The resort is beautiful and situated on the best part of Palm Beach and across the street from many food and entertainment options should you opt to leave the resort. The reservation system for the palapas was easy and straightforward, as was booking activities like paddle boarding. The beach is clean and expansive. I walked along the beach and the ocean-side sidewalk between the Hilton and other neighboring resorts and would not choose to stay at the Marriott, Ritz or St. Regis based on their beach conditions. I did not use the pool, but it looked like a nice option for families with small kids. The gym is brand new and well-equipped, though cramped. If trying to use weights, you’ll be bumping into people. The resort was beautiful and clean.Our room was not ready at check in (which was not a problem as we were enjoying the beach and cocktails ) and they gave us $175.00 credit . The new guest rooms were a great size with a big bathroom and a beautiful balcony . The staff could not have been better. John and Javier at the towel stand were so helpful and friendly . The fish tacos and happy hour cocktails were delish ! Everyone was amazing . There were no negatives . We will definitely be back and will only stay here .

The hotel is nice, a little dated and inconsistent on furnishings (more on that later), but overall the grounds are good, the restaurant, pools and bars are decent. The staff is good too. The three stars comes from the fact that our family suite is bombarded by noise, and not from the resort; it comes from across the street. The nightclub across the way cranks up the bass and because the family suites are on that side, you hear it once it cranks up till 1am. You also get to feel it since it’s mostly the bass line. To Hyatt’s credit, we did complain after 4 nights and they switched us to the opposite side suite on the 8th floor (Even numbered side to odd) to put us a little farther away, but at 9:30pm now, I hear it thumping away and it makes it hard to sleep. This was my first ever time traveling to Aruba and I was with my parents. We had flown there to be a part of my cousin's destination wedding. Yes, compared to what we are used to, it was a bit pricey (and we only had a room - we did not have all inclusive or even the daily breakfast buffet) but for Aruba, it was actually on the cheaper side. Besides that, the staff was absolutely wonderful. Anything that my parents or I needed, whether it be guidance on where to eat, how to get around to the different activities my cousin had planned for us, or really anything, they were more than happy to help. Their friendliness never felt fake and they made the resort feel like every time we came back, it was like we were coming home. We will especially miss Kyle, who would always greet us with a huge smile and ask us all about how our day went...as well as Humberto, who was the exact same. He had told us that he had been working there since 1981 and you could tell that he never lost any love or pride in his job. The two of them truly stood out to us and I HIGHLY recommend finding them if you plan to stay there ;-)

They didn’t do anything special for our honeymoon. We paid for the Elite membership, so were quickly checked into our room. We were put in the smaller building, directly behind the Elite pool. When we got into our room we were very under impressed. The room wasn’t filthy, but it didn’t feel clean. There were visible stains on the pillows thru the pillow cases. There were little hairs between the glass on table tops. The curtain wouldn’t close all of the way. The picture on the wall was broken. It was freezing in our room & we turned the temp up multiple times, but it ran constantly. We only had 2 sheets on our bed & we had to ask 3 times before we received a blanket. Oh & the bed was broken against the headboard when we arrived. Did I mention that we were on our honeymoon? Anyway, the room was very subpar. On the positive side… the Elite pool was nice. The beach was nice, but they don’t provide drink service on the beach. Most of food we had was good… the buffets were good & the Elite restaurant was good. The other specialty restaurants, like the steakhouse & Italian, sucked. The drinks were typically good, but they weren’t quick to refill. (원문) Aruba is awesome and an island I highly recommend. This resort is really good for the all inclusive package, however there are parts of the hotel that need to be upgraded as they are outdated. I gave less stars for my room as we were with a group of couples and all requested king beds and we’re all given rooms with two single beds. Regarding the restaurants, not being able to make reservations for dinner is a pain, the process for dinner does not make any sense, as you have to wait to get a buzzer or get in line very early. Even though you can tell the host a timeframe of when you want to eat. Either way that helped us decide we would leave the resort for dinner which ended up being so much better as Aruba is so safe and easy to get around. We would stay here again with these expectations. The breakfast and lunch buffets are so good with so many options. The beach is gorgeous and super close to the hotel so you can go back and forth to the pool bar. The beach is kept clean as is the rest of the resort including the main pool. Taxis are a bit expensive because there is no meter or set price they just tell you number for cash only. But they are very easy to get and for that it makes it worth it. I hope you go to Aruba and enjoy yourself!

The cleaning staff were visible at all hours of the day in the public areas. Management was very visible in all areas overseeing the various areas and speaking with the guests. Each Friday evening, there is a "Riu Party" with a "white" or "neon" shirt theme on alternating weeks--a fun evening. We found the food to be plentiful and very appetizing, be it in the buffet or the specialty restaurants. The only thing I didn't like was you couldn't make any reservations for any of the specialty restaurants. We were able to eat at all the restaurants accept the steakhouse. People lined up an hour or more before it opened, so we didn't bother to wait that long for the steakhouse. The Arubian restaurant was our favorite. The Italian was our least favorite. What is nice is that you are allowed to go to the sister hotel next door to eat and drink as well. The hotel is withing walking distance to shops and other restaurants you could pay extra for. The beaches are public, but you didn't have pan handlers or vendors trying to sell you something as they do in the DR and Jamaica. This hotel is adults only, so you have lots of loud music at the pool, not so much at the sister hotel which includes children. You need to get up early to reserve a spot on the beach. We had no problem setting up near the pool. The De Palm tours are right in the hotel and offer amazing ventures around the island. I would suggest the Best of Aruba by bus and the Baby beach, caves and Natural Pool Off Road safari.

We stayed in the Junior Suite Ocean View room for a week in November 2025. The pool was very clean, with poolside service bringing you drinks and fresh fruit kabobs. EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THAT THEY ALLOW SMOKING AT THE POOL! Many guests were sitting in chairs or in the water WITH CIGARETTES LIT. My husband and I are not smokers and found this to be one of the worst qualities of this hotel. You cannot reserve pool chairs, and there were many rude guests who went down right when the pool opened and put their towels on the chairs and left - just to ensure they had the chairs they wanted. This made it difficult to find seating every day. Some reviews mention the entertainment wasn’t very good, it wasn’t bad it was just minimal. We didn’t want a bunch of loud music or noises anyway. The beach was similar to the pool in terms of service, very clean and beautiful. Also very packed. Aruba does not have private beaches so anyone can come to the Riu beach. From the moment you get to the resort you’re greeted by friendly + helpful staff, everyone here is so accommodating! Our room overlooked the water and while some reviews may say the rooms aren’t totally up to date - don’t believe that nonsense! you don’t need much with all of the beauty that is steps away!! We were happy to have a clean shower and cozy bed to crash in after the days of fun in the sun. All of the restaurants here are impeccable from food to service - and getting access to the Tamarijn next door is a huge bonus! Shuttles to take you to and from, always taxis waiting to take you to your next adventure off the resort. The staff here works HARD to keep this place clean and running and it shows. Staying at the Divi was the perfect choice, let it be yours too!!! We will absolutely be back!

We arrived around 6pm along with other guests. There was only one staff member working the reception area which made for a long check-in. I can understand being overwhelmed with a group of guests all trying to check in, but this person was not overly pleasant, seemed flustered and could not get us on our way fast enough. When we asked where to find our room, we were told "it's right over there around the corner." Having never been there and not knowing the layout of the resort, this was disheartening. I will say throughout our stay I did witness other guests being guided by bellmen who carried their luggage to their room upon check in. We carried our own luggage and eventually found our room. The room itself was nothing special at all, pretty basic actually. Our third floor room did have a decent view of the ocean, though. There were no drinks in the room, only water bottles we would need to fill ourselves. Where you ask? We had to ask other guests as it was not clearly noted anywhere, but there are water stations around the resort to fill water bottles. Some were cold and refreshing, water came out warm at other stations. There was no "welcome packet" in the room, like information about the resort, maps or helpful information provided. We went back down the front desk to inquire about any of this helpful info and we were shown a small map and told to take a picture of it! Not off to a great start. We ate at three of the restaurants on site and none of the food was better than mediocre. It honestly tasted like they were all frozen pre-packaged meals. Nothing tasted fresh or cooked from scratch. The buffet food quality was not much better, though you could see some it be cooked in front of you. I was surprised how very few of the staff at this resort seemed happy to be there or willing to help. We had a couple good servers at the restaurants, but it was not consistent at all. The bartenders were probably the worst I have ever experienced. No personalities, no indication they wanted to serve you, avoided you while standing at the bar tops. All drinks at the outdoor bars were served in plastic 10oz cups. Didn't matter if it was a frozen margarita, a beer, a cocktail or a shot, they all came in a 10oz cup. Oh, and they didn't start serving alcohol until 11am! What kind of vacation is that! There were no poolside or beach servers. If you wanted something, you had to get it. We talked with other guests who have more experience with all inclusive resorts, and even they said Divi was at the bottom of their list for quality. The beach and ocean were beautiful!
