This postpartum working mom had the best facial experience ever here! Athena was so great - I really appreciated the care she took to explain what she was doing and why/the benefits. It was a relaxing experience as well. My skin looks and feels great even days after my appointment. I was looking for a facial spa that puts skin health (it is our body’s first barrier after all) above injectables and Botox etc. This is that place! Can’t wait to keep coming here.

I've visited Toska about five times now. The first three appointments were awesome - highly individualized, prescribed skin care with a very friendly provider who walked me through everything she was doing each time so I knew what my skin needed and how she was addressing it. The receptionists are always friendly and efficient. My last two appointments were a little inconsistent with the first three. My first provider had moved away so was trying new people. These last couple providers were a bit more stoic and felt less willing to share knowledge, even with an up-sell. My skin looked great after the appointment but the service experience could have been more relaxing and hospitable at the luxury prices charged. I felt a little "in the dark" about what was happening and would've loved a little warning about the bright red lights on my eyes or how far along we were into the manual extractions. It wasn't as relaxing as I'd desired for my pre-wedding facial.

Everything about this experience was incredible. From the moment I walked into the spa, I was warmly welcomed by the ladies at the front counter. Jaimee, who I spoke with on the phone prior, was very informative about the treatments offered, as I was not quite sure what I needed for my skin. Isabella, my esthetician, did an in depth consultation with my skin type, current products used and what I'm looking to see in the future. Upon taking all this information, I was treated with extensive care and developed technology that complemented my skin. This woman was nothing less than a miracle worker. I left feeling elated and would recommend her and this spa to anyone who is looking for nothing but the best.

The spa itself is BEAUTIFUL. So nicely decorated.
They offer facials exclusively but there are different ones to choose from depending on your needs and skin type. I got the purifying and she did microdermabrasion and put different products on it.
I left feeling so refreshed! It took about 30 minutes and was soooo relaxing the whole time. I had Olivia and she was really good!
The beds are next to each other in the big room but it's peaceful- the estheticians don't excessively talk, so I could just relax and listen to the soft music.
I saw another review about the over selling of products , so I was worried about that. I noticed that after every facial, they bring each customer over to the product area and give them recommendations. I got recommendations on my skin type but I did not feel like I was being over sold. She had 4 products, explained them and just put them up at the desk when I was checking out. He asked if I wanted to purchase them but I never felt pushed into buying anything.
It is a little pricy but it had a luxury feel and I think they did a good job. Everyone was super nice and they gave me lemon water in a glass while I was waiting.
I may not return as frequently as they recommend due to the price, but I would go back!

My friend and I got a facial today and let me just say it was an experience, and not a luxurious one. It was pretty comical to be honest. I have never paid 135 dollars for a 20 minute facial in my life especially to be laid in a bed in the open lobby for God and everyone to watch. I’ve been to many different places across the country to get facials, but no one ever gave me an answer to my skin issues. I’ve been having small bumps on my skin for a while, and previous aestheticians kept saying I should just cleanse and exfoliate more…
TOSKA SPA finally gave me the real reason: my skin is highly dehydrated and the products i’ve been using were not for my skin type.
My aesthetician (unfortunately I forgot her name) recommended new products. I’ve been using them for 2 weeks and my bumps are almost gone!!!
Highly recommend this place. And it’s worth the money for how well educated the staff is. Of course, the space is also beautiful.
Note: all the basic facials do NOT happen in a private or closed room. At first it felt weird to me to be treated in an open area with others, but during my facial I did not mind at all.

All the classes I have taken have been exceptional and unique. I have enjoyed all the teachers that I have so far had an opportunity to take class either at the current studio or in the past: Elizabeth, Tracy, Amanda, Mark, Jenn, Allison, Andrea, and Brooks. The teachers put so much of themselves into making each class a wonderful experience. I can't wait to try more class types and to meet the other teachers. This is truly a special studio and I can't recommend it enough.

Highly recommend the signature body spa massage!! By divine coincidence, I managed to get one of the few available spots available on the calendar and the service was top/tier. Laura took great care of me - THANK YOU! She was knowledgeable, professional and applied the perfect amount of pressure. I felt safe to allow a full scalp massage and she didn’t disappoint. I appreciated that Laura was also observant and allowed me the quiet time that I needed during the service to reflect and clear my energy. They also host beautiful sound baths, meditation classes, and workshops that make the experience even richer. What I appreciate most is that the yoga here isn’t hot or about power – it’s mindful, therapeutic, and truly supportive. The community is AMAZING and so welcoming.
The spa side is equally wonderful. I’ve had both facials and massages with different practitioners, and each one has been excellent. Every service feels thoughtful and deeply restorative.

I've been to Palestra 3-4 times over the past year now, and every time I always come back to this being the BEST spa in Charlotte.
This specific time I had a session with Andrea Jauregui. I want to specifically call her out because it may have been the best massage I've ever had. She was so intuitive to what my body needed, and I didn't have to tell her where to focus, because it was like experiencing a true master in her craft. As one point, she mentioned that she normally keeps her eyes closed and does her work along with your body, which I find pure magic. I've never heard anyone work this way, but I was HERE FOR IT. I could feel her passion for this industry with every knot she worked out. I greatly appreciated her skillset and I immediately was able to relax and let go of the stress that I carry in my upper shoulders / back. I would highly recommend Andrea and Palestra spa.

I booked the Head to Toe package for $320. I was first appointment of the day, and was taken back 15 minutes late. Massage was good, but massage room was very crowded, had another massage table literally crammed in the room up against the wall being stored there - did not give a relaxing vibe. There was not a chair to sit on, just a square ottoman - atmosphere very odd.
Package is advertised with lavender and mint for scalp massage which was not available for my massage. Also massage table not heated. There was a strawberry basil aromatherapy at the beginning of massage. The scent was nice, but you just smelled it at beginning, it wasn't placed on a tissue under the headrest so you could smell it throughout the massage.
Package also advertised you would receive a massage with hot stones or bamboo, so I took that to mean I would pick one of the two. I just received hot stones, bamboo choice not offered. I had never had a massage with bamboo so disappointed that wasn't an option as advertised.
Also not given a towel to wipe off oil at end of massage which I thought was odd. They offer a 'glass of water' rather than bottled water, so you would have to stay there to drink it after your massage rather than taking a bottled water with you.

Beyond unimpressed by the lash lift! I booked through class pass and the whole process was not comfortable, the woman kept saying she usually brings her own stuff because she doesn’t like what palestra provides. Anyways, when she showed me my lashes there was a very minimal SLIGHT lift to them and at that point we were 20 minutes over the allotted time and I just got up and left. The more I looked at my lashes throughout the day, they are not any better than when I walked in. The crazy part is I have very long, nice eyelashes. I just wanted them to look extra nice for the holidays! This did nothing for me whatsoever and a waste of 45 credits on ClassPass. I’m convinced this woman has JUST been trained in this or something. No after care instructions were given whatsoever, nothing. I’ve had dried glue all over my lid the entire day as well. Just really disappointing - I recommend going to a specialist who does lash lifts and not booking this service here

I had a male therapist who was absolutely amazing. I have severe degenerative disc disease in my back, but he knew exactly how much pressure would relieve the pain and relax my nerves. The service was great, the stylist was very nice but my hairstyle of curls came apart in less than 15 minutes. That’s 150 dollars plus 40 in tips lost. A very luxurious experience from beginning to end!
Upon arrival to the very tasteful reception area the check in process was quick and efficient. I was offered wine, champagne, or water once checked in. Being a little early in the day, I took a water.
I was early for my appointment, and once checked in and settled, my therapist Crystal took me back to my treatment room and left so I could undress to my comfort level and get situated under the (very high quality) sheet.
The massage table was more comfortable than most, with thick padding and the usual adjustable “donut” for my face at the head of the table. The table was height adjustable and I was offered a choice of the table being heated or unheated (I elected for the heat to be on).
Crystal was an incredibly thorough and attentive masseuse, asking if I had any areas I wished her to focus on (right shoulder). The massage commenced with my inhaling a wonderfully relaxing eucalyptus oil, and then Crystal proceeded to work on me. I had elected a 50 minute massage and at no point did my treatment feel rushed. My massage was the perfect balance of relaxing and therapeutic, and I definitely felt better for it, my sore spots having been worked out.
I thoroughly recommend Tyme Day Spa and next time I am in the area I’ll be booking an 80 minute treatment room and requesting Crystal as my therapist.

To be fair my first 2 massages were great so great that after my first massage I signed up for a membership. I’ve tried for days to get in contact with this spa to update my payment and reschedule my appointment. After several failed attempts I decided I wanted to cancel my membership and an upcoming appointment. I called multiple times with no answer, and even left a voicemail clearly stating that I needed to cancel more than 24 hours prior as the owner said out of her own mouth I had to do. Despite that, they marked my appointment as a no show and they still attempted to withdraw money from my account without my authorization multiple times!
The lack of communication and disregard for customer requests is extremely unprofessional. That is my primary reason for not spending my money here. I should not have to chase a business down just to cancel a service. Please be aware of their poor responsiveness and billing practices. I would not recommend this spa based on my experience.

This spa is my absolute favorite!! I’ve been here at least a handful of times at this point. Few times with my husband, gone with friends, and just by myself. All were fantastic experiences! Everyone on this team is amazing! The minute you walk in, you feel that sense of relaxation and contentment. The front desk team is wonderful. The waiting areas are relaxing and comfortable. The tea is delicious! I am a huge fan of Himalayan salt and they have tons of lamps throughout the spa (which you can buy and they are a great deal!) and the Himalayan salt room is amazing!!
I can also feel the fun and camaraderie this team has working together. They help each other out and make sure every client has a great experience as a team.
I haven’t had a chance to try out the new rooftop space but it looks cool!
All the amenities and services are amazing and very reasonably priced. Love the spa packages!

This was such a luxurious experience! The staff and therapist were all amazing. Sidney you're a rock star and thank you so much for accommodating us last minute. We were greeted immediately and given a walk through of what to expect during our session. The locker rooms and showers were spacious and spotless. We were taken to the vip welcome/quiet room and given drinks and a tray of fruit, cookies, and other snacks while completing our introductory forms. The massage room was huge with a bathing tub and heated therapy beds. I loved that the sheets weren't white. Don't ask why. I just love the darker sheets. The massage itself was amazing and relaxing. This would be an absolute 5 star if not for one critique. I would definitely have a discussion about using the lotion directly from the pump bottle. Not doing that is unsanitary. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend going here for an amazing spa experience.

I highly recommend OM Spa. The staff is wonderful. Not only for Chiropractic and massage but also for healing my meniscus and achilles tendon. Both were partially torn so at Dr. E's suggestion I decided to try the Laser Treatment. It only takes 5 minutes per treatment. After several treatments over a period of 5 months, I noticed that both were healing and feeling great. The cost per treatment is also very reasonable. The pain is no longer an issue and I'll do it again should I have any other problems in the future.

Ally was absolutely amazing. I got a Swedish 80 min massage and it was the best ever. Massages aren’t my favorite, but I decided to try it one more time. She made me feel so comfortable and she was very welcoming and kind. Her services were amazing. She focused on the areas I wanted more, while still being able to give the full body massage. I visited this spa this past weekend while I was a guest at the Embassy Convention Center in Concord, NC. This spa is a very nice hidden gem! They’ve been here for 7 years and I never knew about it. They are clean and very accommodating. After checking in, you’re taken to the locker room that is nicely decorated and given a plush robe and slides to change in. After changing, you wait in the lounge. It’s clean, quiet and the aroma of diffusers fill the air to the sound of a beautiful water fall. It’s dimly lit and tranquil music plays while you wait. Then after a few minutes you’re taken to a room for your service. There’s a jacuzzi in the room and large massage tables awaiting you. The sheets and blankets are plush and warm. It’s easy to relax in there. I scheduled a Swedish massage and added the sea salt hot rocks. Before your appointment, they have you complete an intake form to let the therapist know of any conditions they need to be made aware of. I had Jennifer as my massage therapist and she was great! She had gentle hands but put pressure on my muscles like I needed.
After the 60 min massage, I went into the sauna to detox because she said it helps with inflammation. They served a glass of wine and bottled water. They also have fruit and teas.
It was a great experience and they’re all so thoughtful. It’s a great place to go unwind if you want a one-time session or you can sign up for membership that’s $80/month.
Plus, you don’t have to be a guest at the hotel to visit the spa. I’m definitely going back!

She worked my shoulders, upper back, upper chest, neck, scalp, and jaw. While it was an intense massage because there was a tremendous amount of tension in my neck and jaw, it was amazing. I have been seeing Tina since 2020. While I have seen to Tina for a Swedish, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, and Aromatherapy massage - the prenatal massages are making me leave this review.
Ladies if you are expecting (after your first trimester) or fellas if your wifey is expecting, I cannot recommend the prenatal massage enough. I have had it with both of my pregnancies, in 2020 and now in 2025 and it is seriously one of the most relaxing experiences.
Tina puts so much love into all of her massages, but I feel like the prenatal massages include an extra special layer. She is very careful to position you in ways that are safe for pregnancy, provides several pads and pillows for additional support and incorporates hot stones. She also gave particular attention to my hips, lower back and feet, which if you’ve ever been pregnant, you know these are the hot spots.
I also try to see Tina for a prenatal during my second trimester and I will return during my third!
Also wanna give a shoutout to the Aromatherapy massage. I went to see Tina a couple of years ago during peak allergy season and even though I had booked a Swedish massage, she noticed I was stuffy and had the sniffles and immediately pulled out the oils. She is amazing!!!

We arrived at Dawn's office and she was very welcoming and friendly. Her office is very cozy and she has it set up with a privacy area for the massage table and a comfortable chair to sit in if you are two like we were.
She has mood lights and relaxing meditation music.
Dawn asks you beforehand if there are any problem areas you want her to focus on and makes you very comfortable on the table so she can get started.
She does a great job truly getting into the deep tissue and pressure points, and never seems to rush through the motions.
She also does a fantastic job with the foot massage too.
The one con is that you can not make an appointment on the weekend, but you can get an appointment as late as 6:15p during the week. She does book up fairly quickly, and we had to make our appointment at least 6 weeks out to get a spot.
It is well worth it. I highly recommend Dawn if you are interested in a great deep tissue massage.
