There's a sign on the wall stating that if you have any allergies, to let the staff know. I have a peanut allergy, and simply asked if they had anything on the menu that used peanuts, or if they used peanut oil in their kitchen. The woman taking our order stated that she had no idea. When I asked if she could possibly check, she said that she was the only one on staff that day, and that she had no idea what they used. She also said that they had taken all the labels off of the oil, so she didn't know what was used. All fairness, she did work with me a little, and offered me a poached egg bap since that didn't use oil, and I did appreciate that. However, when we were finished eating and got up to leave, we noticed that she was outside taking a private call on her cell phone, not paying attention at all to what was going on in the cafe. Sadly we won’t be returning.
