We wish we could have stayed the whole week!We are both surfers, and all we wanted to do was surf and take naps, and this place was perfect for that. We stayed in the king room on the 4th floor and had a panoramic view of all the surf breaks (zippers, the rock, old man’s) so we could watch the waves from up there to decide where we wanted to go. The family that runs the hotel is just the sweetest, and they were so knowledgeable about the local surf and gave us recommendations for local restaurants too. Very quiet hotel - probably not good for loud kids or younger people wanting to party. But absolutely perfect for surfers and/or couples wanting a serene and romantic getaway. It's family run and they were wonderful during our whole stay. The room was roomy and the view was breathtaking. Our room was on the ocean end of the very small hotel and had a balcony that reached over toward the water. There seemed to be 3-4 rooms of this type and are worth a request for them. Excellent breakfast options cooked to order each morning; part of our package. There are three things to know besides the fact that it was one of our favorite hotels ever. The road noise from the adjacent main thoroughfare can be a little loud. Pretty easy to overlook because of the beauty of the hotel and it being nestled down toward the beach. There is no elevator, so if you have an issue with stairs request a ground floor. There is not a safe, easy, quick way to walk into town, so rent a car if you plan to enjoy more than the beach and pool.
