롱비치의 27 최고의 미술관

음..... 조각 정원도 갖춘 미술관이지만, 그 가운데에 제 취향의 작품들은 많지 않았습니다. 그럼에도 참 많은 예술가들이 자신의 생각과 철학을 통해 메시지를 담아 자신만의 방법으로 작품을 만들어냄에 경의를 표합니다.

리뉴얼 공사 중이라 비록 제대로 감상하지 못해서 너무 아쉬웠지만ㅎㅎㅎ 직원분께서 엄청 친절하셨고 다음에 기회가 된다면 전시보러 가보고 싶음 :)

다른 전시가 준비중이라 전시관이 너무 작아서 아쉬웠다. 지금 전시는 물주제가 많아서 좋았다.

Upon arriving we were told that about half of the museum was closed as they were setting up for two new exhibits. Since this was our first time here we did not know what to expect. To walk the two exhibits that were on display took maybe 10 to 15 minutes as we really engaged with the artwork. We then went to go see the sculpture garden outside. Upon walking outside if you went to the left there is a covered seating area with a vending machine (I believe). To the right is a long narrow pathway between buildings that leads to the garden. The garden has very little shade so if it is hot like it was the day we visited you will be looking for that shade. The area was nice and the exhibits were interesting. We stopped by the gift shop before leaving and I purchased a piece of Mexican straw art by an artist named Miguel Hernandez. Overall we spent maybe 45 to 50 minutes here and had a great time. We would go back if they have new exhibits.
