cooked and very tender along with a great tasting sauce. We had the jerk chicken wings which were amazing! The burrito filled up jerk chicken, chickpeas and rice was also the best burrito I've tasted. (There was different names for these dishes which I can't remember). Decor was cool and colourful and it wasn't too busy which was good as its not the biggest of spaces. Waiter was working alone but done a good job handling multiple tables. The only issue was that we didn't get a side dish of cheese loaded fries until the very end of the meal as the kitchen forgot but we got these on the house so I do not mind that at all. We also wanted nachos which were not available but this wasn't a big issue. Overall its a good place to eat in and I may come back again some day with friends in the future.
