I waited 30minutes for an iced mocha at 11am. At first there was only one staff member visible who had to do coffee and hot food orders, so I can understand there being a bit of a wait time. However then a second staff member came to help (I think she was actually lifeguard judging by what she was wearing by) who didn’t really help at all. It was obvious she didn’t know how to work a coffee machine, and if she did, not very well. A further two staff members arrived and started to help get the coffees out. I am a student and use to work in hospitality so I am sympathetic and know how demanding it can be when you have lots of orders to do, but a 30min wait with 4 staff members helping is just insane. The quality of the facility has gone downhill rapidly the last 6 months. The pool water quality is consistently poor and cloudy and full of hair, plasters etc. The new refurbished side of the gym that opened 5 weeks ago has been partially closed since it opened (excluding maybe 3 days?) with no explanation whatsoever, and some days fully closed. When it is open and you’re training by yourself (especially as a female) you’re made to feel uncomfortable by other members who think it’s okay to train in jeans and no shirt. Or just sit behind you on the floor and pretend to train but just watch you intensely. Car parking on the weekend is a joke. So when you do find a park and then come in to see the area you wanted to use closed - again with no explanation- it is incredibly frustrating and makes you want to walk straight out.
