First time dining here in a few years, a significant improvement since last in. All food house made and you could taste it, excellent. Friendly, unassuming and helpful server. Picnic tables outside were freshly painted and comfortable. Thank goodness Sauble has some well made food that isn't just burgers and fries👌
We shared the soup, caesar salad, wings (honey garlic), garden salad and tuna melt... All were excellent. Spied other tables having nachos and the platter looked substantial and delicious... Note to self for next time!

Very pleasant experience. The waitress and host were lovely to deal with. Food was fresh. However, Caesar salad could’ve had less dressing, garlic could’ve been more finer. The chunks were hard like a tooth. The croutons could’ve been chunks instead of crumbs and it could’ve had some bacon and Parmesan cheese in it. But food tasted fresh and not prepared ahead. Tea water does need to be boiled at time of delivery to the table as hot water doesn’t make a good cup of tea. But tea came in a tea pot.

The aesthetic and atmosphere were a fun beachy vibe and the service was good. The wings had a nice crispness to them and the ranch that came with it was quite delicious but I didn’t particularly like the honey garlic sauce. The restaurant was clean but the one of the glasses and the pitcher had some debris at the bottom and it took quite some time for our food to come, but our server again was nice and apologized for the delay, we were a larger group. (Perhaps they wanted us to get our food at the same time) The live music was a nice addition and the cocktails and others drinks are reasonably priced which feels like a rarity these days!

Neat beach bar/restaurant! We stopped here on. Thursday evening and were sat outside on picnic tables for our meal. About 15 min after we sat down, the place was PACKED with line dancers.. it was definitely full of energy!!
Our server was good, as was the food. Had fish & chips, thick beer batter, nice and crispy. I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw personally. Hubby had wings and Caesar salad, salad was good, wings seemed under cooked. Son had the Buffalo chicken Mac & Cheese which is served in a skillet, it was hot right til the last bite. The cheese sauce was a little plain but the spicy chicken balanced it.. I would have preferred a bit more creamy cheese texture. Our friend had a clubhouse and salad and it was huge! All in all, not bad. It was super HOT 🥵 sitting outside and we'd been on motorcycles all day so we were looking for a cool meal in AC comfort. I should have asked!

아쉽게도 화장실은 너무 더럽고 조명이 어두워서 냄새가 너무 심해서 들어가기도 전에 냄새가 나요. 주방이 화장실 반대편에 있다는 게 좀 불안했어요. 결국 * 표시가 줄어든 이유가 바로 이것입니다. 여자 화장실은 작동하는 칸막이가 하나뿐이었고, 하나는 막혀 있었고, 다른 칸은 문이 잠겨 있었는데, 아마도 같은 이유였을 겁니다. 90분이 넘게 화장실이 더럽고 지저분한 것을 보면 아무도 점검이나 청소를 하지 않는다는 것이 분명했습니다. 악취 때문에 다시는 여기로 돌아오고 싶지 않습니다.

We came for wing night and line dancing. Though we decided not to stay after dinner (change of plans, not anything due to the restaurant).
My daughter and I ordered 2lbs of wings, honey garlic & bbq. All sauces are made on site. They were good although both had a medium/strong smell and flavour of curry. Not our favourite spice, other people might enjoy it.
My other daughter ordered a burger and fries, both of which were amazing. The beef was nice and flavourful and can tell it’s a handmade patty and not frozen. We didn’t order anything spectacular for drinks and they were refilled quickly as our server was attentive (can’t remember her name). All staff seem to help each other out with their tables and bringing orders so food is served hot and they all seemed friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, the bathrooms are very dirty, low lit and smell so bad, you can smell them long before you get to them. It’s disconcerting to think the kitchen is on the other side of them. This is ultimately what brings down the number of *’s. The woman’s bathroom only had 1 working stall, one was clogged and one stall had a locked door, presumably for the same reason. Over 90 mins, it was clear no one checks or cleans the bathrooms as they stayed dirty and messy. The stench is really what’s off putting to return here.

We were a family of 8 on the back patio. Which we specifically chose this place bc it was dog friendly. We all ordered out food and half of the food hadn’t come by the time some of us finished eating. We were about to cancel the order and the food came. But we were already upset. Later I went inside to use the washroom and they said it was out of service. The place was starting to fill up and the waitress told us they were having issues in the kitchen. Which is fine we understand but as good customer service can you offer something? Not even a manager came to speak to us. The place was filling up and they were really backlogged. They weren’t even telling people they were having problems. The food was excellent. The nachos!!! But the experience was horrible. I don’t think we’ll be going back.

We had an awful experience here not once, but twice.
The first visit was a mess — waited 20 minutes just to get a drink, and the waitress never came back to see if we wanted to order food. We moved to the bar hoping service would improve, but it didn’t. It then took 15 minutes to get our bill, and we had to ask for it twice.
We decided to give them another chance the next day — big mistake. The restaurant was basically empty, yet the waitress told us to wait to be seated. After standing at the bar for several minutes with zero acknowledgment, we decided to leave. As we walked out, she raised her voice at us, claiming she had a table ready — in an empty restaurant!
Completely unprofessional and disorganized. Two visits were more than enough — we won’t be back.

En vacances à Sauble Beach début septembre , nous avons eu la chance d’aller à ce restaurant et pris notre repas sur la terrasse au coucher du soleil. Nous avons beaucoup aimé nos repas! :)

- DOG- FRIENDLY! :) Le personnel a apporté un bol d’eau et des gâteries à nos chiens, les ont flatté et étaient très gentils avec nous et nos chiens!
- Très bonne nourriture!. Beaucoup d’aliments frits, mais très bon. Fish n’ Chips et les crevettes coconut nos préférés!.. Nous avons aussi pris les Mac n’ cheese bites, pickles frits, burger au poulet qui étaient bons.

Due to the rain, we had to look for indoor dining and Sola was one of them. It was a lucky stumble as we were pleasantly surprised with the food and service. Our family ordered the fried chicken sandwich, chicken wings dry rub with garlic Parmesan and 2 piece fish and chips. All the food was delicious and we had no complaints! Check it out as you get a beautiful beach view...too bad we didn't have good weather!!

My family and I visited Thursday evening after a busy day. We were seated very quickly by a friendly server. The service was quick and friendly. The kids loved their chicken tenders. I ordered a burger with fries. While the fries were absolutely delicious, the burger was nothing special. Good thing there is plenty of other menu options to try next time we go there! The music was louder than I'd prefer for a dining experience, but we knew what to expect because the live band was playing before we even arrived.
Thank you for a great dining experience from someone who has a difficult time trying new restaurants!

I took my daughter for dinner Saturday night. We got there around 5:30 before the dinner rush. The food was mediocre. I ordered the chicken sandwich which was burnt on the outside, inside was partially pink and the fries were cold. She had a wrap, which was mostly lettuce very little chicken. It was supposed to have guacamole but they said they were out of it however my daughter still wanted that wrap and the fries were cold. I did not want to complain as it was now busy and only 2 servers were outside., however disappointing when I paid almost 70 for two meals. It took us a while to get the food.Would say the atmosphere was great being across from the beach however would not return for a meal.

This place was a cute little pub on the water that had a beautiful patio, fun and friendly servers, and honestly, the best fried chicken sandwich I've had in ages. We were just passing through on the way to Tobermory and we will definitely be coming back on our way down. 10/10. Get the chkn sandwich. (The sangria was also a nice mid drive beverage)

This is comfort food in a small restaurant. They have takeout as well. Phone in or walk in. The owner and staff are always cheerful and happy to tell you the daily specials. As a starter, I had a bowl of their daily homemade soup. Today it was turkey chowder (something I've never had before), and it was excellent. My entree was delicious too. The portion was huge, so i took some home. I have been several times and have been pleased each time. My "on the road" choice is their Western Omlette. Yum!! 😋

I hadn't been here for awhile and I had forgotten the last time we were here.
We ordered the burger and fries special for $16 which really wasn't much of a deal as regular price fir the burger is $11.50 and the fries $5.25 so I saved a whopping 75 cents.

It’s an old style diner which is quaint. We were a party of 7 heading in for morning breakfast. We tried to order pancakes, no pancakes??
They did have something called “pancake bites” which we ordered. Turned out to be deep fried pancake drippings that tasted like onion rings. Not eaten.
Next was chicken tenders. These arrived as two half orders for children. Fries were soggy and reheated. Chicken tenders were made of real chicken however the exterior batter tasted like gritty sand. Fries and coleslaw left uneaten.
The basic egg breakfasts were fine. Arrived to table as expected. Although toast was soggy. Ask for jam, no jam. Toast left partially uneaten.
Last in our order were the Belgium waffles. Arrived hard and crusty. Flavourless.
Beverages mediocre, coffee bland.
Prices are reasonable, at least until you see the quality of food that arrives at the table.
The 5 star reviews are really puzzling. Waitress apathetic to our concerns and blamed the management.

The food is authentic and home style cooking. We came in with a group of 8, and everyone got something different. I got the chicken schnitzel sandwich on the baguette. Was very flavorful and a lot of food. Kids had stove oven pizza, and we're very pleased with it.
The pulled pork sandwich was piled high. I'm told it was great, too. Very reasonable prices for the amount of food. Two people can share most things on the menu.

Very glad we were able to come try the Bistro before the switch over in February! The food was absolutely fantastic, both in the portion sizes and the flavours. They had no issues catering to our dietary needs. The girl at the counter was very nice answering all of our questions and giving us good advice for our order.
We have never tried authentic Hungarian cuisine, but if it’s being cooked by this chef I can’t wait to try it!

We ordered two vegetarian pizzas and a chef’s salad for pick-up takeaway. Their Veggie Lovers pizza was delicious - made with fresh ingredients. We also ordered a custom veggie pizza with their pesto sauce and it was so good! Thin crust, not overloaded with cheese, just the perfect amount. The Chef’s salad was also better than expected. Sometimes that salad can be so plain from other restaurants but they clearly put effort into it and carefully cut the veggies. Delicious balsamic dressing, too! Highly recommend! Next time, I’ll try some of their Hungarian dishes that looked really good.

The pizza here is phenomenal. Ordered the brie and mushroom pizza, and the green dream pizza. Both pizzas were generous with the toppings without overloading the pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed both pizzas, delicious flavourful and fresh. The real star of the show was the crust, though. Flavourful crust with a great texture. Crisp and chewy.
My only regret is discovering this place on my last trip up to Sauble for the year. Counting down the days until spring when I can try this again

A very nice place to stop for a bite to eat. Very clean environment, friendly staff and the menu had a fantastic selection. My wife and daughter had the Mediterranean dish and they thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the waiter surprise me with a dish and he selected the brisket sandwich which was absolutely delicious. The food is good, I love the Mediterranean plate which is 25.00 but you don’t even get a whole chicken breast. Iv never found the service to be bad nor great. We came here for the day pass and we were very satisfied with the whole experience. Obviously the vibe and aesthetics are on point. But we were pleasantly surprised with the food. Our favourites were the fish of the day which was the oysters, salmon with herbed rice and the lobster roll. Everything else was really good too. Went yesterday before the Sauble Beach party and had such a great time here! Taylor was an absolute rockstar of a server – so friendly and on top of everything. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and the smash burger definitely hit the spot.
One tiny heads-up for fellow diners: if there are kids at the pool who are jumping in, maybe ask for a seat a little further from the barrier. A big splash made it over the barrier and landed on us (thankfully before our food arrived!). Not a huge deal, but It saves you having oyster with some "chlorine dressing" 🤣

- We had the Baby Greens salad, again just ok. It has the base ingredients to be a great salad. But didnt taste balanced. The lemon vinagrette was a bit overpowering ( & I like lemon). Adding some goat cheese & granny smith slices would have put this salad over the top!
We spoke with some other people who recommended this place & it seems lile we didnt order the items that are known for being delicious there (lobster roll, mac & cheese, broccoli salad)
So just avoid the items we did & maybe try the ones i listed.
Overall, I would go there again for a drink. But I would not go back to eat there.

We went to this beautiful establishment after hanging out at Sauble Beach. It's less than a 10 minute walk from the actual beach. As soon as we stepped in from the patio area, I was surprised at the decor and the pool. It was such a calming and tranquil space. We got invited in and it wasn't busy as it was a Friday evening. The service and nice and the staffing was very friendly.

The oysters were my favorite thing. After fun in the water and the hot sunshine all day, the Oysters was incredibly refreshing! The flavour was amazing and the sauces made it so yummy. The lobster roll was amazing. It was an actual lobster meat with delicious lettuce and lemon and butter. It was amazing. My husband loved the steak too.

This was the only restaurant that was open at 8 30pm on a Saturday evening after enjoying the beautiful sunset at the beach. It is a takeout only place. I could see that they were extremely busy with continuous orders taken. We were a group of extremely hungry 5 adults and 1 child. We ordered a 21" square pizza and Large (15" ) garlic cheese fingers. They did inform that it would take about 20-25 minutes and we got our food in about 30 minutes.
The portion size was more than enough to feed us all to full stomach and we even had few pieces remaining from both to take home. The taste was absolutely delicious. You could just feel the freshness of the ingredients used and baked to perfection. The total bill was $56-57.
Big shout out and huge respect to all the staff for their warm smiles and hard work despite being so busy taking orders and cooking in the kitchen. I would totally recommend this place and will return here when I visit the next time.

This hole in a wall restaurant is indeed that. Nothing much to it, and horrible revolting tasting pizza. It’s very hard to mess up a pizza and this place can with the bagged tomato sauce, fake cheese and other poor quality toppings. My wife and I visited on Sunday August 24th @ 10 am. She had the house waffles and I had the chicken salad on sourdough with house greens.
We’re trying to eat healthier and I forced myself to pick the salad over the fries and OMG was I pleased I did!! The house green salad is INSANE! If I could eat here everyday I would! And I’m a simple chicken, pasta and rice girl!

This place had it all. Amazing food, great service (they were even under staffed by 2 people) and lovely atmosphere. It even has an area you can sit in the garden. I got the waffles with fresh fruit, and it was actually fresh fruit..which always seems to not be true alot of places. I am a vegetarian and its hard to find places like this. We loved the retro feel inside and the cozy porch with gorgeous water views. I stopped by earlier in the day and asked the worker what time they closed and he said 8:00pm. However, when I pulled into the parking lot at 7:50pm to grab a funnel cake, the same worker looked at my car and rushed to close the window. I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to eating funnel cake and watching the sunset. The quality of the burger patties were not good. The frozen burgers you buy at the supermarket are way better. More fillings than meat. For $6.65 plus tax each, it was disappointing. The staff was friendly and tables are literally on the beach but if the quality is not there, it’s not a great experience. 2 burgers, 2 hotdogs, 1 box of fries and 2 pops, $40.00. It’s not about the price, it could cost much more and we would be willing to pay more for better quality.

We ordered the jerk chicken dinner and the goat roti—both were flavorful and satisfying. The portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly made.
Coral, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She even chatted with our kids in a sweet and respectful way—engaging without overstepping their space, which we really appreciated.

Driving on HWY 6S yesterday, July 5, 2025 back to home, hungry, had stopped off in Wiarton going north, to check out Wiarton Willie. So on the way back, quickly Googled to see restaurants, decided to try Corals. Oh my, I could taste the coconut milk in the rice. Totally enjoyed the rice and beans, the cole slaw and jerk chicken. Seriously. You must try this spot! If you’re looking for flavour, this is the ONLY restaurant in Wiarton (and the Bruce Peninsula) that truly delivers. The menu is limited BUT the quality and flavour of the dishes show the love & soul put into each one. We ordered the Jerk Chicken Dinner and the Chickpea Roti. The food was not at all spicy - just spiced (scotch bonnet hot sauce came on the side - be careful, she’s hot!). My 8 year old daughter said it was the best food she’s ever had and asked if we could book a trip to Jamaica 🤭). Coral and her staff were so welcoming and it was so nice to hear some of her story at the end of our meal. Thanks for an amazing experience - we will be back again, many times!

I'd been waiting to try this place but haven't been in Sauble when they were open until this week! We stopped for lunch and we weren't disappointed at all! Food was delicious and quick!
UPDATE: Food was still good, however the pulled pork on the "Pulled Capone" was overdone and in my opinion there was way too much smothering the dog and making it a bit messy. Will still be back to try others!

Absolutely awful. The fries were burnt, dry, and basically hollow inside. You could taste that the oil was old and clearly hadn’t been changed in a long time. For the price they charge, you’d expect something half decent, but instead it was overpriced garbage. Save your money and go literally anywhere else—this place isn’t worth it.

The Mac n cheese on my hotdog was so dry and hard in most areas I scraped it off. Extremely small portion size for the small poutine. The young girl serving was friendly and efficient so we topped well but probably wouldn’t give another try.

I had the Spiros dog ..the bun was nicely toasted and the toppings were fresh /right amount of mix. I would say the hot dog could of been cooked more but even so..was tasty. The nachos and cheese sauce was delicious . It is 15 tax in ...yet could easily be shared between 2 people or even 2 meals..like me! :) Give them a try...its a great beachy meal .
