Apology & explanation came the next day though. Apparently "lack of sleep (3 hrs) & parents distracting staff" as the reason this happend. How does a 3 year old make it past 1 staff member let alone 6 & end up in the parking lot without someone noticing? This should have never happend. 3 gym staff/3 front desk staff. He could have gotten hit by a car. Disclaimer: This incident happend 3 years ago & was not recent. The JCC has since updated their security system & I'm hoping they made improvements to keep kids safer. I'm not sure what improvements they've made but... it goes without saying that it seems to me that the JCC needs to focus on more staff training, having stricter protocols put in place.
