We had very informative tour guides explaining about the house and it's uses and loved the painstakingly restored magnificent yellow dress. At the adjoining Brough House, a gold coin let us look at an interesting exhibition of exquisite examples of lace, crochet work and fashions through various periods. Afterwards it was delightful to have morning tea served by more helpful volunteers, on the lawn under the trees in the pretty garden. Highly recommend these two houses, a lovely experience.

Phil went out of his way to tell us about the wines and vinyard and even brought us down to the shed to show us the wine making process in the barn.
