I visited with my 8 and 3 year old and we all enjoyed the visit. It probably did help that Disney had a very cool costume and jewelry exhibition! Some of our personal favorites were from Return to Oz, Mary Poppins Returns, Santa Clause and A Wrinkle in Time, just to name a few. We were also given a very informative tour of the costumes and jewelry, which was included with the price of admission.
The film, Wicked, had a small instillation of some of the main characters beautiful costumes used in the movie. I couldn’t believe they already had these on display! Very cool and current!
There was also a Princess Diana exhibit that only had large photos of the late Princess and royal family along with narration from the photographer. This was our least favorite section in the museum. There was also another traditional art section that had pieces from various artists. The visit was VERY pricey, in my opinion. For the 3 of us, I paid $80😳🤑 ($42 for me and $19 for each of my children). I think children 5 and below should be discounted or free since they their attention span and/or appreciation is still forming. I was very impressed by the multiple exhibitions and the caliber of them! I would recommend for adults, especially any Disney enthusiast (the Disney exhibition goes from now till March 23, 2025)!

MC Escher Exhibit 2025
I've been an MC Escher fan since the mid-70's and have purchased several of his art books. My two adult kids grew up with his art in our home. We had prints, books, posters, and mugs. Our kids were excited to take a family trip to the Art Museum and see the work of this phenomenal artist! It was pretty incredible to stand only one foot away from his works! Probably a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The Arlington Museum is beautiful and easy to navigate thru. Parking is easy and restrooms are huge and spotless.
It was a memorable visit.

I had a chance to go to see the GAME OF THRONES exhibit on display and it was ÉPIC!!! To get to see the actual costumes John snow, Tyrion Lannister , little finger and Cersei wore was amazing .. We were met by the front museum staff who sold us the tickets of whom were extremely kind and welcoming, then just as we were about to pass westeros viewing the map of the seven kingdoms we were met by the amazing handsome director DENNIS! The tour he gave us made me feel like I was in universal studios with a behind the scene look with the wonderful information he provided. To top it off I GOT TO SIT ON THE IRON THRONE!!! If you are wondering if you should go don’t wonder anymore! Don’t miss it!

It was a great museum as the staff were wonderful. We saw the MCEscher exhibit this week. It was absolutely brilliant. At all costs. It's well maintained and adjacent to the Museum of Medal of Honor. Both are very well worth the time. Go here!

This museum is a Hidden Gem. They put together the MC Escher exhibit and is the first museum to show it in the United States. I've gone twice now 😍 because the exhibit was so good. It's also right next door to the Medal of Honor museum.

This is a very nice venue for an art exhibit. There is no signage on the building. It looks like a museum, so I think you're supposed to figure it out.
We saw the Escher exhibit. The works were well displayed and there was audio accompaniment for each drawing through their app with your own headphones. I like this option.
The exhibit included a movie which was informative, although a bit long. There was also major noisy bleedthrough from the Smurfs exhibit housed in the same general area as this exhibit.
There is a small modestly stocked gift shop.

Saw the Escher exhibit here. Layout was good and audio guide was available. Outside of specialty exhibit, the museum doesn't have many pieces in it's own collection. They are however quality art works.

First time here and it was a pretty cool place for an outdoor concert venue. I got there late so parking could be a hassle, I lucked out and someone was leaving as I was pulling up so I found parking pretty quick. Plenty of vendors. Plenty of police so I definitely felt secure. I will definitely be back again. I don't know why I've never been prior but I know now.

Great place for concerts, went to see Strangelove got early and found a great watching spot. No issues with parking. You can bring you own food and drinks (including beer) if the concert is free. There are also local places to buy from if needed. In general great experience, wish it was closer to home as we drove quite a bit to get there.

Wha an amazing time! While in town repairing my parents home, we took a night off to spend with family at the Levitt Pavilion.
The Pavilion is perfectly placed right in the middle of town behind City Hall. Bathrooms are modern and clean, food trucks are a plenty, sound is great, the grassy audience area is perfect for bringing lawn chairs, the sound was great, parking is easy. No complaints!

Amazing museum that makes a comparatively niche interest into a fun and interactive experience. I was stuck in the area due to a multi-day flight layover and stopped by after seeing good reviews. The museum didn't disappoint. It wasn't busy at all and I experienced most of the exhibits on my own. All the exhibits are very well-made, informative, and entertaining. The interactive elements are also high quality and fun.
The exhibits also heavily feature women's perspectives in the sport, which was refreshing and done with a lot of respect.
The staff was also extremely friendly and I enjoyed my brief conversations with the woman at the front desk.

I go to A LOT of museums. Like probably 20-30 per year. This has to be one of the best I’ve been too! I had 0 interest or knowledge of bowling and I was captivated the whole time! Great for adults and kids with lots of interactive opportunities.
By the time you reach the end of the museum you’ll be itching to pick up a bowling ball (spoiler alert: you get the chance to play at the end).
Well worth the price of admission and then some. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

I was giving some friends from England a tour of DFW. They were interested in seeing sights related to JFK and I knew this school used to be a casino and that a lot of celebrities and maybe some organized crime were involved. Even though I grew up in Arlington I had never made the time to visit. There's so much history still left underground and unexplored - I hope the city or some benefactor decides to invest because there's so many escape tunnels left hidden and unexplored - this tour will just leave you wanting more! Ask about going to see where Oswald is buried just down the road!

I had no idea about the history of Top O' Hill Terrace until my sister arranged for us to go on a tour. I was completely unaware that this place was VEGAS BEFORE VEGAS and now it's Arlington Baptist College. If you LOVE or just LIKE History, you'll enjoy Top O' Hill Terrace. This location in the 1930s and 40s was a gambling playground for the rich, famous and infamous. We're talking about some of the big names of that time like Bonnie and Clyde, Mae West, W.C.Fields, Gene Autry, Frank Sinatra,, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Jack Dempsey, Max Baer and the man responsible for Las Vegas, Bugsy Siegel just to name a few. Before it was a casino, it was a tea room but in the 1920s Fred and Mary Browning bought the property and converted it to a gambling mecca. The Browns added an escape tunnel and secret rooms for hiding the gambling equipment during police raids. The tunnel and secret rooms still exist and can be seen during the tour. It's all just fascinating stuff. Tour guide, Mrs. Vickie Bryant, is absolutely WONDERFUL. This tour is a WINNER in my book. 👍

From the moment I started walking this trail I liked it instantly! It’s very peaceful and quiet and birds chirping all over the place! There is plenty of shade and about 5 different trails from what I saw! The views are amazing , restrooms are clean , picnic tables, and playground for kids! Just make sure you take plenty of water to drink if you decide to walk more than a 5k and you get curious and want a challenge from walking or running!! I underestimated this trail because I chose to walk past the 7 mile mark , and from there it continues to the Trinity train station where the trail ends!! If you are in great shape and used to walking or running more than 10 miles, this is the place for you! I recommend just doing halfway for beginners! Other than that it is perfect for those who enjoy bike trailing!! A big thanks to the gentleman in the bike and the lady that was walking , who where very kind to give me some of there water!! Again if you decide to walk or run the entire trail to the end of the Trinity train station, take you plenty of water to drink!!

Good paved hike & bike trail goes SW from the park for several miles. In the park is a loop trail and a short trail that goes west for about a mile. Took Moose and Ingrid to the large dog off-leash site today, then walked the trails — they came back tired and happy. The park has plenty of room to run, toss a tennis ball (or Chuck It), and meet other friendly pups. Mix of shaded and sunny spots, with benches, water bowls, and a hose for cold water. Trails nearby connect to Cravens and Fish Creek Linear Park — good for a walk or ride. Bring extra water if you’re hitting the trails, as there are no fountains along the way.

Very nice park there were several benches back in the Shady woods. We had terrific time. Our dogs loved the open areas and the abundance of trees they could mark lol. There were separate areas for both large and small dogs. There was water along with bowls and toys scattered throughout. I recommend this park and encourage you to take your dogs for a visit.

By far the BEST Dog Park I have been to. Great open area and a wooded area for the dogs to run in. Poop Stations and a Waterfall to ensure the park stays clean and your pet hydrated. Definitely worth the 30min drive to get there.

I am giving this 4 stars because my dogs absolutely are crazy about this place. If I mention dog park they go crazy and I cannot get them leashed up fast enough and in the car. They will not calm down until we are in the car driving to the dog park. As soon as you are enclosed in the fence you can let them loose. It is completely fenced with a forest area with lots of trees. After rains it can be muddy and slippery. Take my advice do not where sandals. Wear tennis shoes. They are open until ten pm each night. If you go in the evening make sure you spray with Off. Mosquitoes are really bad in the evening so cover your arms and legs. My dogs love to run here so it has become a daily stop. The regulars that come here are very nice people with very well behaved dogs. And to my surprise this place is very busy at 0630

Enjoyable experience from cart attendant meeting me at my vehicle to Proshop giving a modest discount on a non-sale item. The tee boxes were very hard & worn but the fairways & greens were good. Greens were top dressed with sand but rolled well. The greens were very undulating so depending upon where the pins are set could easily make for an 8-10 shot swing in either direction. The driving range & practice putting, chipping & sand areas are adequate. The Proshop announces ur group via P.A. system giving a 5 min. prompt before U R to appear at the Tee box. Beverage cart service was pleasant & there were several restrooms at good intervals (#2 Green, 7, at the turn, & throughout back 9). The carts have touch screen GPS with small drink coolers, adequate cup holders & dual sand bottles for divot repair. The course also has several locations to replace ur empty sand bottles. I will definitely replay this track and that is unusual for me. I typically have a been there, done that, mindset. As a final note, there are several tee box choices to chose from to suit ur skill level. Tremendous views all around.

Tierra Verde Golf Club is hands down my favorite course in the Fort Worth area. The greens roll true and the layout is both challenging and fair. I love how peaceful it feels with no homes around—just golf and nature. The short game facility is top-notch, though I wish the range balls were better. Still, it’s the municipal gem I keep coming back to.

The greens have been fixed and no more poa annua.
Played here many times. They renovated the greens and bunkers in the Summer of 2022. The greens are fairways have been overrun by poa annua. The course has a nice layout and some fun holes. However the green situation take the fun out of playing at the moment. I would like to compliment the staff especially Elena on the beverage cart. We saw her about every 3 holes and she was very friendly. I would check the greens here before playing. Once they get fixed it will be a much better experience.

First time to come out to Tierra Verde. It's a course I've known I wanted to play but never could find a good deal or time. Finally, found a 250p on Thursdays for $25. Normally, this course's rates are around 60-80 and believe me it's worth that price too. Beautiful course, beautiful greens, beautiful layout, clean proshop, and helpful staff. The gentlemen running the proshop let us go early. The course was empty, we were playing in mid 50's so maybe everyone didn't think it was a good day to play. We loved our round. Short gravel loop with two small bridges and a few unmarked side trails that disappear into the trees — wasn’t sure where they led tbh.
The main path is easy to follow and well-maintained, but I did notice quite a bit of litter tucked in the brush, which takes away from the experience a bit.
The walk is pretty short. In fact, my commute here took longer than the trail itself. That said, there are a few infographics along the way if you’re into local geology, flora, or environmental facts.
Giving it 4 stars out of respect for the City of Arlington’s upkeep, but I’ll probably bring my dogs to longer trails next time 🥾

This is a beautiful spot that clearly took a lot of effort to create and maintain. The trail is well-formed, there’s plenty of shaded coverage, and it’s an enjoyable walk for anyone wanting a quick escape into nature.
Unfortunately, there are some downsides. I noticed graffiti in a few spots, and it appears to be a place where people party after hours. Beer cans and even condoms were scattered along parts of the trail, which definitely takes away from the experience.
Suggestion for improvement: Lock the area at night to help prevent after-hours misuse and keep the space as pristine as it deserves to be.

I loved learning about the history of Arlington, TX where I was born am raised. Wanda was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable the the WWII room and I loved learning about the people who fought for our country that were either from Arlington or associated with Arlington. I wish more people in Arlington would donate items they have that might be able to tell more of the history. There was quite a bit of information and items that allowed me to have insight into the growth of Arlington, TX but the history mostly stops around 1960. The Cowboys stadium was not mentioned, and although that was more recent, it is a VERY prominent feature of Arlington and will remain one of the most famous features for I'm assuming a very long time. I would like to see more information on how the stadium was brought here. Also, when it came to the Education area upstairs, I loved seeing the vintage composition books, and the things that had for viewing. But like I said, the history stops too Early here at the museum. Allan Saxe is a VERY important educational figure for Arlington TX and specifically UTA. He opened a free dentist office, a park, and placed the giant DREAM letters in downtown Arlington. He even has a burger named after him at J Gilligan's. I wish there was stuff about him as he will be remember throughout history here in Arlington and has been a huge part of the community for 50yrs.
Overall it was a fantastic experience but hopefully they get some newer items to show the cities exceptional growth more so within the last 50yrs so that the millennials and Gen Z like myself can have a better understanding of ALL the features in Arlington and the history behind things that are also more prominent to our generations.

Lots of local/Arlington history to enjoy. I was in town for work and took the opportunity to visit Richard Greene Linear Park for some birdwatching. It’s a great spot for a peaceful walk, with well-maintained trails and plenty of nature to enjoy. I was especially excited to spot a great-tailed grackle, a new addition to my life list! Walked the Richard Greene route after passing through the Cluck portion of the trail + was surprised how nice this place is. The giant stone sculptures by the pond make you feel like you’re walking through some ancient site, with a couple modern day colosseums w/in shouting distance — creating this epic backdrop.
Way nicer than most other places in Arlington. This whole area just keeps getting better and better; love to see it.

Beautiful park, sculptures are AMAZING! Inwas an artist at "Art On The Greene". It is a beautifully kept park in a great location with somwhat easy access. I had a great time enjoying the turtles in & out of the water. The trees are also a nice mix and create nice shady areas all over. The live music at the event was phenominal as well, hats off thlo the groups who played their insturments together or alone, and those who Sang. Ypur voices and talents were beautiful to experience and share.

I used to enjoy going here and recently tried to go when the weather was nice but now there is no place to park. Two places I used to park are now blocked off in favor of construction happening. Really sad because I miss walking here and have had great memories spending time at this park...hope the city returns things back to normal soon.

Took Moose and Ingrid for a long walk here today — trail was smooth, green, and gave them just enough room to sniff out some trouble. Courts were full of life: basketball games running 5-on-5, clean tennis courts in great shape, and plenty of space to move around. The playground and water park were packed with families, and a big group rented the pavilion with music and bbq — felt like a backyard reunion on a public scale.
Overall, giving it 5 big booms — facility is well maintained by the COA, it’s lively, and a solid place to burn energy (mine + the dogs’). No complaints… just bring water and good vibes 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

I come here to walk the 1 mile trail. Very easy walk on a paved route. every so often there are little workout stations. The grass is always cut. Every once in a while I will dog poop on the trail, but usually, very clean. A few picnic areas throughout. Plenty of parking.

This is a great park. There are plenty of things to do for any and all ages. They have a playground, basketball courts, volleyball courts and a pool with a splash pad. The pool and splash pad are $9 a person for 48 inches and up though. It's a little cheaper for kids but not much.

The only thing I would say is l wish there was better lighting over the playground so we can actually see the kids playing at night. This is a true neighborhood friendly park. There is always some activity happening from puppy training to soccer practice to an exercise boot camp.
The trail around the park is a recorded mile. There used to be markers, but those appeared to have been removed. I can still see where the original oval markers were located on the sidewalk. There are plenty of walkers in the morning and a few runners. The afternoon crowd tends to be more walkers and folks riding their bikes. The evening crowd is primarily families with kids.
Other great notes about the park are: various photo friendly vignettes, playground for the little ones, volleyball area, basketball court and tennis courts. There's a pavilion, which can be rented for private events and fairly clean restrooms.
Lastly, there's a few picnic tables and benches spread throughout the park.
Overall, clean and spacious. I enjoy running and taking photos here.

Gorgeous facilities with interesting wildlife and exhibits for kids. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. We came with a 7 month old and even he found things to love and was fascinated by the turtle exhibit.
It's not as extensive as a museum, but for a fun, cost-effective day out it was interstate. You can also tell the staff love what they do. Trails are really nice, well maintained and there's a surprising amount of wildlife for being in the middle of a city. Would live to return and explore more!

Visited for my first time on a Friday. Got the Silver Season Pass online that morning (it was the same price as a single-day ticket with parking).
WHAT I LIKED:
Rolled up about 40 minutes after the park opened. There was no wait to enter the lot or the park itself.
Slides were fun and wait times weren't bad (with the exception of Sea Wolf). Lazy river was relaxing, wave pool was fun, and the water temperatures weren't too cold.
They honor the All Season Drink Bottle from the Six Flags park.
There are lots of lockers which are super conveniently located and easy to access throughout the day.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE
Not near enough shaded chairs / loungers!!! There's lot of shaded picnic tables. The very small amount of shaded seats get snagged by the first people in the park. They are located to the left of the wave pool (chairs) and by Suntan Lagoon (lounge chairs).
You can't bring your own tubes for the lazy river but can rent theirs.
Not tubes allowed in the wave pool.
Some of the best slides require 2 riders.
There could be better signage leading to the rides, entrances to the lazy river (some spots are exit only) and restrooms.
NOTE: Some slides require you to step on a scale just before placing your tube to be launched.

The park is great for kids of all ages with lots of water areas for playing and swimming. They're are lots of waterslides to choose from, even a mini version of two fun ones for the littles! The only complaint we had was the all day dining tickets had all kinds of issues! It was frustrating, but we still had fun at the park.

Had a blast! Kids loved it since we got there early to get on some of the best slides without a long wait. Also it helps with some shaded seating areas. Went on almost all the slides, the kids splash pad area is really fun even for the bigger kids. Food and drinks are a bit pricey as you would expect but the quality is above average, no complaints. Can't wait to go back!

We came to Hurricane Harbor on a Wednesday and the lines were short for most slides and there was plenty of parking. The staff members we met were respectful and professional. Hurricane Harbor is a fun place but shade is a premium. We rented a locker, the bathrooms are large and clean. With benches for changing.

Six flag water park, hurricane Harbor. It's the biggest water park in Dallas fort Worth, located in Arlington. It's just on the other side of Six Flags. It has a wave pool, lazy river, a new 2025 kids area, o lot of baby slides to every extreme ones. Lines are long as normal six flag, be patient. Such a great place! Definitely able to spent 1 to 2 hours just in the nature center then plenty more to do in the park.
It's free to visit but they have a more hands on area for $5/adult and $3 ages 3 and up, definitely worth it!

Great place to spend a couple hours walking around and learning about nature. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The kids loved it here! The exhibits in the Lobby are free and so is the nature walk (highly recommend). There is an exhibit room which requires a small fee to enter and explore. They have a small gift shop area too which is very affordable. We want to come back when it's a bit warmer and drier. I bet it's beautiful in the spring!

Been here a few times, first when it was being built, then developed, and now it seems to be a genuinely fine science center full of fun and interactive items suitable for small groups of maybe 10-15 kids, possibly upwards of 25 (in the paid exploration part).
The price is absolutely affordable. And the experience is worth it, if only to show the kiddos some of the local wildlife, including some venomous snakes as a cautionary tale.
And again, absolutely worth the very affordable price! I sure wish their summer and school year programs didn't fill up so quickly!

This place is amazing! There's a ton of land, multiple entrances, and so many walking/biking trails with lanes. I love the fact there's multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, and even an upper body workout station. Perhaps best part is the science center, which is quite hidden and blends in with the environment. So I have not personally experienced this center YET....but our car broke down this was the closest building and we asked if we could come inside to stay cool and the receptionist was AMAZING. She was so sweet and helpful showing my kids around. My toddlers warmed up to her IMMEDIATELY. I will definitely be going to the events when I'm off and looking into putting my son into this center. To the woman who thinks she can use the Kindness room as a work space I see you but that is not a reserved room and you found that out today. If you don't have a sitter and need a more private space there are study rooms you can reserve for just you upstairs. Expecting to own the room because you are in there is beyond entitled and I let you know you can't claim ownership. My only issue with the library is they need to have it clearly posted outside that room that it is not reserved. This library is super kid friendly!! I especially love the low bins for kids books that allow kids to easily select books without having to take them off a shelf. My daughter can’t read yet and loved being able to look at the covers of the books instead of the spines. Cravens Park has several baseball and volleyball fields, a tennis court, and a shaded playground for kids. Walking paths connect to Tails ‘N Trails and Fish Creek, which is great for dogs and cyclists, but bring water in the heat. That said, there are a couple blue fountains throughout the facility. Very large , sprawling park with lots of features. There are tennis courts, baseball fields, a gazebo with charcoal grill, and sand volleyball courts. Everything looks well maintained and parking seemed to be easy to find. I didn't see a restroom but there might be one somewhere near the playground. The walking trail winds through the woods near the creek for a good distance. It's a fine place to spend a warm, sunny afternoon.

One of my favorite trails: Fish Creek Trail. It is beautifully designed, kept clean, and not overrun. You can bike or skate on the all paved trail. We get a great workout and a major nature boost. We typically start at the trailhead off Matthew Rd in Grand Prairie and take it all the way to Cravens Park. It is about 14 miles round-trip. There are a few slight elevations and nice variations of the trail.

This was a beautiful spot. It was acres and acres of a variety of things from a water park, areas to cook/fellowship and athletic playing fields and trails. I went to walk along the trail that is close to the lake. Along the trails I saw a lot of beautiful flowers.
I saw this spot off Hwy 30 and wanted to chill close to some water. No it's not running water like the ocean or river but the still water was refreshing. I will definitely visit this spot again and maybe go to the water park the next time. Despite it being really hot in July/August the water park was 'packed.'

No inner tubes of any type allowed! Went to the aquatic center today. 48” and taller is 9 dollars, 48” and under is 8. Summer swim pass is better if you plan on going frequently. 50 for 48” and under and 60 for 48” and over. Can be used at ALL Arlington aquatics center. There is a list on their website. For the water park…there were two areas. One for small children that’s has a park style water park with two slides along with a mini frog slide for VERY small children and another area for older kids. The one for older kids connects to the lazy river. The small children area is great for small children. My 1.5 year old went and was able to walk around freely, but parents must still stay vigilant because there are other children and the water is still enough for a child to fall and drown. The small children area also has colder water for some reason. There was a significant temperature difference between the two areas. So much that we stayed in the older children area. My 5 year old preferred the warmer water over the water slides and water fountains.
They have shower stalls in the bathroom and both the bathroom and shower stalls were clean. Wet, but clean. Lifeguards didn’t take a break and swapped out routinely with other lifeguards to take a break from the heat. There were plenty of chairs, we used only one to set the whole family’s things down on. Nothing went missing, so that’s a plus. Only downfall is you CAN NOT bring any kind of inner tube in to float around the lazy river. We brought it into the park but we were only able to make one circle around the river before being told by the lifeguard that it was not allowed. No matter how small! So I carried my 1.5 year old the whole time. You can however have your toddler wear a floatie or life jacket. I have attached photos. Overall, the 5 year old had fun and so did the whole family, just wish inner tubes were allowed for younger children. It would have been perfect! Would definitely return, but would also seek out other water parks that allow inner tubes for small children.

I went to the pool and it closed at 5 , they have new hours. So I was by the little lake at a picnic table relaxing when I suddenly started walking, I ended up, as usual, off the beaten path.
Some say I'm eccentric, some say weird and some just ask to spend a day with me , because I find and discover all the unusual.
I love nature , and I stay away from crowds and I connect and find my happiness sometimes through wandering and though I have never shared before some of my crazy discoveries , I am today.
Because I don't think everything worth seeing should be " paved out for you " , what i think I awesome and art and beautiful might not be for you,, someone out there will appreciate this find.
Randoll mills park is awesome because of a duck and years of relentless spray painting, , and its natural beauty and pool, needs more water fountains.
