멜버른의 49 최고의 미술관

개인적으로는 쿠사마 야요이 전시를 이미 많이 봐온 터라, 8,000km 이상 날아간 곳에서 또 특별전으로 쿠사마 야요이 전시를 하고 있었던 점은 아쉬웠습니다. 물론 현지인들에게는 귀한 기회였겠지만요. 그래도 전체적으로 소장 작품 수가 정말 많아 1층(G Floor)를 제외한 상위 층의 무료 전시만 보기에도 충분하다고 생각하고요. 전시장 들어갈 때 백팩은 출입이 안되어 1층에 맡기셔야 합니다. 로얄보타닉가든 옆에 붙어 있으니 세트로 보기 좋습니다. 다만, 많이 걷고 서 있어야 할 테니 단단히 각오하셔야 할 듯 ㅎㅎ

유럽 중세부터 현대까지 다양한 작품들의 전시를 무료로 관람할 수 있어 좋았습니다. 동양적인 다수의 작품들도 만날 수 있어 반가웠습니다.

생각보다 볼 것둘이 많습니다. 입장료는 무료이며 특별전들만 돈을 받습니다. 아동은 5세부터 15세까지로 구분되네요.

여러 테마가 있고 넓어 시간 보내기 좋아요. 특별 전시회 보러 갔는데 당일은 매진이더라구요. 미리 예매 후 방문 추천 드립니다.

대기 시간은 없으나 사람이 너무너무너무 많았습니다. 유명한 그림들이 많았으나 사람이 공간 대비 사람이 많아서 감상은 못하고 음~~ 이런 그림이 있구나 하면서 넘어가야했습니다! 그래도 멜번 오셨으면 한번쯤 방문 추천드립니다!
