Laundry facilities leave a lot to be desired, there are usually more out of order machines than working. Which leaves not many machines for all the people staying there. Calling the non emergency number to the police is a waste of time since you can let it ring for 20 minutes and they will not answer. And calling 911 seems not appropriate.
