The room that was first allocated to us was one of the old rooms and there were lots of little issues with it . When I highlighted these issues to the staff, they tried their best to sort out the problems promptly. We did some online shopping ( like you do when you are in India ! ) and the staff very kindly received it if we were out .We also ordered food online on some days and the staff brought it to the room . My daughter was unwell for 2-3 days and staff were very helpful during this time. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would particularly like to mention Mr. Kapil and Mr. Avdhesh Chaudhary who were very understanding when there were issues with the room facilities. Mr. Kapil finally decided to upgrade the room that was in the new wing. This must have been a difficult decision but Mr.Kapil sorted the issue at no additional cost to us .It was difficult because we had booked through Agoda and it was part of a package deal. The new room was very spacious ,super comfortable and nicely decorated with all the mod cons .This made the biggest difference and made our stay memorable and comfortable. A huge thank you to Mr. Kapil. The next best thing was the food which was really nice although I think a bit on the expensive side for a three star hotel . The one thing that I missed was the 24/7 room service as stated on the website but not in practise. Also ,a breakfast buffet included in the tariff ,would be nice . Generally speaking the hotel is centrally located, sits in beautiful green surroundings and has adequate parking. It is in the process of renovation so some rooms have been refurbished and some are in the process. And of course the staff who run the place are an absolute asset .So thank you Regent Park for a great experience :-)
