There was only one slight low ceiling height area I noticed but still over 6’. The mine walk was all on packed ground - sloped but stable. The flat areas had water and some mud like areas but I was able to come out clean. Had a jacket but did not use was very comfortable - high 90’s outside - 60’s in mine , was great. Outside of the mine there are numerous exhibits to take in. Large replica mining town can be explored- I felt like I was on a movie set. If taking the tour I would plan on a 3 hour stay. Large gift shop as well. Plenty of parking. We didn’t purchase tour tickets in advance but I would recommend it as we were lucky to make the last tour of the day.

Downstairs they have it set up exactly as it was when open for business. All of the artifacts, packages of herbs and so many items, are original artifacts from this mercantile.
