Cheekwood Gardens was special and everything you want from a southern mansion estate. I was particularly surprised by the number of water features. Simply fantastic. This is most definitely a place to take children if you want them exposed to nature at its best. Try not to miss the train garden. My granddaughter was mesmerized by them. If you are traveling anywhere near Nashville, and you love formal gardens, this is a gem of a place to visit.
