The outside view of the hotel is gorgeous but walking inside is incredible. The check in staff was personable and friendly. The room was smaller than anticipated but cozy with plenty of room for luggage. The bathroom could use some work, definitely shows heavier wear and tear but it is an old building. Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant on site, Bridgeman’s Chophouse. It is a must if you are staying here. Having starbucks on site is also a huge plus. Every area of the hotel I encountered was extremely clean. While sleeping the room was loud from the outside, you can hear everything but it didn’t bother me. Overall would recommend and come back! You must pay for parking which is fine but I paid using the parking service app. The hotel also added it to my bill. Mistakes happen, no problem. I go to the front desk to have it removed and the front desk staff eleas rude and simple seemed annoyed that I was asking for it being removed (even after showing proof I paid via the service app). She first said she could not print a new bill for me. I pressed the issue and then it magically worked but the parking was still there. After huffing and rolling her eyes, she tries again and still did not remove it. I show her again and she turns to a coworker with "come fix this for him". We stayed in Rm 10, and the only thing we would say to help improve our stay would to have maintenance check the shower door, it is not sealed well and saturated our shower carpet, which was not a nice experience on our feet. I will definitely check out the private rooms if visiting the area with friends and family! The bathrooms are well kept by their lovely staff! I thought 2 showers and stalls would cause a line however everyone was on their own time. If you forget toiletries they do have some for sale. I believe the soap is local but I didn't check out what all they offer. I do enjoy locations that are eco friendly and support local! Also they do offer free parking to their guests which I was oh so happy about since I thought last minute I would have to also accommodate for that.
