EVERYTHING was so good—the service, atmosphere, and of course the food! The place looked and felt welcoming from the moment you saw the twinkle lights and autumn decor out front to the candle lighting and historic charm within. I came on a night when The Deviators were playing, a local bluegrass band, so that kicked the Monday blahs out of the way fast. For apps we enjoyed the mushroom pate and burrata. Both amazing starts. Entrees were the bouillabaisse (which I highly recommend—hearty and chock full of shrimp, mussels, scallops, and cod in the best broth I’ve had outside of San Franciso) and the beef tenderloin (also *chef’s kiss*! So tender and comforting with the mashed potatoes, yet sophisticated with the wild mushrooms. We had some mushroom pate left and spooned some of that over the beef which just melted right in).
