She's celiac her self so all of her food is delicious I had so many pastries mankoush, and spinach pies attached down below ( her name artistan celiac bakery by gege).

I visited badaro urban farmers market after a long period. A lot happened since, in the country.
I describe in few lines , my first impact when i entered, and what , in my own opinion ,it needs today.
This market kept despite everything its essence : Authentic , artisanal products by local guenuine proactive producers.
What is needed ?
•A platform that highlight beautifully on these people, in terms of story telling, over the media, pictures, videos..(it is inspiring)
•An animation while the market is happening on sunday, that engage the community.
•Creative initiatives that gather people , and pour funds into the market to sustain itself in a solid way.
•Good dynamic organizationnal team where each task is taken care by a group , and all groups reconnect to put in commun for the betterment of a great collaboration.
•A part volunteering wich is great, i find important to have a couple of paid employees that insure tasks related to design "funds projects resourcing" for the market to keep its sustainability, and bring novelty to its equipement and members.
All, can start by knowing what type of ressources at hand exist today , how can we use those ressources in an efficient way, how to add beauty and culture to the market.

The best is however the range of restaurants available. There are also some very good and cheap coffee/Kahwa kiosks on the sidewalks where you can stop by for some people watching

The best food and meal of our entire Middle East trip! Everything was just so fresh and flavorful, each mezze and dish stood out on its own. I loved the purslane salad with the roasted cauliflower as well as the other salads, they also offer this special thin flat bread as well as the regular pita bread which is not as thin nor as chewy. Bread was great with the stews. The roast beef was so delicious cooked in this pomegranate sauce. Yum! Desserts were outstanding too with so many traditional Lebanese treats to choose from. All home made. The executive chef explained everything to us and helped to serve us so we would know how to eat certain things properly together. Such amazing service and pride in this bright varied cuisine. I would come back to Beirut for this place alone and eat here everyday since some of the food items change daily. If you love food and want to get a taste of everything at it's best then you must eat here! Nothing will ever come close in America or any future trip sadly.

The worst experience ever. I went with my son to see Roberto Carlos during OMT Beirut Sports Festival on may 3rd, 2025. At the entrance I asked the parking valet employee if my son can see and take a picture with Roberto carles. Answer was yes, but for a $100. What a bargain and I said sure let's do that. The parking isn't as large as it should be, the last event we attended we were lucky to find a free space.
Hosted events are pretty fun to see, the last Christmas event was about used items and creative artwork homemade. The prices were very reasonable and so much eye candy.

We have already been to the same shop in Batroun and a friend tried their products but I didn't particularly pay attention. This time we used the hand soap in a restaurant and checked the source cos the perfume was very nice and delicate and turned out from Khan al saboun. We tried several products and everything was good and well tolerated so we will be coming back for more
