There is also grassy areas with a hill for a fun game of tag and even kick ball. There are numerous benches and picnic tables surrounding the playground and a covered pavilion for parties. Nearby is a restroom with changing tables and water bottle filling station/drinking fountain. Outside of the fenced enclosure is a fitness exercise center by the pond. The best part of this park is the natural shade provided by the oak trees! At the end of July I felt comfortable in the shade and didn’t feel overheated. This playground has slides, swings (both baby ones and big kids ones), towers and a lot of hideouts.
