Out of appreciation, I bought tickets for all three movies and the Blue Whales exhibit for three people — and even with that, it wasn’t expensive at all, just a little over $90. There’s a café on the 4th floor that was full of visitors. The menu doesn’t really offer much for healthy eaters, so we skipped it, but it’s a great spot for a quick snack, especially for kids. The first service I attended I loved. Of course the worship is incredible. I will say that the speakers are very loud during the sermon at the current (non permanent) campus which is unsafe for younger ears and those with auditory issues. The screen at this campus is smaller than I would prefer for streaming into the main campus. The second service I attended felt very Baptist and almost Pentecostal. There were several times during the sermon where it felt like the lead pastor was about to start speaking in tongues. At one point I actually watched his eyes get wild and that freaked me out. The lead pastor gets really passionate up there every weekend meaning he begins yelling which may be overwhelming and overstimulating to some especially with the volume level. Also be prepared for the lead pastor to shamelessly plug his new book. This does seem like a great place to go if you’re questioning what this Jesus thing is all about or if you’re a new believer. The staff and volunteers are very welcoming. The congregation is very diverse. They could do a better job of being more inclusive of disabled people. Other than the volume, it is very dark in the sanctuary (auditorium) during worship. There are volunteers holding up flashlights to alert you of places to watch your step but if you are low vision, the worship experience may not be the most accessible for you.
