As an event space—also wonderful! It was the perfect venue for our anniversary reception. They have a fantastic staff who graciously accommodated multiple walkthroughs (an initial one, our visit with our event planner, and then a visit with our parents). The location is gorgeous with some iconic views of Chesapeake Bay—our pictures turned out amazing with minimal fuss! They have a versatile space that can accommodate one big dance floor, a bar, and even little couches and seatings for folks to sink back and catch up quietly. Great venue, and a fantastic team!

The museum has exhibits showing the history of oystering, different harvesting tools and the story of the region’s oyster industry. You could also go down the docks and cast your crab cages or fish lines for crabs. There’s an handful of great sized-crabs in the water surrounding the dock. It is a great spot to simply enjoy the boats passing by and catch the sunset.

The Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park sits right on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, celebrating the city’s deep nautical roots and the legacy of the Bay’s watermen. Housed in a former oyster-packing plant, the museum blends history, ecology, and maritime culture through interactive exhibits, restored boats, and waterfront views. What a wonderful trip we planned on the Wilma Lee. The crew was absolutely fantastic. Working with Lauren at The Latitude Agency, and everyone involved in planning was an exercise in superb customer service. We couldn't ask for better! To sail on the Wilma Lee is to experience history first hand - it is truly unique and I highly recommend to any visitors to Annapolis, and also of course, to locals who may want to gather their family and friends for an amazing night out. The Wilma Lee is the PERFECT wedding weekend, family reunion experience, office outing, and friendly space for just getting together. Amazing!! This venue is so beautiful and the coordinator and the staff that help you make your special day come true are fantastic. We could have not asked for a better venue. We had amazing weather so that made it more beautiful. But we fell in love with the space and the fact you get to have so many different options to enjoy. The lawn, the pier, the museum, the deck etc. Everything to museum has to offer is just top notch. Also the barge house they offer to get ready in, is absolutely perfect.

What a wonderful museum! This is a gem and absolutely worth the visit. It’s a small, accessible ♿️ museum focusing on the “area’s maritime heritage and the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay through programs, exhibits and community events.”
Well organized and very modern, with great hands on activities for grownups and children.
There are exhibits inside and outside. The view of the bay is gorgeous and one can watch the boats go by. A little sandy entry to the water is right next to the dock and we saw many kayakers enter the water.

There are clean bathrooms and outside, a bowl of water AND treats for dogs.
There is limited parking on site, and most park on the streets which are very narrow.

I recently visited the gardens and while the landscape itself was beautiful, the gardens weren’t as bloomed as I had expected. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time that many of the plants were out of season. However, the history of the property was fascinating, and I really appreciated Pat Turlington’s engaging overview. Overall, I had a lovely time and enjoyed learning about the rich background of the estate.

Beautiful, green serene garden. Not many people were visiting so that made it better! The entire garden is not very big but worth the $5 entrance fee. For $12 you get to also visit parts of the house. Worth visiting in Annapolis.

I'm so glad that we stopped here. Interesting history displays inside and you can tour the house interior as well as the gardens. The gardens were lovely even in late October. So interesting to see how the 1% lived in the 1700's. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful house and interesting, detailed tour. Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable, not just about the house but the period in general. She did a. Great job connecting the history of the house and family to the history of the United States and Annapolis. It was really interesting. You can visit just the gardens for less than the cost of a tour and the gardens are beautiful as well.

This venue had all of our guests in awe with the incredible views & picturesque landscapes & gardens. Even better, the staff was professional and easy to work with. Kristin originally walked us through the property and helped us throughout our entire wedding planning process. You could tell she is passionate about her job, the property, and the couples that get married there. It was an easy yes for us. Throughout the planning process the venue made renovations we weren’t even expecting that made the property even more magical. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor/waterfront venue that offers professionalism, ease of planning, great communication and genuine interactions, Historic London Town is your venue. Beautiful location on the water with woodlands, gardens, and authentic structures, including an original brick home with a gorgeous view. Lots of hands-on items from the past and educated docents to provide a fascinating look into our history. Respectfully written accounts of the incredible courage and ingenuity of enslaved people are posted inside the reconstructed places they lived and worked. My dogsitter cancelled on me and I had to take a giant 1 year old dog with me on my quick vacation to the Annapolis area. London Town was listed on Bring Fido. The visit went even better than I thought it would and this is truly one of the most dog friendly places I've ever been.
The grounds are beautiful but not fussy with nice walking paths (gravel) and lots of shade overhead from mature trees. The staff were helpful and friendly, the exhibits good and educational. There were several areas where benches were tucked away in the shade.
The only place dogs aren't allowed is the actual historic home. If you have a traveling companion, you could easily take turns waiting with the pet outside. I was solo, so we skipped the house. But still had lots to see/do. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you need a dog friendly activity around Annapolis.

What a gorgeous venue for a wedding! Historic London Town & Gardens is truly one of the prettiest event locations in the DMV. You can get married on a spacious lawn with a view of the South River behind you and then have your wedding portraits done in the lovely gardens surrounding the main building. As wedding photographers, we particularly liked the woodsy area down the hill from the open lawn area. The little "valley" at the bottom is an especially beautiful spot. It has the added bonus of being secluded, so you can get your portraits done in a relaxed and peaceful environment.

The Naval Academy is definitely a place to visit if you’re in the Annapolis area. There are walking tours and bus tours but we decided to follow the map and do it on our on. The campus is beautiful and well kept. All the buildings are magnificent. The Academy Chapel is a must see while you’re there, simply gorgeous and then you can go underneath part of the chapel to visit John Paul Jones crypt which is breathtaking, honoring one of our true Naval heroes! The day we went was perfect, very little clouds and just a nice cool afternoon, not too warm. We visited June the 11th 2024.
We even got to see the Navy football team practicing.

The drinks are pricey for the small amount you get but the lavender 75 was delicious. I ordered the stuffed rockfish 10/10 going back to get it again. There is always availability for seating and there are plenty of spaces to rent for events big or small. There is no bad choice on the menu, everything is incredible! The Braised short rib pasta was incredible and was impressed with the portion size. Highly recommend the lobster and shrimp bisque as well.

We got half a dozen oysters and the schooner seafood tower for the three of us. The meal was delicious.
We also got the best salad and two bowls of cream of crab. The schooner in my opinion is more like for 2.5 people rather than 3 to 4. Without soup and beet salad it would not have been enough.
I had a special request for three of us attending and not only did they set us up with an amazing table, the waitress also followed up on the status if the auspicious event!

What a delightful evening we had celebrating our anniversary. The service was attentive and the atmosphere romantic with beautiful views of the Spa Creek. I had the SHELLFISH LINGUINE which was loaded with lobster | shrimp | mussels | clams | scallops garlic butter | bone marrow toast all in a broth that was seasoned just enough to bring out the flavors of the shellfish. I started with a cup of NE Clam Chowder which was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was thick with clams, creamy and with a light savory flavor. I would highly recommend Chart House Prime for a wonderful evening out.

Today we came to the second time, and since we really liked it the first time, we came again to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere in Annapolis. We also brought some friends from D.C. to this lovely restaurant we had enjoyed before.
However, one of the servers — her name was Alicia or Eliza , I believe — behaved quite rudely from the beginning.
When we politely asked for a few things, she responded with a harsh attitude. There wasn’t necessarily anything racist, but she was extremely impolite. For example, when we asked for ekstra hot water for tea, she replied disrespectfully, saying, “I only have two hands.”

It completely ruined our mood. Although the manager later came over, apologized, and offered us complimentary desserts, the experience was already spoiled.

1st time at the Chart House. Per usual for an Annapolis location, the parking was sparse. Location was amazing, It's actually its own wharf with boats tied up on the starboard side and 30 foot ceilings with incredible nautical views out the spacious windows. Our server Brady was just the right touch of are guys good plus Ill leave you guys alone to enjoy your meal kinda dude. Very knowledgeable about the menu as well. The food...oh my the food. I had the crispy escargot on mushrooms and they were the best I've had since my cruise in 2015. My wife had a ceasar salad which comes in an edibe parmesean bowl. She got a crab cake app to go w the salad and the bite I had was incredible. I had the seafood pasta which had clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops and lobster in a reddish sauce that was equally amazing on its own dunked in the homade bread. Half of that I brought home. Lastly, we split a dessert - mud pie - with coffee ice cream and crunchy oreo bottom. Looking forward to returning soon and you can use their reservation service to save your seats before you get there as it's only going to get more crowded as summer moves in.

This was one of the nicest restaurants I’ve been to in my life, and I’ve been to a lot of restaurants. As soon as we got there, I was very impressed by all the wine on display. We were seated in a large semi circle booth that seemed like an interesting choice considering I was only with one person. It was comfortable and had a decent view of the water though. The windows make it very easy to see the water. I got the cherry palmer which was basically a cherry ice tea lemonade, and it was pretty good. My girlfriend also liked her drink.
We started with the crab dip, belly and the beast (octopus and pork belly), and cream of crab. The belly and the beast was presented very nicely. The octopus was an amazing tender, and I usually don’t like octopus. The pork belly was delicious and very crispy. The cream of crab was super thick and had a lot of actual crab meat. The crab dip was one of the best crab dips I’ve ever had. The flavor of it was amazing and there was so much crab meat. A large part of what made it so good was the bread. It was the perfect texture and there was butter inside of each little slice. We ended up also getting the bread service which was pretty good. The 3 accompaniments were regular butter, pesto sauce, and a honey old bay butter. The honey old bay butter was especially great.
For my entree I got the New York strip, which I think was listed as 16 oz. I chose to get the bone Marrow butter on it. The way they serve it is super cool. The guy literally torches the bone marrow on to the steak right in front of you. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, as I ordered. It was very high quality meat. One of the better steaks I’ve had. The bone marrow butter made it noticeably more rich and fatty. My girlfriend got the seafood pasta, which was a massive portion as well with a great amount of sea food. The bread with it was very good, especially with the white wine sauce in the pasta. She really liked it.
We also shared a side of the lobster risotto which was pretty good. I also got the faux-jito mocktail which was basically a non alcoholic mojito with some fruits. Very good and refreshing though. For dessert we got the crème brûlée tasting. The flavors were vanilla, strawberry rose, and orange. They were all so good and super thick and rich.
The service was super friendly, while also being professional. Our server gio was great. Definitely recommend this place if you’re anywhere near Annapolis

We have been to this so called "fine dining place-casual attire required" 2 times.
At first we like the atmosphere and the waiter attitudes toward us and the service. Food was ok. We tried calamari, chopped salad the "eye of the ribeye" hoping that we would have the most delicious steak, unfortunately the small portion meat came with some burned outside and raw inside. Having this experience we still like the atmosphere and decided to visit again with our friends.
Unfortunately, the second experince was worse that the first one. The young waitress (named Elysa or Alicia) was rude and unwilling to service from the beginning. The last point which made us really angry; when ever we asked for extra hot water for tea, she responded rude and angry "I have just 2 hands etc..."
Whenever we talked to the manager, she gave her apologies and offered the desert on the house. But the waitress already spoiled the vibe.
it is unfortunate to encounter waiters/waitresses who display uncontrolled emotional reactions and disturbing attitudes towards guests in a restaurant like this.
Since this was a bad experience for all of us, my review is 1 star and I dont think we will go this restaurant again.

3.5 — The service was incredible and the restaurant’s views are absolutely beautiful. We loved our cocktails and truly can’t say enough great things about the staff. However, the food just really let us down — especially for the price (our meal was over $200). I will happily spend a lot of money on food and not blink, but I left feeling disappointed. The complimentary bread and herb oil and honey Old Bay butter was AMAZING. However, that’s about the only thing I had that blew me away. Oh, and the cream of crab soup was delicious. The Rocket Man sushi roll we got was fine. The belly and the beast had tasty pickled peppers but most of the pork belly was too fatty and chewy and most of the plate was filled with garnish. My blackened king salmon was a generous portion but it was so bland and pretty dry and served atop a bed of vegetable cous cous that reminded me of a Lean Cuisine. The lobster risotto was OK and kind of tasted like it was from a chain restaurant. My husband’s ribeye was tasty enough. The mushrooms we got on the side also had a nice flavor but felt pricey. The views from our table and the inside of the restaurant were absolutely STUNNING especially at sunset and the staff couldn’t have been lovelier and more on the ball, but I really don’t think the food was worth the price. If you go, definitely make a reservation and check out the cocktail menu.

We recently hosted a party at Level, and I can’t say enough great things about the experience! From the very start, working with Eric, the owner, was a breeze—he was incredibly informative, responsive to emails and texts, and made the planning process seamless.
On the day of the event, a projected snowstorm had me very worried, especially since I had guests flying in from out of town that were here for my event. Christian, the event manager, was beyond reassuring. He explained that the restaurant is committed to staying open, even arranging transportation for staff when needed in bad weather. That level of dedication and teamwork truly stood out.
While about half of my guest list had to cancel due to the weather, it didn’t impact the night at all. The atmosphere, food, and drink selection made up for everything. We even got to play our own playlist on their upstairs sound system, which added a personal touch. The staff was friendly, the bathrooms were spotless, and despite my last-minute changes to timing and seating, they accommodated everything with ease.
Between their flexibility, responsiveness, and reasonable pricing, I’ll definitely keep Level as my go-to event space. And I have to mention—their cocktail selection is amazing! The food and drinks are incredible, the only thing that took off a star was some of our food came almost 20 minutes after the rest, so we were all done eating when one person received their dinner. Highly Recommend for events and weddings!! This place first of all has the most caring and welcoming owners. Eric and Jennifer want to make sure you have the best experience. From the moment we met to explore Level the hospitality and genuine nature was felt! Of course price is always a wedding nightmare, but Eric was reasonable and tried to help in anyway! Jennifer the night of said " You need it find me!"
Lexi the bartender was so beyond personable and we go back to visit her just for the joy of amazing conversation! Sous Chef was on point and the food was amazing! The guests raved over the crafted cocktails 🍸 I went over board on the espressos..lmao.
Barely any food left and any we did have was ours and that means alot. We return to Level on our own now and still amazing food and atmosphere. We look forward to everyone's smiling faces old and new. The seasonal menus always give us something new to try...and we have yet to be disappointed! And the Classe Azul...well just 😋

Prompt attention by our server (“yes”, Mandy said) who was attentive throughout our experience. Met the owner with a special touch of attention twice during our experience who shared the updating and the present state of LEVEL’s operation…nice touch.
Enjoyed the combination charcuterie with marvelous pate’, cured meats and herbed cheese…a nice sour dough bread would have been a good addition. Ah, next time we ask.
Perfect sized small plate portions, not a tapas, but a bit more of seared (dry, not wet) scallops with a flavorful creamy corn sauce; while the two perfectly seasoned (taste that wine reduction though) lamb chops with herbed mashed potatoes and brocolli rabb were most yummy.
Now, none of the exquisite dessert items tempted us, but that great server, knowing how minds might work, did conjure up an-almost-perfect affogato with our coffee and vanilla ice cream. This is service awareness.
Let’s not forget…we must stay hydrated. Sooooo, do not forget to ask for the unique sangria (just keep it without ice!), with tang, sparkle, and we think a bit of spice (perhaps clove and/or anise).

Had another fantastic dinner at Level on November 1st. New and updated food keeps us coming back to try new dishes. The staff and managers always go above and beyond to accommodate and they delivered! On this evening there was a party upstairs, it way too loud and even disrespectful to all others in the restaurant trying to enjoy their evening. Our server was so apologetic, we saw the manager talking to all the tables as it was beyond loud upstairs! When we were told of the situation, we let them know we still had a magnificent time and will continue to come to Level !!

I was at Port Annapolis earlier this week for a survey including haulout and sea trial. Port Annapolis is one of the few places on Chesapeake Bay that can haul moderately wide catamarans and they definitely know what they're doing.
Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Dockmaster Scott Myer was excellent and very helpful. I have a protocol for tying up and my crews are trained so that we're self-sufficient. Scott showed up to help us on the dock and despite his expectations being different, he fit right in and actually helped. His communication throughout our brief stay was first class.
Micheal Hickman was our lift driver. Michael made the effort to introduce himself when we arrived and returned to let us know there was flexibility in our scheduled haul and if we were ready we could go early. That was a real help on our schedule. Again very good communication.
Pleasant place to sit in the shade in view of the lift well which is not common in working boatyards.
VP & GM Scott Tinkler was somewhat taken aback that someone made the effort to complement his team. He has good people to work with. I attribute the generally high level of performance and consistent work culture including excellent communication with customers to his leadership.

Just home from a delightful 4 days at Port Annapolis Marina. Beautiful grounds with many places to sit and relax, lovely pool overlooking Back Creek and best of all Black Market Bakery on site!! Scott and John were amazing, shuttled us to downtown and even provided a “mobile” golf cart that came to our slip to pump us out before leaving! Highly recommend!

We had the fortunate experience of being hauled out on September 22 and we had quite a lengthy list of things to be done. We put new bottom paint on and also had the hull polished. Henry was the lead on that project and he was exemplary. I would have him work on my boat anytime. The biggest job was removing and then installing a new windlass by Ideal We had opted for the largest windless Ideal makes and it was quite a project. JD was the lead on this project and he and his crew were phenomenal. After a survey, we learned that we need to have the Rudder shoe looked at and after we hauled at this facility we found a crack and it needed to be repaired. Our boat is over 50 years old, so it was a job that we had to do mechanically rather than order a part. Once again, JD and his trustee cohort Adam Did an amazing job.
JD was also the person to service nine winches. We had our tack looked at our throttle adjusted, we had our Victron battery. System looked at and assessed, and many other things we just kept adding. Steve was our project manager and he was fantastic. Scott was helpful by getting us to West Marine for some parts on occasion and he was also the gentleman who helped us get a slip after we were put back in the water. We would not hesitate to recommend this facility and we would come back if we are ever in the area again. We are Ron and Shari Ramos aboard the sailing vessel Blue Star, a 49 foot Hinkley sailing ketch.

My boat is Iron Mistress and she has literally sailed around the world and thus we have been to boatyards of all sorts( including ones in South Africa where you have to operate the equipment yourself). But I have always had trouble with 35 metric ton travel lifts that do not have the sailboat extension on the top beam as my tower or rig has to be taken down( a major hassle). However Mike and Eddie figured how to lift my boat without the extension by backing her up so the tower came up OUTSIDE the top cross beam!!! That was brilliant and worked perfectly. Thank you guys- great job!!!

We used the water taxi to go over to this marina from the other side of Back Creek to visit the amazing bakery at this Marina. The water taxi proved to be very unreliable and difficult to get a hold of even with the Dock Master “Scott”s help… with no hesitation and a smile, Scott offered to drive us to downtown Annapolis to walk around. He gave us a little history lesson while on the drive and brought us to our destination. He certainly didn’t need to do this and it was so appreciated. Our experiences dealing with both Safe Harbor employees and soon to be Safe Harbor employees have left us raving over the upstanding people they have working there. I hope Safe Harbor rewards them as they are all so deserving as Scott proved to us once again. Highly recommend!

Just made our second visit. Great restaurant! Love the ambiance, soft lighting, and great art. The cocktails are well made albeit expensive, and the service is excellent as both servers we have had were very knowledgeable on the menu. There is also a speakeasy downstairs that you should definitely visit!
The food here is generally excellent. I had the lamb ragu at my first visit, and the clam dish at my second (pictured). Both were well seasoned with authentic al-dente pasta. However, I think the best dish on the menu is the mushroom pasta. It has a very deep and rich flavor, and it will be my order next time I go. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this place from top to bottom from the atmosphere, service food, coffee expresso all of the above. Everything was absolutely delicious. This is by far my favorite restaurant so far in Maryland.
We had an illy espresso, cappuccino, coffee, and Parmigiana al Forna to start the night. For our main course, we went with Filetto all' Acteo Balsamico (I had to get it well done due to my liver transplant. It was still very tender and cooked incredibly well, considering I had to have it well done) Cavolfiore alla Griglia (seasoned very well. I wish it was more in a steak form. But a great option for vegan and vegetarian's) and Pollo con Erbe Aromatiche (the chicken was cooked absolutely perfectly. Not overcooked, not under cooked. This was one of our favorites) sides where Spanaci Saltati, Patate al Forno, and Asparagi Grigliati and finally for dessert we had Assaggio di Dolci (a taste of 4 different desserts. Love love love this place! The food is always delicious and the service top notch. The new location has a very different atmosphere from the old one but it’s okay. Our server was great, attentive, and very helpful with menu questions. We will definitely come back.

The food and atmosphere were great. To start we had a "50-50" which was their take on an old fashioned. For dinner we ordered the special which was a prawns and scallop pasta and a fillet with truffles, both were very good.
Then our waiter disappeared, several times. Between him and the bartender who was attempting to fill in for him the ball was obviously dropped on our table. The restaurant was not busy so there was really no excuse for the horrible service. It took around 40 minutes after dinner for the host to notice we were staring at the staff and to send our waiter over. Who gave us a complementary cheesecake, which was fantastic. But overall we could have had a way better experience had Vic, our waiter, actually acted like he cared about the experience.
I feel bad when the chef and the back of the house do a good job just to have the front line mess up their work.
Also we choose this restaurant for our first wedding anniversary dinner, because it was so highly rated and recommended by a local. This was a disappointing experience but the food was good so I'll rate it middle of the road.

High end and hip Italian restaurant with the other and first location in Florence. Went for a birthday dinner. The Secondi or meat entrees leaned heavily to steaks. The pasta and salads were enough for us and delicious.The Tuscan tomato soup was excellent. I had the Italian cheese cake for dessert and it was one of the best I have ever had. We visited this restaurant at our daughter’s request while in town, as she said it was the best Italian food in the area. It may be the best option near the riverfront, but we felt something was off from the moment we walked in.
When we were seated, our waitress showed little interest in engaging—no smile, no small talk—and that lack of warmth continued throughout the evening. When we needed a few minutes to decide on drinks, she walked away without a word, which set the tone for the rest of the service.
The menu itself felt oddly put together, and for the prices charged, the food was underwhelming. We didn’t even attempt to try from the $50+ wine selection, as the pricing seemed a bit extravagant for what was being offered.
If you want a different kind of atmosphere in downtown Annapolis, it may be worth a try, but overall we left disappointed. I see many five-star reviews, though a lot appear to be from local guides, which makes me wonder if they’re incentivized. In the end, make your own call—but for us, we won’t be returning.

We recently held a Safari Theme Baby Shower at the Atreeum. Working with Ray was a breeze from beginning to end. He was AWESOME, he was very welcoming, and he showed us around the venue, was knowledgeable, informative, and resourceful. He even offered to allow us access to the venue the night before to start setting up. The venue is immaculate, restrooms spotless, it has a bar, a bridal suite, second floor mezzanine, an elevator and ample parking. The venue is beautiful and the grounds are nicely landscaped and well maintained. I emailed Ray the floor plan which was setup upon our arrival, we had a few table changes and adjustments and Ray was helpful and kind enough to make changes as we needed. I highly recommend The Atreeum at Soaring Timbers to anyone looking for a BEAUTIFUL venue for any occasion. Ray went above and beyond my expectations and I look forward to my next event at The Atreeum at Soaring Timbers.

I cannot say enough good things about this venue. From price being so reasonably, the space being absolutely gorgeous, to the ease of working with the staff if was just fantastic. Wonderful bar area, kitchen area and bridal suite. The balcony was also great for cocktail hour when we had to move the chairs. It was seamless. The Atreeum is a beautiful venue for any occasion. We were blessed to locate this venue. It reminds me of an enchanted tree house. We used it for my daughter Sydnei's baby shower. The venue is absolutely beautiful with plenty of natural lighting and open space, there’s ample parking, a spacious dressing room and kitchen, and lovely staff (Ray is awesome, he and his wife even came back to the venue hours later and helped me scour the parking lot asphalt for my missing earring 😅). My hubby and I decided on a spur-of-the-moment afternoon outing in Falmouth, and what a pleasant surprise. A nice, sunny, relaxing 3-hour sail past Falmouth Heights, towards Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs, and back again. I’ve taken the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard often and never realized how quiet this schooner is in comparison. So very zen. Captain Chris and his small crew bent over backwards to ensure everybody had drink in hand and were happy. They even allowed the kids to help out with the sails, etc. You can tell Captain Chris loves what he does and that just rubs off on everybody. Kudos to La Liberté!

My husband and I have been sailing on the Liberte the first week in August for about 9 years now and I tend to go 2-3 x a day. My husband likes the sunset sail. It is the most reasonable, most memorable, most beautiful stress relieving outlet. I dream about my sails daily during the Winter months. Captain Chris is the best. I recommend it VERY HIGHLY. Unfortunately, not very often do we get to see the co-captain Jane because she is handling other aspects of the business but to know THEM is to love them. A buddy of mine and I had some time to spare in downtown Annapolis, so we thought we’d get some seafood. The Federal House looked good, so we stopped in for lunch on a whim.
We had the crab dip starter, followed by my lobster grilled cheese and my buddy’s “Pick 2” soup and sandwich.
Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised. Both of our meals were really good, and our server was entertaining and very friendly. Having the outside patio to relax and chat made for a great atmosphere—nice weather and pretty good people-watching thanks to the boat show.

Many of the trails are well shaded and there were many rest areas along the trails. This park is very quiet as the name would suggest and serene. The visitors center is clean and many times have arts and photo exhibits. The holly pavilion trail takes you to the overlook with gorgeous view of the south River. Our dogs love the dog beach by the south River overlook where they can swim in the River.

I had the delight of dining in on a Saturday afternoon for their brunch menu. I ordered the avocado toast. The whole wheat bread was perfectly toasted and the eggs were cooked to a beautiful over medium. The avocado, cherry tomatoes and basil were so fresh and the balsamic reduction brought the whole dish together. You get a choice of home fries, grits or fruit and I went with the home fries and they were so good. The potatoes were fork tender and had just the right amount of crispiness. Not overly seasoned and tasted amazing dipped into the yolk of the egg. The staff were an absolute delight and were happy to offer recommendations on dishes. Our bellies were happy and our glasses stayed full. Will definitely be dining there again.

As I sit here finishing my meal with a friend, we're both reflecting on how great everything has been during our visit to this restaurant, which we chose to celebrate her birthday. From the food to the service to the overall atmosphere, it has been an exceptional experience.
Food & Drink: We sampled a variety of dishes, including the charcuterie board, Brussels sprouts, miso-glazed salmon, lamb lollipops, and a spinach salad. Was looking for a rooftop spot with drinks, dinner, and a good vibe — this place delivered! We ordered several small plates, and everything was delicious. The lamb and shrimp were both amazing, and the Brussels sprouts (with that honey glaze!) were so good we ordered a second round.

Wish I could give this a bazillion stars! We have always loved Metro but tonight they went above and beyond. I have been diagnosed with some health issues recently and eating out has been very stressful. Chris and Oscar were so super patient and informative to make sure my husband and I had a great meal that would fit into my new restrictions. I cannot say enough good things about how well they treated us. I was so worried about being a pain in the butt, but they were just so kind and accommodating. Left a decent tip but wanted to make sure Chris and Oscar got kudos on here too!!!!

Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge is a reliable choice in downtown Annapolis with a comfortable, relaxed vibe. I loved the rockfish — it was fresh, flaky, and seasoned just right, easily the highlight of the meal. The pork belly, unfortunately, was overcooked and didn’t live up to expectations, which was a bit of a letdown. Even so, with dishes like the rockfish, it’s worth returning to see what else the kitchen does well.

My wife and I flew up to Annapolis with the UAB team for the 2025 UAB Army football game. After traveling up to West Point last year for the UAB-Amy game and experienced the somewhat rundown Army stadium, I was very impressed with Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. We were up in the visiting A.D.‘s box and it was very nice and the food was excellent. Unlike Army’s Stadium, the concourse below the seats were spacious and therefore not as crowded. What really impressed me was that there are seat backs for every spectators.
It was very impressive to see the midshipmen in their summer white uniforms march en masse before the game. That’s a spectacle to experience.

I've been to 2 gamesat the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, each a wonderful memory. There is so much history to see, I suggest you go early to see all the memorials and to park.... lots of traffic.The first game I was privileged with tailgating with some Navy friends who's parents were Admirals. I'll never forget that day... just an amazing time with amazing people. The first game we bought tickets on the visitor side, bottom right.... next to the cannon. Oh boy, what an experience. The second game we ubered to.the Stadium, don't do that. You'll have to walk anyway. No tailgating so straight to the vendors.. sitting on the Navy side this game. Lots of good and beverage options, Navy Academy gear for sale inside. Don't miss out... by tickets to the 50/50 for a good cause. Seats are hard, bring a cushion. Choice of steps or a walkway. Food on all levels as well as bathrooms. Sun can get hot... bring a hat. A wonderful time and memories to last a life time.

Went to my first college football game! GO NAVY! Was a blast! Stadium is huge! Tons of food options. Lots of restrooms. Staff was very helpful trying to find your seats and anything else you may need. Prices are high but that's expected at places like that. You can take in water bottles if they are not opened. That's a big deal cuz a bottle if water in therr is 7 bucks. We seen so many people having to empty theirs and toss them cuz they was pre opened. So make sure your water bottle is not opened. You can refill it at the water fountain throughout the stadium. Fountain water is pretty cold. Clear bags can be any size really but purses have to be pretty small. I almost didn't get to take mine in. There are plenty of homes along the road that offer parking for around 20. I recommend doing that. We paid 30 to park in a garage and had to walk 20 mins. We would have parked in someone's yard with a 2 min walk if we knew before hand.

The bread service before the meal was excellent...warm, soft bread with a crispy crust and a seasoned butter. We have been waiting to try this restaurant as it always seems so busy. Finally went for lunch today and the customer service was fantastic. We were greeted upon arrival and our server was very friendly. The atmosphere and decor is modern and great as well. This is a great place to socialize.
However the food was very dry, flavorless, and took forever. Chicken club was so dry I could not even get swallow without washing down with water. The lobster roll was overcooked and chewy and the lobster had no flavor or sauce just came with butter. Usually this kind of roll melts in your mouth. I tried the homemade sangria and was also not a fan. It said came with fresh fruits and the only fruit in my glass was a slice of lemon. Again no flavor just tasted like red wine. We ordered wings for an appetizer and they were very good but by the time they came we were so hungry had to scarf them down. My daughter loved her kids meal ( it would be impossible to mess up noodles with butter though). We would have complained but did not want to wait another hour for another sandwich. We will not be back. $100 for lunch is ridiculous especially when we left hungry and disappointed.

First time visit was a pure delight. Stopped in for brunch and was super pleased with the service and the food. I was told by the bartender that the restaurant is a California themed bistro with a Mediterranean flare. She was right. Everything was fresh and simply delicious. We did the tour of Annapolis a week ago and then Baltimore this past weekend. Both cruises were really spectacular. They only slight issue we had on the Baltimore cruise was the front speaker went out during part of the trip so we missed some of the narration but otherwise everything was really good. When I told the captain about the speaker she got the crew working on it and eventually it was fixed. At a friend visiting from France and she loved both experiences. Both captains were really great.

The walking ghost tour was fascinating and entertaining! My kids (ages 9-14) enjoyed it as well. It wasn’t too spooky for them. We learned some Annapolis history while walking around parts of downtown that I’d never really paid attention to. Walking pace was easygoing. Madeleine was an engaging guide! Now I want to learn even more Annapolis history, and thanks to the tour, I have some topics to delve into. I had the pleasure of experiencing the Annapolis Harbor & USNA Cruise. The staff was great and the boat was well equipped and clean. The information shared on the tour was automated but still good content. It was extremely windy so hearing the narration was a bit difficult. But overall a great experience.

We went on a 3 hour fall foilage/three lighthouse cruise. The boat was well maintained, the crew wonderful, and the guide, Scott, was terrific. The fall foilage did not cooperate (no color!), and neither did the weather (small craft warning, big swells, and wind). It was a truly wild day on the bay handled very well by the captain and crew (but a bit rough for some of the folks on board).

After experiencing car troubles on our way to our vacation destination, we found ourselves "stuck" in Annapolis while we waited for our car to be serviced. We decided to embrace the inconvenience and be tourists, so we booked an excursion with Watermark Tours. Booking the tour was very easy and affordable for our family of 5 (especially with the rate of $10/child 11 yo and under)! Upon arrival, check in was effortless and we were informed the tour would be aboard an air conditioned vessel due to that day's excessive heat warning. (We were permitted to bring water bottles aboard but refreshments were available for purchase as well.) The staff were helpful and very friendly, especially the captain who took extra time to appease the very curious brain of our 7 year old (engineer-in-training :) This excursion and walking historical Annapolis made our unexpected stop in Annapolis a memorable inconvenience.

Really nice area to walk and shop. I stopped in at an olive oil shop for some gifts and had lunch at a sushi restaurant. I was there with my wife and two toddlers, the sidewalks are large enough for the double stroller, which was nice. Really enjoyed spending the day it with the family.

It's been very clean and spacious in my experience. I have yet to have an issue looking for places to park. Signage is well spaced to try and create safe spaces for customers to cross to and from the shopping center. They added in electric car charging parking spots a little ways back. Add in the fact that they got some great stores too solid all around experience.

It's local favorite with a good reputation. The slice of white pizza I got wasn't bad but I wasn't impressed considering how much I here about it. I prefer some other places in the Annapolis area so I wouldn't go out of the way to go back. I was at the shopping center and needed something quick.A slice was 4.09. My wife and I took ASA 101 and ASA 102 through the school in Oct 2024. We have “some” sailing experience, but felt like it was time to get the certificates.
The school is conveniently located, and the staff is very friendly. (Who wouldn’t be friendly if your job is sailing every day?). They have a large fleet of Rainbow 24’s and they are in pretty good repair (def better than average for rental boats). Staff is quick to attend to anything that needs something. We sailed a Tartan 27 for the 102 class, and it is very well laid out. My wife is an experienced sailor on dinghies, but she didn’t feel like we would be able to manage a 25’ + boat on our own. After going through the classes together, we feel very confident that we could sail in reasonable conditions (which is exactly what the class description promises, so WELL DONE!)
For the 101 class, we had Andy as our instructor, and we had Jonah for the 102 class. Andy is very thorough and explains everything very clearly, before we go do it. He was patient and provided both corrective coaching as needed and also called out when you were doing something well, which was fantastic. Particularly helpful was running very realistic man-overboard drills in higher wind conditions, since that is one of the worst things one might face on a vessel. He was also particularly calm and patient with a member of our class who was struggling with mastering the physical skills.
Jonah is also a solid coach. He’s much more of an intuitive sailor compared to Andy (i.e. quick to change tactics as the conditions shift). He clearly has a lot of race experience, which was great for the 102 class, where the focus was more on sail trim and maximizing boat performance. Under his watchful eye, I was able to get comfortable putting up and pulling down a spinnaker on my own, with just my wife at the helm. (I sure didn’t think that was going to be a skill I’d acquire this week).
My only ‘complaint’ about the week was that the 102 exam was poorly done. This isn’t the school’s fault- the American Sailing Association writes the exams. Jonah was fair, though, and willing to field questions about how the exam was worded, etc. (My wife passed with an 80. I didn’t pass the 102 exam)
I came into the week thinking “meh, how hard can this be? I’ve done a lot of this stuff before”. I’m *really* glad we took the classes, and I expect we’ll be back for more.

The learning environment was encouraging and supportive, with many opportunities to practice what was taught. What a great experience! This was the 103, Coastal Cruising course and Paul was a fabulous instructor that took his time and we really felt proficient by the end of the course. The whole course is taught on the water on a beautiful 37’ Beneteau Oceanis. Just going out was such a joy that you barely realize you’re in a class! There were only 3 students plus the instructor so very heads on and personal attention. I feel confident now to go out and sail any costal cruiser from 30-39’ on the Bay. My husband and I took the sailing 101 class in 2024. Our class instructor, Steve, was great! On Saturday I was paired with Carrie (I believe that’s her name) for sailing; she was rude and impatient. She was having us do things in the first half of the first day on the water that my husband’s group didn’t practice until the second day of sailing (man overboard drills, etc.). As a completely inexperienced sailor this was a bit overwhelming for me and the two other women in my group. I ended up skipping the final day of the course because of her. My husband’s sailing group was led by Andy who he said was a great instructor and very patient.
My husband continued to go sailing at the school throughout the 2024 season. He enjoyed his sessions here but also noted that the company will charge extra money if you forget to put in your member ID when signing up for the Sunday/Monday sessions. One time, he entered his member ID and there was a processing error in their system, yet they still charged him the ~$27 despite him disputing this.
This year my husband signed up for the sailing 102 course, taking place this weekend. He called a week in advance to see if he could reschedule and take a course later in the summer because of work responsibilities. Photographically speaking it has everything a photographer needs: lots of beauty and natural light! The gardens are perfect for bridal party photos too. This was the absolutely venue of our dreams for our May 2024 wedding! It’s obviously gorgeous and had so many different beautiful areas for photos and guest to enjoy. Kristin was great to work with, very responsive, and really helpful whenever I got overwhelmed or had questions and needed suggestions. I felt very supported but also given plenty of space and time when I needed it.
We really enjoy visiting London Town (even though it’s an hour from where we live) because it’s so peaceful and scenic. We were already sold after the tour and speaking with Kristin, but being able to include our dog in our ceremony and cocktail hour really sealed the deal! Wedding venues are so expensive in general, but I found them to be reasonable and it made me happy to know it was supporting a historical site and museum. I really cannot recommend London Town enough and all of our guests are still raving about it!

We got married at London Town in 0ctober 2022. It is breathtakingly beautiful by the water, and the gardens are so lush. They have beautiful lush trails, perfect for photo spots. The historic house and pier on the water make for great photos spots as well!
Kristen was great with communication and quick to answer any questions. Venues maximum is 300 people. We had 125 people and were able to have everyone outside under the tent for our dinner. Our Dance floor was inside. London Town allows you to make your reception layout your own. There are multiple areas on property to get married at or have your reception. You can’t have open flames or sparklers on property. Venue is pet friendly for ceremony. They have an approved caterer list that can be pricey. We ended up paying about $65 per person not including alcohol. Overall it was the perfect place for our wedding. Perfect mix of modern and garden atmosphere. It was the perfect romantic garden vibe on the water!

We had our Wedding here in January 2023 and I have nothing but positive things to say about this hidden gem! We couldn't have asked for a better venue coordinator than Lynn. She went above and beyond to create the perfect wedding day and a great experience for our guests! She was with us every step of the way and answered my many questions as the wedding day got closer, even helping me to coordinate the arrival times of my vendors and answer their questions. The room was transformed for my wedding day, looked beautiful, and was the perfect size for our 90 person wedding with table sand a dance floor. The venue is wonderful with amazing views of the water/marina. The party space was perfect for our son's Bar Mitzvah of 85 people. Lynn was amazing to work with. This venue has an amazing view of the marina, and their party space is just perfect! We hosted a celebration of life for our dear friend, and there was room to move around (or be seated) both inside and out on the 3rd floor deck. The lighting and sound system were fantastic too. But our favorite part was how wonderful the team, especially Lynn, was to work with in setting this up. She was incredible from the first discussion all the way through the end of the night of the event! It made everything go so smoothly and beautiful for the guests. They have many amenities to help with serving food and drinks for an event, as well as elevator up to the top floor for those that have challenge with stairs. We loved our event here and I would host any special event here again. Highly recommend! Thank you for making our evening SO special, and being so kind and thoughtful every step of the planning!

We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at the Hornor Maritime Center in April and could not have been more pleased with our experience. The venue was a great space to entertain our nearly 70 guests. Our guests first enjoyed drinks on the deck overlooking Back Creek and then dinner inside. Lynn was an amazing coordinator. She assisted us with the planning (even letting us know that certain decorations were available by Hornor for our use) and coordinated with the vendors. She was responsive to our emails and questions in the months leading up to the event. Lynn was on site early the day of the event assisting with set-up and stayed throughout, ensuring that the evening ran smoothly. We were so pleased with our event here and would definitely use this venue again!
