The ambiance is lovely and the staff was polite and courteous. We ordered the thar special mutton and it was delicious. The mutton was succulent and well cooked. The flavours of the ghee and spices was coming through beautifully. We ordered the Naan to go with the gravy and it was good too. For desert we got the caramel custard which was nice as it was not too sweet. Definitely a must visit to try some really good food!

The restaurant is just adjacent to mandir palace (ITC welcome heritage). It was christmas day when we visited, not too full and seating was easily available. Food took some time to arrive. No major complains. We had heard a lot about laal maas, but didn't find anything spl. and also appeared that food colouring has been used. The soups ordered were not upto the mark. Naan & other items were ok. The Christmas cake was complementary, kids liked it. As the main sitting area is not on ground floor, those having knee or other walking issues will have difficulty. That's common issue across Jaisalmer.
