The cafe itself is super cute and welcoming. Right when you walk in, the cafe smells amazing with the scent of freshly baked goods and bacon. Everyone working was super friendly throughout our visit, including the chef. There was a decent amount of indoor seating and a few tables outside. They have a good variety to choose from on their menu, including vegetarian options. We tried the BLAT sandwich (vegan style) and the Avocado Toast and both were very good. We will definitely be back on future visits to Vancouver! I’d highly recommend giving them a try!

To my greatest disappointment I was surprised that after smelling 3-4 types of Tea they said that I could not smell anymore. This too after I had purchased 2 types already. My Bill came up to $139 and they refused to accepts a $100 bill. When I wanted to pay by card Juan gave me the POS Terminal with the Tip option. Why would I want to Tip for such poor service? So I skipped. When I visited the previous time and we wanted to give them a tip for the outstanding service they refused the Tips for Loose Leaf so we gave them a Cash Tip. I also ordered their special drink called the pineapple oolong misto due to its unique sounding flavour combination. The roasted pear and brie crepe overall was quite pleasant good and not too heavy. The crepe had a bit more of a grained texture which could be due to the use of whole wheat, although was still thin and light. The roasted pear added a delicate subtle sweetness which balanced out the brie’s strong earthy note. The little drizzle of honey on top of the crepe also provided a welcome added sweetness to the overall plate. The fig, brie, and greens croissant had a beautiful crispy and flaky exterior cut into two slices to embed a layer of melted brie and a heaping handful of collard greens or lettuce. A thin layer of sweet and subtly tart fig jam was also spread across the cut halves of the croissant shell. I personally felt the fig jam and brie combination worked better than the pear and brie combination of the crepe. There was also a lot of greens compared to the other accompaniments within the croissant, creating a slight imbalance. Although, the overall taste and texture of the croissant sandwich was amazing nonetheless.
