Fresh simple ingredients is all it takes for a delicious dish. The fresh pasta in olive oil is cooked to perfection and absolutely al dente. The main of salmon was 5star, the side dishes were all full of flavour and a joy to eat. Unfortunately the sweet potato wedges were a disaster. They looked as if cooked perfectly but on eating they were soft and borderline soggy. Wedges should be crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. These were not. Coffee was fine and pudding was not for me but that is purely personal and no reflection on the cafe. Will definitely return as my group said it was the healthiest and tastiest cafe they had been to in Perth. Excellent if that is what you are after. It was a cold windy day however I sat outside on the balcony overlooking the ocean. They had heaters on outside so it was actually very nice. The coffee came and also a little cake I ordered too. It was prompt service and although busy, the service was friendly and prompt. Coffee was great and they do stock lactose free milk, so I had a 2nd coffee whilst I was there and conditioned to drink my coffee and read the newspaper. A very relaxing time. Unfortunately not a five star review due to the pigeons and seagulls hanging around trying to eat patrons food.
