As this venue isn't linked directly to any accommodation I appreciate this isn't something that could be easily solved but I'm sure there must be a way! The newlyweds get a lodge overnight as part of the package but a 10am check out is a little bit early after a late night celebrating. All of that being said we would still choose the venue again. The view is beautiful. The patio and terraces are very pretty. Of course the small jetty was perfect for a photo even on a moody Saturday in October. The staff were great. From booking, to visiting, to taking in decor & dressing the venue the day before, they were very helpful. They do most of the dressing if needed; we only had to assemble the large hoop we wanted to use for photos in the evening. As this was a joining of two people from different heritages we had enjoyed a banquet at another location the night before so at the Cruin we had prosecco & canapes on arrival with a buffet later in the evening. The food was excellent and there was a good selection for the 3 guests that must only eat gluten free. As mother of the bride these were my observations from our engagement with the Cruin throughout the process and on the day. My daughter was very happy with her day and we would both highly recommend the Cruin for your special day.
