We then set off in a clean and comfortable car stocked with water for our day around the city. NOTE: bring your appetite!! We stopped off at a typical “milk bar” where fresh milk is sold, along with snacks of chapati. We also had a lunch of traditional foods, which was SO MUCH FOOD, lol! Everything was delicious and fresh. There’s also a stop at a beautiful coffee shop later in the afternoon. Eric was incredibly kind and patient with my kids, as well as open to thoroughly answering every question I posed along the way. We visited the market, a beautiful lookout point from Mount Kigali, several stops showcasing murals in the city, and the last stop is the genocide memorial.
