Always a delight to walk through. We loved the Brighton history in photos and the prehistoric Sussex sections. They are doing a great job keeping large sections of the museum open while repairing the roof. We had a buggy and access through the two floors was easy, they have a lift and clean baby changing facilities inside the museum itself.

A good place to go with potential to be better. What I loved about the Brighton museum is it's variety of historical and local lore which presented the opportunity to cover the very basics (such as the Egyptian exhibit). It was really great to see not only a diverse history of Brighton & Hove, but also that members of staff had the opportunity to express their own creative passions here which gave it's own merit of exploration. Although not to my personal taste, the current mod exhibition served it's purpose well. The passion and protest exhibit was also a great addition and I will be using the insights I have gained to form part of my practice development in the equality and diversity module of my formal apprenticeship. What was disappointing, was the amount of fashion displays. The mod exhibition followed by a Ben Sherman takeover had overtaken a significant amount of the museum. I think that if they had been spread out separately or combined into the backspace that the Mod exhibition was in it would have been enough. I do hope with the rotation of exhibits on offer come January we will see less of similarity and a more diverse range of exhibitions on offer.

Located near the Royal Pavilion, in a building with beautiful, special architecture. Not very big, you need about an hour to visit it. It has several sections, but not very large. The most interesting seemed to me to be the one dedicated to ancient Egypt (although small), and the one with archaeological discoveries from the Brighton area.
During my visit, they also exhibited a self-portrait of Rembrandt, borrowed from the National Gallery in London.

There was some time before we had to catch our train back from Brighton so this was a good way to pass the time. We didn't need more than 20-30mn without rushing.
It's a good collection of all sorts of toys and models, but it's not the sort of place where there's a lot to read. There's very little to do or play with.
I would say this is quite interesting and fun to see the amount of different toys, trains, models, dolls, Legos all gathered in this one place. But it's the sort of place I would go to once, but not come back to.

This place is a paradise for anyone who collects hotwheels, legos, train models etc. they have a few working train models which is really cool. They even have a few 10p drop arcade stuff which are pretty cool to do. You can spend about 45 - 60 minutes in there just checking the different displays. You can buy tickets at the counter but I did feel the price didn’t entirely justify for what was in there. However, the child in me loved the displays and the time spent there. The person in the counter was really nice and did talk us through what was inside and did hand in an activity quest sheet for my kid to do while in there. Overall great experience.

If you’re interested in toys, models, legos etc it’s an amazing short visit. We stopped by because my husband adores these stuff, and spent more time than usual but you can easily look around in 20mins. Small but lovely. Staff was lovely and friendly, too.

What a lovely hidden gem in the heart of Brighton. Very close to the train station, so if you have a spare 30 to 60 minutes, I recommend you visit. Adult £8, child £5 and under 4 free, family (2 adults and children) £17 so it will not break the back. The initial shop opens up to the museum packed with loads of nostalgia. 12000 toys and items to see from a wonderful working train sets to puppets, meccano, dinky, hornby, and many more, covering many eras. The passion put into preserving these gems of toys and models from the past should be supported as this is run by a charity and volunteers. Otherwise, they will be lost. Highly recommended.

Very good and deceptively large. It’s a relatively small collection but I could have easily spent all day in there because of how many specimens there are neatly packed together. The taxidermy and skeletons are all impressive and well put-together and everything felt very tidy and well up to date. There are plenty of spots to sit, including a cozy Victorian study. Definitely a must, especially if you’re interested in birds and taxidermy.

The museum was lively when my friend and I arrived! The animal displays were also varied to show the habitats of the birds, and some included prey. Not all of the animal names were visible in the glass cases portion, and there weren't additional placards providing information about each species, which I would've liked, but I may have also missed a QR code or something that led to an online guide.
The back portion was no less fun, and the informational placards there had some humor! There was one about the rhinoceros skull with artificial horns that poked fun at their value-- since they weren't real, they couldn't be used in Chinese medicine or we'd be sick or sold at cocaine-level prices.
Anyway, it's a quaint smaller museum in Brighton :) I liked it for an afternoon activity to spend a few hours in.

This was brilliant for our kids (3 & 5) - lots of simple things for them to get involved with. Would recommend to anyone to spend and hour or two here. Staff/volunteers made us feel very welcome. We could actually sit down and hang out here, which is so lovely

A lovely free museum. When I arrived it was my first visit and they had several weekends events on (Zine making and a Victorian lantern film show). This was a nice surprise and kept me entertained for a while! Child friendly and interactive exhibits. Free entry. Helpful staff. A newly opened cafe on the ground floor with an amazing array of cakes and savouries and great decor. Not the biggest museum but plenty to see with changing exhibits.

I went to the Hove Museum of Creativity and Art Gallery where I thoroughly enjoyed all of the art works and exhibitions on display. Afterwards I visited the ‘Rust Cafe’ which had wonderful cakes; drinks; food and pastries. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to family members and friends.

We had a lovely visit today and with it being voluntary donations it was something to do that we'd may not have thought of. I was with my 17 and 8 year old and they both enjoyed different aspects of the museum. It's not going to take long to get round but it's definitely worth a visit if you can. I went to view the Peter Blake exhibition, which was incredible and excellently presented. All the limited prints were available to buy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had a chat with Daisy, one of the staff members, who signed me up for their newsletter and since visiting 4 days ago I have received one which alerts me to future upcoming exhibitions. Really cool vibe in this gallery not just the art but the staff were really welcoming and had such interesting knowledge of the artists which added another element to the experience. The prices are actually reasonable and I would live to go back after assessing my wall space at home. Great location and nice to walk around while in brighton.

For me this is the best art gallery in Brighton. They have quite a wide range of artists with constantly changing exhibitions. Open for just over a year the gallery has had a series of themed exhibitions by both promising and established artists and the choice of work on show has always been a mix of everything from the 'gentle' to the eclectic and 'challenging'. We visited Fabrica for the Forked Forest Path by Olafur Eliason Exhibition. The exhibition was spooky and very impressive. Walking through the exhibition have the feeling of walking through a real forest. It was one of my favourite places during our Brighton weekend. Whats great, and really important to know about celebrations at Fabrica is;
- The bar and the dancefloor are in the same room.
- It's got surprisingly good acoustics for a room with such a high ceiling.

Went to an exhibit of Brighton university students work at ONCA and contributed to a collage. It was very interesting to meet the enthusiastic artists and learn about their creative practise. The venue is lovely but not disabled accessible as the toilet is upstairs and part of the gallery is downstairs.

The ONCA meeting room was an excellent venue for our team's annual planning day. A lovely, bright space for us to brainstorm ideas and a perfect location for public transport and also for popping out for lunch (so many fab cafes and restaurants nearby to chose from!) I purchased the tickets online the day before, and although I was worried since I didn’t receive them by email, I was able to get my tickets at the office just by giving my name.(£26 for those over 120 cm, and £21 for those under 120 cm. You can only buy tickets online up to a day before, and on-site tickets are more expensive.) It was great that we could ride without waiting in line! Sometimes I have to wait a bit if I need to match the number of people, but other than that, I could get on almost right away.👍🏻
There were lots of fun rides, but for kids under 120cm, an adult has to accompany them on many of them.(For some rides, an accompanying adult also needs a ticket.) The indoor kids’ café was amazing! the children absolutely loved it, and they even host birthday parties there. I’d recommend bringing your own drinks or snacks. You can actually see the sea through the gaps in the floor, so be careful not to drop your phone or belongings!
I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but we had such a great time and were really satisfied. After leaving the amusement park, we went to a Korean restaurant nearby called Korpan (about a £1 bus ride away), and the food was so delicious. Definitely check it out!

무섭거나 재밌는 놀이기구는 줄을 많이 서야 해요. 마감시간보다 일찍 닫아서 당황스럽긴 했는데 재밌게 놀았어요...!
피어 자체는 그렇게까지 인상깊지는 않은데, 휴양지 느낌이 좋습니다. 근처에 맛있는 피쉬앤칩스 가게가 많다고 합니다.

Attended a conference at Brighton Dome and was impressed by the venue itself, clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The space is thoughtfully laid out and ideal for events, with a professional atmosphere and helpful staff. However, the lunch provided was a letdown. It was serviceable, but lacked flavour and didn’t quite match the quality of the surroundings. Overall, a great venue with room for improvement on the catering front.

Visited for a concert on 28th October (2025). Fabulous building, full of character and a great atmosphere. Only issue we had was with the sound - I have seen Suzanne Vega before (last year at another venue) and so could compare. Not sure if it was their set up or the Dome but the guitar back up sounded quite jarring and a little distorted e.g. overly loud in places. Nonetheless, Suzanne Vega and her support Act were superb and we enjoyed the venue and the show enormously. N.B we used the train, which is not too far from the venue as parking is currently very difficult due to a lot of road works - we advise you check if planning to drive in :)

I have to say, the service has improved significantly. Coffee is absolutely amazing and my recent favourite is Bounty hunter Superfood Smoothie. It's addictive. Absolutely amazing. I also love their environment improvement, especially office part. And of course, the cakes!!!! The lemon cake will be probably my forever best. It's original recipe from decades back. And it's so worth it. Love it.

Super impressed with the vegan offerings!! So much choice and everything we had was superb including pancakes and bagels. Amazing staff and brilliant atmosphere too. Lovely little shop inside. There are even veggie dog treats to purchase! Plenty of high chairs and baby changing facilities, though no toddler cutlery.

Cute, dog friendly cafe in a quieter area of the marina. There's a green space outside with a fountain which is a nice hangout spot when the weather is nice. The cafe itself has a shop section- they sell beautiful pieces for homes and some plants too! The plants are in need of water though...
The service is a bit slow. I waited 10 mins for a coffee. It might have just been a busier day than expected but the coffee was really yummy. Would I visit again? Definitely.

This was absolutely unbelievable. The actors were incredible, so funny and believable. The guards were hilarious and the warden was quite scary. The cocktails were genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had, delicious cherry one and a passionfruit one, the kitchen staff were lovely, the drinks were very fast. What a brilliant experience! The actors were in character from start to finish and played their parts to perfection
You take your own bottles of alcohol with you and they use their own mixers and make such yummy cocktails! Added fruit too for a special touch.
I didn't know what to expect until I got there and i have to say it was so much better than I'd imaged .

Was a bit unsure what to expect, but from the officer meeting it us at the door, we instantly became part of the experience.
Actors / staff were absolutely fantastic, cocktails amazing, and the whole experience was awesome from start to finish. We left with aching jaws from laughing so much. Even learnt about a very rare animal the zebra giraffe.

Really great evening thanks to all the actors. We had a free upgrade due to some cancellations so we got to sit in a cell instead. Even the jumpsuits were good quality! The drinks were really yummy...for a group of two I recommend a 35cl bottle of liquor.

Shame we were in a hurry because we liked this place very much. Great atmosphere, calm and quiet with no screaming kids. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the bathroom was stunning. I enjoyed an incredible matcha from the cafe - there’s a lovely cafe and bar if you didn’t know already. It was on the expensive side, but so delicious. The cereal milk matcha latte special was my choice and my word was it sweet and brought back so many memories haha. They have a decent amount of fun options, kinda like the art!

Great instructions and tips throughout the session, everything was prepared and provided, and the club also has changing rooms and showers.
The whole experience was amazing especially catering for the 5 of us, and giving my 8-year-old daughter help so she could stand up on her first lesson, we enjoyed ourselves that much we wanted back a couple of days later for another lesson

Due to the weather conditions we had to make some last minute adjustments on the day and it was handled professionally, with great communication. Liberation saved the day ! I can’t express enough gratitude for the amazing staff who pulled off a miracle and saved my daughter’s hen day last weekend. After the last minute cancellation of an activity for the hen day do , I got in contact with the gallery late on the Friday afternoon on the off chance they may be able to help. Not holding out a huge amount of hope that they would be able to accommodate us in under 16 hours notice for a Paint & Prosecco session the next day - I was amazed when after a few hours later , it was all arranged . Strolled into Liberation art gallery last week Sunday. I was met with a smile from Caroline! We chatted for a while about all sorts of wonders and adventures. Caroline told me about the various workshops and classes hosted at the gallery. Painting , pottery and drawing. I had a walk around and looked at some of the pieces that had been done in the workshops. I even stumbled upon 2 lovely ladies doing a drawing class upstairs. The gallery is so welcoming and feels like such a safe space for expression and creativity! We were visiting last Saturday from Hertfordshire and saw a lovely mouse holding a heart in the window, it was our wedding anniversary and my husband offered to buy it for me, for whatever reason I didn’t go in.
When I got home I made contact with the gallery and with friendly prompt service I was able to make the purchase and it was sent to me the very next day!

rubbish experience. My partner and I had come from the gym so were in work out clothes, the manager Joe served us and was unbelievably rude and miserable. The other day I popped in to purchase an item I have had my eye on for a while and Adam who served me on menswear was very efficient and helpful.
He was busy processing some replen in between customers when he clocked me approaching the till point, he stopped what he was doing straight away and made sure I was served quickly.
I’m a retail store manager myself and I’m very passionate about customer service especially in a world where most staff are lack lustre, lack passion or service whatsoever and most retailers rely on self service. I am very critical as you can probably tell.

I never really end up buying anything in the store; it's a little bit small and not a huge selection. I generally buy online and have it delivered. I was very impressed by Lorraine's customer service. I went to pick up an order and only three items out of ten had arrived. Lorraine was not only apologetic but was also straight on the phone to find out where my delivery was. Highly recommend!! Went on a Brighton bike tour with my boyfriend, and as you can expect Brighton is a very gay friendly place and Carlo is a very fun and friendly guy. I used to live in Brighton so am very familiar with the city but I still learnt some new and interesting things about it’s history and its culture! The bikes were solid and perfectly comfortable and there are a lot of cycle lanes in Brighton so it’s very fun (and safe) cycling around, even if you aren’t confident about cycling in a city. Carlo also provides helmets if you would want one.
Overall it was great and a really fun experience, I think for anyone whether you’re new to Brighton or very familiar already!

Carlo was our cycling tour guide and our experience wouldn’t be so memorable if not for him. He’s the most warm, welcoming and fun guide we have come across. Our entire 2.5hrs was filled with fun and laughter.
Highly recommend this tour to anybody who wishes to learn about the city as well as have an adventure while doing so.

A wonderful place representing me as an emerging artist! :) I've actually been painting since childhood but taking it more seriously in last two years after approaching this gallery and successfully selling some of my abstract sea/landscapes. Its a fantastic space with some really awesome artists, they also sell gorgeous ceramics and embroidery too! If in Brighton, definitely the gallery to visit! :)

Art5 is an amazing art gallery! I am a Lewes/Brighton artist and came across it around two years ago. Each time I have set foot into the gallery, I have loved and been extremely impressed with the works of art. The imagery is varied and contains vibrancy. They also offer some appealing local themes as well as a wide range of mediums. All of the crew at Art5 are very warm, lovely and friendly. I have always wanted to place my paintings into the gallery and I am pleased to say my art is now being represented by Art5, and feel really honoured and excited to be part of their team. The owners Giselle and Omar are professional. Melissa who manages Art5 is always upbeat and bubbly, and adds exquisite customer service. Discovered this gallery by accident and it's fantastic. Excellent customer service from the young lady in here and lively conversation about Brighton and artists work. Due to her enthusiasm and wonderful knowledge I bought an original piece and yet that was not what I went it for but it is worth it. Amazing service and brilliant art work to look at. It's only small but I suspect the art work changes constantly. So impressed with this find and my chosen art. Will definitely go in again and highly recommend this amazing little gallery. Art 5 is a fantastic gallery in the heart of Brighton. Vibrant & colourful artwork is displayed from floor to ceiling, canvases, sea glass art and ceramics fill the gallery with colour and texture, there really is something for everyone! The staff are very friendly & helpful as well as being extremely knowledgeable, making finding the right piece of art for you an enjoyable and rewarding experience! Highly recommended.
