Delicious breakfast in the heart of Margaret River town! Taking a recommendation from locals, we visited Drift Cafe for an early Sunday morning breakfast. The menu had a fabulous range, with all 4 of us ordering different dishes, that were all delicious. A special mention for housemade hollandaise! Highly recommend for breakfast when in Margeret River.

We went there for brunch. It was a popular place. We were not able to get a table indoors so instead we were seated on the veranda outdoors. (This proved a bit too cold at first but then we figured out how to drop the full length “zip-able” wind screens which made all the difference.) We had the Mushroom Medley with Halloumi, the Potato Hash, and Flat White Coffees with Oat Milk. Both vegetarian dishes were excellent, so tasty. Excellent service. Nice ambiance inside if you can get seated inside. Average or medium pricing.

What a wonderful dining experience we had at the White Elephant Cafe. For Me and my family it was our third visit to the busy beach cafe. We were absolutely delighted by every aspect of our visit.
As always from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their hospitality was top-notch, and their attentiveness truly made our evening special.
Now, let’s talk about the food. Wowwwwww ! Each dish was a culinary delight, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It was evident that a lot of care goes into the preparation.
And to top it all off, the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. We left with full bellies and happy hearts. We should not forget the magnificent views when having our foods. Awesomely amazing.

The white elephant cafe is in an absolutely gorgeous spot. The cafe has such a relaxing vibe and is situated on a hillside overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning. On the day we went we didn’t order a whole lot, but we tried their fish and chips which were crispy and golden. My only complaint is that it was fairly quiet and it took at least 40 minutes for it to come out. Maybe they were short staffed, I’m not sure. They also have clean toilets in there too! Definitely would love to give this place a try again to form a better opinion.

A very unique place by the sea. Where you can really enjoy the constant sea breeze blowing at your face. Had to wait 5 minutes before getting a seat as there was a big group reservation for lunch. Came at about 1140am and just before the lunch Menu kick in. So able to taste the best of both breakfast and lunch menu. Ordered the two eggs with bread, Rueben sandwich from the cabinet and the soup of the day. All the items were very flavorful and delicious especially true eggs were very well done.

A few really great vegan options here. There is a vegan baguette and a vegan pumpkin bagel; both are pre-made with various vegetables in them and hummus as the spread. There is also a vegan vanilla and passionfruit cupcake. I had the bagel and cupcake - both were delicious. Great spot for a quick stopover. Didn’t get coffee but I imagine it would’ve been good too. We enjoyed our cafe and cake experience at the Sidekick Cafe situated next to the Supermarket. Outdoor seating is also available and easy access for those with walkers or wheelchairs. Coffee was smooth and tasty, not bitter. Be sure to ask for a mug if you want a larger cup. The cakes are delicious and homemade. Getting my sumptuous carrot cake heated was not a problem for the courteous staff. A casual comfortable cafe but I'm not sure about the modern appearance of no ceiling which exposes all the plumbing and beams. A delightful experience regardless. Easy to find in the main street of Margaret River.

We almost didn’t go here because they ‘only’ had a 4 star review, but so glad we did! We travelled Australia for the past 7 months, and have been disappointed in long blacks many many times. But these guys have some of the best coffee we’ve come across in the country. We also had two delicious bagels, worked for a fair few hours from their hight table. We took the advice on the free southwest travel guide and headed to sea garden for a late arvo pre drink to watch the sunset - then ordered the takeaway fish and chips to go sit on surfers point grass to finish watching the sunset set. The staff were friendly and I tried the megsy ginger beer on tap and the partner had a nice prosecco. Amazing late afternoon view. The food was sensational - the fish was fresh pink snapper lightly battered and it was nice and flakey but not a thick batter. I was surprised and it rates in my top 3 fish and chips in WA so you won’t be disappointed with that choice.

Went there to watch the sunset and drink couple drinks with some friends. It’s a very nice place for a drink and some food (the pizza was 10/10) and the service was quick and nice. We have been served by Juan, who made the whole evening even nicer with his great attitude and attention to detail.

We love farmers markets and the one at Margaret River is no exception. Everything looked good but because there was a limit to what we could consume and because we had no idea which stalls to choose from, we simply followed the crowd and joined the longest queues. We were not disappointed with our choices. Everything we are on the spot tasted fresh and the ones that we bought home to eat later in the day were also excellent.

Regrettably I didn't get the name of the Hairy staffer that helped us. He was hantastic - drawing out a route with options on the way, recommending a couple of stops and taking the time to talk us through the route on the map.
The location of the shop is excellent too - right on the doorstep of many trail options.
Also - the Giant E+ bike was awesome!

Kingston Bakery in Margaret River is seriously one of the best spots around. Everything I've tried there has been amazing, and it's always so good.
I was honestly shocked when I found out they had pho, and it was incredible. The broth was packed with so much flavor, definitely one of the best bowls I've ever had. You just have to try it.
The people there are what really make it, though. The owner and all the staff are so friendly and just genuinely good people. They clearly love what they do, and it makes you feel so welcome every time. I can't recommend this place enough!

Wow what can we say about this place, but firstly I want to say a MASSIVE thankyou to Justine, Daniela and Helena, they genuinely are the nicest hotel staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, Justine went above and beyond for us all our entire stay she deserves a pay rise, she deserves EVERYTHING, incredible!
From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a beautiful stay. The location is just out of Margret river town centre, however, if you did want to walk it’s roughly 25/30 minutes, there is taxi companies available provided by the hotel, our taxi lady was incredible (she gave us a dozen eggs). The grounds this accomodation is on are so beautiful, I enjoyed my morning coffee down by the little water feature with roo’s on the grounds, there’s an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court available also.
The breakfast we got included was beautiful, so many choices of hot and cold food, local fresh jam and organic fruit. unlimited coffee and tea 24/7 with a selection of every milk you can think of. the staff genuinely can not do enough for you.
The rooms are lovely and spacious with a pristine en suite. Plenty of fresh towels and beautiful products to use during our stay
There’s a little lounge area with an open fire where we enjoyed scones and tea provided by the hotel with a game of scrabble
On our last day here we agreed to do an hour presentation with the Accor team and in return we got a $200 voucher (which we used for a 5 course meal) at Rustico at Hay Shed Hill.
We will definitely be returning here, the whole experience was 10/10 I have no faults, the staff the bed the food the drinks the location, this was such a relaxing stay and I wish i could move in here, never enjoyed a hotel so much felt like a very relaxing home and I look forward to visiting again 😂 on exit Justine gave us 2 scones with jam and cream for our travels, literally love her so much and this accommodation, please visit you will have the best time

We had a lovely stay at Basildean Manor. The manor and grounds are gorgeous and ooze old world charm. It's hard to believe that you are walking distance from the main street of Margaret River. When we were leaving the staff were seated at the bar including the "manager" and kitchen and restaurant were closed. All in all a very poor experience. Although I would not normally include other's comments several couples we spoke too did not have good things to say about their experiences at the restaurant, all said they wouldn't go back.

I live in Canberra since 2022 and I travelled often around this beautiful and interesting country. First of all I want to mention that the waiters are very gentle and the atmosphere is nice, really nothing against the people working there and the location. But the food... We ordered the squid (gummy and burnt like the frozen coles one), the beetroot salad (mains on the menu apparently rostered, but I can assure it was the same you can find at the supermarket already packed), spaghetti with meatballs (we didn't have expectations but my daughter couldn't finish and she eats everything), prawns no comment, and porterhouse meat with vegetables. The meat was nice (sauce aside) the veggies musty taste... The wine was pleasant. We paid 175 $. Rarely make a review, but this time I think it can be helpful

As we've recently gone vegetarian we wanted vegetarian options on the Chinese set menu and they gladly accommodated. I find the restaurant service to be above and beyond when compared to places like leeuwin estate or xanadu. More spacious than the main street places too. Then we come to the food it was quite the comfort food for us and the three course tasted excellent. They substituted the prawn tempura with arancini balls which were excellent too.

Judging by other reviews along with our own experience, this place is a bit hit and miss. We stayed at the Hotel and with a pref to dine in and not drink and drive we were a captive audience. Wine list good value and interestingly all bottles are the same price. However, while the food choice on the Menu looked appealing some dishes were good others not so. Out of our order of Salad, Lamb Cutlets, Baked Camembert and Pork Ribs, the only stand out on flavor and tenderness was the Lamb. Sadly the Caembert was served on it's own with nothing to spread it on and bread is an extra cost order. Not sure about their choice of serving dishes, they do little to appeal.

But, the Coconut Granola is divine. Oh, so delicious. Definitely recommend this dish.

This was a great little find during our recent visit to Margaret River. Little Farm is a cafe, coffee shop and country farm food shop all in one on Fearn Avenue. They have a few indoor and outdoor seatings and do take-away as well. Opening hours are 6am to 2pm (Mon to Sat), closed on Sundays.
We stopped here and picked up vegetarian friendly falafel sandwich and halloumi bagel that we enjoyed at the beach for brekky. We also picked up take-away boxes of Moroccan salad and broccoli, kale and lentil. Both were enjoyed as healthy dinner back at our apartment rental. Coffees picked up at Little Farm were very good as well.
Overall, a bit of a gem in Margaret River if looking for healthy food options during your stay. We would be happy to stop by again next time in the area.

Two stars for the burger, 5 stars for the poke bowl and the chips. The bowl was delicious and well prepared, chips were fresh and crispy, unfortunately the burger was prepared with a factoriced patty and no salad on it. Bun wasn't good either.
