The grounds are beautiful with big oak trees and gardens that feel a little wild but charming. Walking around is free, and if you have time, the house tour is worth it the guides are knowledgeable and bring the history to life.
They also host weddings, events, and even community gatherings here, so it has a nice local feel.
Parking is easy, and there’s even a little coffee spot on-site which makes it a perfect place to spend an afternoon.

Lovely place for an afternoon stroll. Come explore the grounds of this majestic estates, it’s completely free! We visited when all the azaleas, camellias, and jasmine were in bloom so it was entirely lovely! We didn’t get to see the inside of the house since we got there just after the last scheduled tour but from the photos it looks like it would be worth a visit as well. A lot of history in this place from around 100 -115 years ago that is being restored. Unfortunately, some of the gardens look quite neglected and the greenhouses fallen down and unrestored. Other than that, lovely place!

Huge, beautiful plantation with plenty of exhibitions of Old Florida. Although we didn’t go into the museums ($12/person) we enjoyed walking around and taking in the peaceful gardens with the beautiful weather. If I lived in Tallahassee, I would come by and buy the plants and herbs they were selling, they had so many varieties! Can’t wait to come by again.

Visited the Goodwood Museum and Gardens while I was in Tallahassee. Took the tour and loved it. The gentleman who was the tour guide was fantastic... best tour guide I've ever had for a tour like this. I believe he is a member of the restoration committee and had done a great deal of research on the home and its previous owners. Incredibly interesting.

We attended an Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy event at Goodwood Museum, and it was beyond my imagination. Absolutely outstanding performance by everyone, exuding talent and drawing me in to each reading completely. 🖤 The cocktails were divine and the price for a night out with my partner was completely reasonable. I had a baby shower here last weekend and I was very pleased with the cottage and the staff. I cannot recall her name but the staff person was amazing. She assisted us with the decorations when she saw we needed help. And she also helped with the clean up. She was great! I would recommend this place to everyone who would like a nice, historic, clean venue to host a celebration.

Definitely get the tour of the main house. Otherwise it's just a small park. The tour is fantastic! It was about 75 minutes. But you can't take photos inside the main house. Which is very unfortunate. The other buildings are okay. They have been repurposed for offices or storage. So there's nothing to see inside. One of the buildings is being turned into a restaurant. Which I'm looking forward to.

This is a stunning site for a wedding and reception. My daughter and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready at Rose Cottage, then over by the chapel she had a beautiful outdoor wedding before we moved to the barn for the reception.
We hired Dent Ward as our wedding coordinator and she made sure everything moved along smoothly and that it was a low stress process.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this Venue and the venue coordinator, Dent. This property is absolutely stunning and we had the most beautiful wedding here. Dent and her team worked so hard to make our special day the most wonderful it possibly could have been. It STORMED our whole wedding weekend, yet somehow the amazing Dent pulled it off and we were still able to get married under the beautiful oak tree, timed perfectly to avoid even a drop of rain. Some of our outside vendors caused a few hiccups, but superhero Dent stepped in and saved the day and smoothed everything over. This venue is something out of a fairytale and I whole heartedly recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to look no further and book this place! Thank you Shiloh Farm and thank you Dent!

This is THE spot in the panhandle to have a beautiful, rustic wedding. Our nuptials here in February 2020 were incredible. Dent Ward, Shiloh's resident wedding planner, florist, and miracle creater worked tirelessly with Shiloh staff to make our wedding perfect. The barn is spacious and accommodating, ideal for a reception. There are ample decorations and cute baubles to use for any theme. Florist work and other important rentals are on site (so if you choose to rent from Shiloh, no worrying about vendor deliveries!). There are so many ideal amenities with this arborous, wonderful location. Hotels are minutes away for out of town guests as well! We were married outside under one of the huge live oaks, allowing for incredible pictures and unforgettable memories. The team at Shiloh is flexible to work with, attentive to our needs, and really made us both feel special on our big day. My wedding was unforgettable because of Dent Ward and this convenient, affordable, entrancing venue.

An absolutely gorgeous venue! It has a small town feel chapel attached to the reception hall which was an old barn. The director of the facility was amazing! The decor was stunning and fairytale worthy. This venue hands down comes in at the top of my list with its quint chapel and stunning reception hall.

Shiloh Farm was the first stop on our wedding venue search. After touring and meeting with Dent Ward, we were sold immediately on this place. I do not have enough good things to say about this venue and our wedding planner Dent. The property is so beautiful and the barn is breathtaking. We were originally going to have our wedding outside under an oak tree on the property, but it ended up raining on our wedding day. Dent made the transition to the lovely vintage chapel seamless and stress free. Our reception was held in the barn, which had a very elegant and rustic feel to it. My family ended up staying at two of the cottages on the property, and that is where my bridesmaids and I got ready before the wedding. Both of the cottages were charming and convenient. We hired Dent as our wedding planner and I must say she was WONDERFUL. The attention to detail with every part of our wedding was spectacular. She was such a pleasure to work with!! We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day!

Although we had a list of places to tour, Shiloh was the only tour we went on. We just knew! We booked the same day and it was the best possible decision for our wedding. The 65 acres are absolutely stunning and encompasses the best of Tallahassee with the beautiful trees. I knew we would get married under the ancient, sweeping oak tree, but I loved that the historic chapel was on site as a rain option. We ended up doing our first look there and it was very intimate and beautiful. Then, there was the barn space. I love the rustic look and all of the antiques present. My husband, a musician, was sold as soon he saw the huge stage where our band of Nashville musicians would perform all night long. We also booked the adorable Rose Cottage for the entire weekend. We had our rehearsal dinner there, spent the night and got ready with my girls and then spent our first married night together there. I haven’t even gotten to one of the highlights, Dent Ward. Dent was absolutely incredible as a planner. From the moment we met a Shiloh, I felt so welcome by her, like we were old friends. Planning a wedding during 2020 was very hard, but Dent was there reassuring me every step of the way and I ended up having the best day of my life largely because of her. For all of these services and amenities Shiloh is absolutely a steal, but money aside, I would choose Shiloh again and again. This property holds such a special place in my heart. I’m forever grateful to Dent and this beautiful haven.

Glad we found this nice park on our trip to Tallahassee. Lots to do here including hikes, garden walks and some nice photo ops. Even had an encounter with a pretty large silk weaver spider. Apparently they are harmless so no need to worry. Keep moving throughout as we found the hiking trail that goes around the entire park (about 3 miles) when we were ready to leave. The Alligator warnings were concerning, but no different than the bear signs up north, so just stayed alert as we hiked. All in all, highly recommend this park. I would call the hike low on the difficulty scale. Also you probably could bike it as well as it was pretty flat. There was a small entrance fee to the park (~$4 per person).

the parking and map were confusing to figure out :( i spent like 20 mins trying to find parking for the trails and not for the gardens, the directions are really ambiguous on what’s a road for cars and what’s a road for walking/biking. overall there’s not really much to do here unless you pay extra to go to the gardens, but it’s nice to be in nature regardless. i saw a cool bird so it was fine

I came here with a friend to see the Christmas lights during the Elf Night event. The parking wasn't that abundant, but we were able to park in the church lot right next door and walk over. The entry way was nice, very bright and decorated with blue lights. Obviously it was night, so getting an image of the park as a whole was a little difficult, but from what I could tell, it was a nice, quaint place. I enjoyed it, and if you have a family or a significant other that you would like to take out to do something, this would be a great choice to make! It's not too big of a place, and you'll finish up in about 30 minutes or so, but make a few laps around and enjoy yourself for the evening.

It's so much fun . There are so many people, but it seems so organized. We were able to find parking. While we were there there was a wedding being performed in the gazebo. Their weather was cool but not cold. It sprinkled a little but not rait was a perfect night. And if you're a people watcher there was a fun crowd. Families Dressed in their christmas pajamas so cute. Really a place for young and old. They do a beautiful job on they have small areas that have themes. And the camilla bushes were covered in blooms.

This is an excellent place to stop in Tallahassee. It has enough to do to spend the whole day, but it's also small enough to spend just an hour or two and feel like you learned something with your time. Definitely a place to bring the whole family!
The young lady in the Spanish house was especially personable and fun to talk to. Unfortunately, we did not have much time as we were driving through. But as retired military, they let my daughter and I in for free. I hope to learn much more about Florida's history in places like these.

Walked over to The Edison during one of the concert series for Cascades and had a moderate experience. The service wasn’t top notch but it wasn’t horrible. The buffalo chicken dip appetizer was good and my grilled pork chop was good. It wasn’t as juicy as I would’ve desired, slightly on the dry side and the putney wasn’t very thick to coat it. All in all, it wasn’t the worst meal and atmosphere but very in the middle which I don’t prefer for the higher price point. The best part was the view of Cascades and the city line as well as the live music from the amphitheater!

What a beautiful restored building, the interior is just stunning, but we preferred to sit outside because its setting in the park and trail on a sunny day just makes it even better. Service was superb, the waitress even brought more powdered sugar for our beignets when she noticed the kitchen hadn’t put enough, without us asking! Have to love proactive servers. I hated to leave this and our waitress was very sweet but we waited a long time for drinks and had to get our own extra silverware, asked for lemons for our waters to 3 different people and waited a long time on the bill. I tipped her well regardless because she was trying.
The food was not good at all. And we are not foodies by any means or a hard to please crowd. We ordered 3 appetizers. The crab cakes tasted like cat food. The charcuterie board was very sad with nuts from a jar, simple small amounts of cheese and meat- no fruit or olives and more dips and honey than anything. The tuna tar tar was ruined by being put on guacamole. Not avocado slices but very mushy guac. 3 of us got burgers and as a $22 burger especially it was not good at all, dry, plain, bacon not good. No one finished it and we were hungry. The pasta was lackluster and the chicken from the Tuscan chicken pasta was soft gooey and fatty and my adult daughter did not eat any of it. My adult son has the ceasar salad and he said it tasted like dirty sink water (like the iced waters- that's why we wanted the lemons) I'm so sorry but the menu needs a total rehaul and the kitchen staff may need some training. I own several businesses so I hate doing this but otherwise how would you make any changes? I understand this is a corporate restaurant so maybe they could help this franchise.
The location was the main draw and we enjoyed the symphony from our table... Location is everything but for repeat business it also has to be good food especially for a $500 bill.

We had our dream wedding at Golden Eagle. It's a gorgeous venue, with tons of awesome spots for pictures. The layout is excellent. I felt like a princess walking from the bridal suite and down the staircase to meet my family. The food was phenomenal, and it was all prepared there which made planning a lot easier. This place will be immaculate next season. It's obvious tons of work has been put into it this year. New sod is starting to take and fill in all over the course. The new greens are beautiful, albeit a little slow as I'm sure the grounds crew are just letting them mature. I imagine by next April/May they'll be running quick and pure.
All in all, the rest of the course is still in great condition. Tee boxes are solid. Fairways really nice. Didn't end up in a bunker, but they looked good too. Practice area was really good. Grass range (though no driver), putting area is huge, and there's even a small bunker/chipping green.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's going to get a lot better. So I'll update my review then.

Had a wonderful time photographing a wedding at Golden Eagle Country Club. The venue is amazing. There are beautiful views by the lake outside, there are covered areas outside that we used to take pictures in the rain and the large windows in the hall allow plenty of light in so the indoor reception gets great light too. There are rooms upstairs that the couples can use to get ready. I would highly recommend this location and can't wait to photograph my next wedding here!

My husband is a complete gear-head and I swear he could be a tour guide for this museum 😂🥰 we spent an entire day here and he was absolutely ready to go again! 😂 Our daughter loved it too. She's the one who requested to go. There is sooooo much more than automobiles too! Sports memorabilia, antiques, dolls, race boats, boat engines, taxidermy, collectibles, and so much more! It must update/ change frequently too, because our daughter went a year or two ago and there was so much more and new things everywhere that she said they added in since her last trip here. You do get a wristband, so you can leave for lunch and come back if you want to. Definitely plan a full day for this place. Maybe more if you are a gear-head or married to one 😜

Nice collection of cars with several limited production ones in the collection. There's a collection of farm equipment in the back along with a Divco milk truck and a 6 passenger short bus. Upstairs there are more cars, a small motorcycle collection, a NASCAR, mini race boats, and the Batman collection. Then it gets weird. There's outboard motors, model trains, calculators, cash registers, non playable arcade games, creepy dolls, grand pianos, tons of pocket knife displays, golf clubs, baseball memorabilia, football memorabilia, a washing machine, a telephone switchboard, and all kinds of "one man's treasure".

I was excited but also unsure what to expect when we pulled into the parking lot—it looks like just another big building from the outside—but once inside, I was blown away. This place is packed with classic cars, from really early models (like late 1800s) to muscle cars, and even a few Batmobiles. What surprised me most, though, was all the other stuff—vintage cash registers, old typewriters, knives, pianos, even outboard motors. It’s like walking through someone’s massive, quirky collection of Americana.
We spent about 1hr hour here and still didn’t see everything. If you’re even remotely interested in cars, history, or just cool old stuff, this is absolutely worth a visit. The staff was friendly and happy to answer questions, and the place was super clean and well organized. One of those hidden gems you wouldn’t expect in Tallahassee.
They are dog friendly and offer military and senior citizen discounts. They do also have a small gift shop too!

I attended the wedding reception of my lovely niece here at Old Willis Dairy in Tallahassee, Florida. The weather was perfect and the large oak trees and swing added to the romantic ambiance.
The good: Consisting of several white farmhouse type buildings in a great location near downtown, The Old Willis Dairy grounds are beautifully kept. The barn was a quaint, and plenty large enough for dancing or mingling. The outdoor tent was set up in a spot that took advantage of the area. The dinner table were set nicely.
The mediocre: at dinner the servers never returned to refill waters or remove my plate. This may be silly, but the ground was very uneven which made it difficult to walk in heels which most ladies were wearing.
The bad: there is one women’s, one men’s and one communal bathroom. For a party the size of a wedding reception this meant there was usually a several people deep line. The bar was small and slow causing a notable wait for a drink - even coke. I found the management staff to be brusque and not particularly helpful, though the bride had no issue in that regard. Egress and ingress were difficult and not marked.
Bottom line? May not be suited for very large parties.

Close to everything, private, and spacious. Beautiful grounds and buildings - great for pictures! The barn is quaint and cozy and fun place for dancing at the party. Pepper was a helpful and gracious host. We had a great time the day of our son's wedding. We could not have found a better place for the reception.

So fortunate to celebrate my wedding reception at the Old Willis Dairy. All our guests loved it just as much as we did. Staying in the carriage house with my bridesmaids, then waking up at the venue on my wedding morning, was such a special experience. Thank you, Peper, for making it possible! She accommodated my vendors, gave excellent recommendations to help us during the planning process, and was always clear and responsive. I loved the yard games, fire pit, lights in the big oak tree, and loft in the barn. The new ADA bathrooms gave us the peace of mind that our less-able guests were comfortable. We used a trolley to transport our guests so the limited parking (45 cars max) was never an issue and Peper helped us hire a sheriff to increase traffic safety on Centerville road. The venue was immaculate and simply gorgeous. I have to admit, I wanted to keep what I think of as one of Tallahassee's best kept secrets, a secret for just a little longer, so that other brides wouldn't book my absolute favorite venue before me. But now I can't wait to tell everybody about the hidden gem that is the Old Willis Dairy!

I played a CCCC often in college with friends who worked/interned for the FSU PGM program. I hadn’t played since 2011. I played today 12/4/2024 and man was impressed. I work at another club in town so I don’t often play at other clubs but today I was able to get a quick 9 afternoon round in with a buddy who was in town. Paul and Jimmy took care of me like I was the king of The Capital let me tell you! What a beautiful day it was to be out there and Paul notified us that the greens were really rolling fast and oh boy he was right. Frost the night before in Tallahassee, and these greens were like putting on a zambonied NHL rink…but with undulations ever so slightly that have you guessing the absolute correct speed to drain it. I missed all 4 birdie putts. Grounds were amazing. We got to talk to one of the grounds crewman and just told him how great the fairways and greens were, and man were they tough with the speeds and the literal hills on and up to the greens. Hole 1 is one of the clubs memorable holes and oh boy the tee box is a beautiful down hill dog leg right in front of the pool/putting green/range for everyone to see you smash it or duff it haha, day dream hole in Tallahassee. Missed birdie putt unfortunately today.
For the Tallahassee locals. We all know CCCC got slammed by an EF2 tornado this year. The old course isn’t quite the same but the quality of the course is 100 percent there and from my recollection (15 years ago) it’s a better more fresh layout. And I’ll tell ya first hand, a lot less shots off of roots and out of the trees since so many were downed in the tornado. I got a cool pic that I like, its not the best, it doesnt display the greens (best part of the course), but it does show the capitol building which I don’t remember being so easily to see. And some old oaks did survive!

Enjoyed a round of golf with my buddies to start a great weekend in Tallahassee!! Overall, we had a great day with plenty of sunshine, and I hit a few decent shots here and there 😀. The greens are very fast, so ease back a bit on those putts! The only small annoyance was a fairly slow golf cart, and there's a lot of uneven spots on the grounds from stumps, drainage ditches, etc. A great part was the beverage truck that showed up a couple of times with cold drinks, snacks, and friendly staff! I played they’re in a Select-A-Shot tournament. The course was in very good shape. There were a few greens that weren’t quite up to standards, but overall, a very good experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Michael. He said it was his second day, but his customer service was exceptional.

Lovely course and layout. Maintenance can be an issue. The trouble is the way the course is managed.
It’s embarrassing to invite guests out to play when the member guest rate totals more than $80. Member guest rates used to be a benefit that members could offer their non member friends. It’s just not an $80 round in my opinion.
On top of that, the admin has no problem setting up tournaments on back to back weekends while regularity preventing members from booking tee times with little to no notice. On more than one occasion, I had a long standing tee times cancelled without a call and didn’t find out I had been displaced for a tournament until I called to inquire.

Happy to say that the dining room looks excellent, clean and white. The food was delicious! I was especially shocked by the mac n cheese. Our server seemed a bit inexperienced, and I wasn't fond of the only white wine option (Chardonnay - although the server suggested a Rosé as a white wine as well). While I wasn't the one that rented the space, so I can't give my experience in working with the owners. When I got married, my fiancee had called the Women's Club several times, and never heard back.
But, if you DO get in contact with them, and actually get to rent the place, it's quite nice.
I attended a wedding there recently, and I've got to say it was nicer than expected. The space was big, so plenty of options for setup for any event. I liked the stage, which served as an awesome place for the DJ. The dance floor 'area' was right in front of it, which worked out well.

We had our wedding here in 2015 and had a wonderful experience. Not only is the location beautiful (lots of trees, private neighborhood, gorgeous natural lighting, lots of floor space) but the staff was so great with us. They have a kitchen available, dancefloor space, a stage, bathrooms, a foyer, and a side nook where we laid out the food. I couldn't be more pleased. I don't know if this rule is still in place but there was a no open flames rule, but that wasn't a deterrent for us.
SIDE NOTE of how kind the staff was... 2 years later the staff called me up and told me I forgot to deposit my check (safety deposit check) from them, so they wrote me a new one to deposit (roughly $500). That was completely MY mistake and no way were they obligated to remind me, but it was soooooo kind of them to search for me and write one. Great staff!!

The provided buffet style food was pretty good and the venue has a nice aesthetic. Only issues were with loud noises starting during speeches and feedback on the microphone system provided by the venue. The feedback was so bad that the speakers just decided to raise their voice through the whole talk. They campus is absolutely gorgeous and we had a great tour here. The area is really nice as well. I can't complain about the weather either since I was born and raised in Florida and it beats the freezing cold. They have good academics and are well recognized, at least in my perspective and I can't see a valid reason I personally wouldn't want to go here - meaning I think it would be a great school to attend. It's also in the states capital, which for my major is a huge perk.

We've skipped this place on several visits to Tallahassee just due to time constraints but boy did it deliver when we finally made time for it. Our kids LOVED it. It's a perfect mix of history, activities, nature walks, animals and more. It's highly rated for a reason.
The ropes course for kids was very cool. The adult one looks awesome but we didn't get a chance to do it this time.

Well, this new building is nice, well maintained, has many interesting, very informative displays. We'd see important offices (from outside). I think the best visitors' attraction is the 22th floor lookout. The adventure begins with the elevators. I must say this building has a very clever elevator design. Should be ashamed of themselves charging $75 to play 18. It’s either a result of the greens keeper lying on their résumé or decided they would try to maintain it blindfolded. Every green was a rugged mystery…good luck making a putt. Bunkers haven’t been packed likely ever…every lie is a fried egg. About the only good thing going there is the fairway. Likely won’t be back for a while. It’s a shame because the food is great, wait staff is solid and the community makes you want to play the one thing that isn’t maintained.

Cypress had excellent cocktails and food. We decided to get the Ruth Bader Gins-Burg and the Science Fig-tion. Both were great. We were blown away by the lamb chops and the sweet potato gnocchi and crab cakes were excellent. The low boil bouillabaisse was not what we we were hoping for, not the level we usually have, so we wouldn't get it again, but all the other food was excellent. We had a wonderful dinner at Cypress. They have a valet outside if it gets really busy so it’s very convenient. It was very close to our hotel and I saw the high ratings so we thought we give it a chance. The waiter was very professional and when asked which items he preferred, he gave us honest answers. We started with the pork cheeks appetizer which was sublime. It was so tender and delicious. We both got the hanger steak, which was perfectly seasoned and even had a little bit of a kick to it. The mashed potatoes were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I've been here a good many times, yet I never realized the private room just behind the reception desk - The Peacock Boardroom.
My lovely wife arranged for my 50th birthday dinner here - it accommodated family and friends and was a very nice venue.
Servers were on top of their game, and the menu offered solid options for everyone.
For special events and occasions, I would certainly recommend the private room here.

(one aspect did stand out - and that was the 20% service charge that was included (I've given up commenting about the 20% part long ago...) and it was that my wife had a conversation with one of the servers regarding this, asking if that was the same as the tip. My wife got the impression that it wasn't necessarily the tip because it was split up between everyone working it (most of us recognize that pooling tips in these circumstances is what is correctly done). Nonetheless, I arrived at the conversation towards the tail end of it, where I saw my wife looking for cash and I simply handed the server a C-note not fully realizing the conversation previously - which he certainly accepted graciously. This means that the party's tip overall came to $188. Certainly a handsome (40%) gratuity, all attributed to a very murky explanation of the 20% included service charge. My suggestion for the management here would be to coach the servers on a clearer way to explain the service charge in future events when it is questioned.).

They haven’t been keeping the online calendar up to date, so you have to call or go by to see who is coming up next. Usually entertainers will have their own posts, so fans know when and where to be. Although it's address does take you a little off the beaten path, this shop is in a artsy area surrounded by all kinds of interesting establishments. The place was clean, all items were displayed in such a fashion to allow for ease of inspection before purchase and the proprietors were very personable. I read the prior reviews and I would have to disagree with the statements regarding an "odor", I was in there for quite awhile taking my time to look at things and research. We were extremely pleased with the consultation and service we received from Diane Bardhi and her team at Sweet Tea Events! All of the vendors that she recommended for photography, hair and makeup, cake, limosine and the DJ were top notch! She worked closely with the Event Coordinator at the Marriott Hotel where we hosted the reception to ensure that our requests were received and agreed upon. Diane was a good sounding board when deciding what was important to "buy up" on and what was ok to keep "standard". She also coordinated with the wedding planners at the church. We were from out of town so it was early important that we had someone we could trust and count on to be on site for us. Had lunch by the boat ramp, watched the college kids crew, which was my first experience of seeing the work in unison in thos boats that are nearly 30' long very shallow prfile an still manges to hold. I felt like i slipped back to Wisconsin where we used to vacation since the place was natural, clean and when i was there it was serene, since there were inly abfew people in the park, unlike as I believe its so beatiful and like an oasis so its mre than likely avfamily filled weekend getaway for manybin the tally Area.
