The setting is perfect, with only steps to the pool, and beyond that to the beach. We were without a car but it's only about a 10-12 minute walk along the beach into the main part of Samara. The unit was very clean and well equipped. The king bed was comfortable and even without AC, we had no issues as the ceiling fans and windows allow the room to cool down. The fold down bed in the main part of the unit was perfect for our two young kids. We loved sitting on the patio and chatting with other guests and Jay was very helpful. We weren't 5 minutes away from shore when our captain spotted a humpback whale, and we were able to get a great close-up view. We then spotted a pod of dolphins and spent some time with them. Then we saw manta rays! We could have stopped there and we would have been thrilled. But then the fishing was amazing. Our kids pulled in fish after fish and had a great time.
