This is one of typical Filipino style eatery. We are from Manila pero eversince na natikman namin ito last year… binalikan namin sya this year! Solid yung luto nila. May choice kapang makapili kung gaano kadami or kakonti yung ipapaluto mo sa kanila. Hindi din ganon kamahal. The adobong pusit is a MUST TRY! We tried some of the well-known chicken inasal spots in Bacolod, and based on the reviews, Chicken House was a must-visit. We went there for dinner and, as expected, the place was full, so we waited for about 10 minutes. The staff asked if we wanted to sit in the air-conditioned area—little did we know there was an additional 10% charge on top of the bill. It was indicated on the menu, but we didn’t notice it, lol.
Their chicken is smaller compared to other inasal places, and overall, nothing particularly special about it. However, their chicken oil is a solid 10/10! The staff were very accommodating, and the location is easily accessible.

Food's decent at best. A bit dry than other inasal places but the place is clean and service is alright. We ordered Isol but got served Atay instead. We didn't bothered asking them to replace it as it might get charged to the staff. Overall an okay place to eat if you got no other inasal places to go.

We came here on a Saturday night, thinking why it was a little quiet. Lo and behold, there are a few families dining in, and we wondered why.
Don't get me wrong, the place was very spacious and has an airconditioned place. The staff who assisted us were very polite and helpful, and even offered us free cansi soup. Their food though, was very underwhelming.
We ordered three food items off the menu—sweet and sour fish fillet, crispy kangkong, and cheesy scallops. The best of them was the sweet and sour fish, but the sauce was too sweet we wondered where was the sour. Their Crispy Kangkong, which everyone claims one of their bestsellers, was bland and too oily. The scallops were meh although they give us one big piece and nine small ones.
Was it a good try? I am on the fence on this one. Will I return? Defo not. What has happened to the Imay's that went to the Negros Fair in Glorietta last September of 2024? I don't know. Maybe their bottled delicacies are better than their resto items. Be warned, the price of their food is quite steep for the value.

Place is a bit warm but man the food is outstanding. As Kapampangans, we critique every food we eat and we take it SERIOUSLY. I am not a fish lover but the tuna steak (if I'm not mistaken) caught my taste buds, I really loved it and the chicken cooked inside a coconut is delicious. Great food will definitely go back.

Truly the best Cansi I've ever tasted! The sourness of the soup, derived from the batwan fruit, really hits the spot. The beef was perfectly tender and rich with marrow. WNU랑 가까워서 오는 한국, 일본인이 있다면 베스트메뉴인 KBL은 조금만 시키길,, 팥죽에 수육 들어가있는데 신맛이 엄청 강하다 뭔가 맛은 있는데 맛이 없다 근데 자꾸 생각나는 맛이다
Sisig는 다른 가게들과 다르게 짜지 않고 맛있어서 추천

Nothing better than COMFORT FOOD! Enjoyed my lunch visit here, known for their house specialties I got to try the chicken binakol which is recommended by staff and was so flavourful. Another specialty I liked was the tambo and beef pochero which we ordered on another visit and forgot to take pics. Also got to try the sinugba nga baboy and a most popular dish sizzling pork sisig with egg which was crazy good with rice. Definitely will come back to visit, everything on the menu is going to make you drool because they that good and cost friendly. Good spot to visit in Bacolod with family and friends.

Tried the recommended crispy bicol express, i was disappointed because it was no bicol express, the taste of the gata was so bland. Lumpiang shanghai is good though. Pretty solid restaurant serving local food.
I had the KBL and Dinuguan. It was my first time having KBL and can't compare the taste to other versions. For what it is, pretty tasty and unique.
Dinuguan is also good, not my favorite but better than a lot of dinuguan I've tried.
I will warn you, especially if you are used to Manila prices, that the serving sizes are quite large for the price and perhaps for the first time in years if not decades I couldn't finish my order. Definitely a restaurant best tried with a group.
Despite going here for a late lunch, there were a few local patrons including a few in what seemed to be a date so that was a good indicator. I'll definitely be coming back.

Upon arriving in Bacolod City, I already asked a couple of people from drivers to receptionists to recommend me a place to eat an Ilonggo specialty named Kadyos, Baboy, at Langka or KBL. They all told me to go to Sandok Comfort, so off we went!
It wasn't very difficult to find albeit their shop is relatively small from the outside. After we got seated, we ordered KBL, Veggie Lumpia, Bangus Sisig, and Lumpiang Sariwa. The service time was relatively okay, but they served Lumpiang Ubod right away, so there was something to eat already.
I don't normally eat Lumpiang Ubod/Sariwa, but this was an exemption. It was carefully prepared without the smell of Ubod but still very tasty and yummy. The KBL was yummy—pork was soft and cooked well, and matched the texture of the Langka and Kadyos. The broth though, was a little overseasoned it's very weird to take a sip without eating rice right away. There was nothing special with the Veggie Lumpia, but the Bangus Sisig had lots of small fish bones that are difficult to neglect. We finished our meal with their yummy Mango Sago.
Will I return here, maybe, because I honestly liked KBL. But I might order extra rice to compliment the taste of the KBL broth next time.

Been here many times and now I think it’s time for a review. Although taste is good, but not authentic. I loved their salad but the mustard dressing is too sweet. Place is clean, staff a bit timid but they do their job no problem. I gave 3 stars, simply because it feels like another new restaurant but nothing special. I won’t mind going back again.

My first time eating at mushu and no wonder why they've been in the business for as long as they have, the food and service are good! A must-try for me is their shrimp bang bang, I think it's catered to the filipino pallet so it's not as spicy as one could expect but I enjoyed it. Their mushu rice is nice as well. The only issue I have is their dirty armchairs which badly need deep cleaning. Although it didn't affect my dining experience, just wanted to share since it could somehow be a turn off for others.

Service was good. The food preparation was fast and the servers were polite.
We ordered 3 dishes only, so this review will only cover those that we've tasted.
The palabok was very good at first but when the crunchy bits soaked up the sauce, I started to not enjoy it anymore. I personally want the palabok to still have different textures while eating, but it was understandable as we may have left it to sit while we tasted other dishes.
I really enjoyed the Hainanese chicken rice dish. It was my favorite. The chicken was moist and the different sauces gace the chicken really good flavors.
The baked scallops didn't have something special. I think the baked scallops here tasted similar to other food places.
I also enjoyed their carrot and apple juice. I think it was a little too sweet for my taste.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience at MuShu. Then again, looking at their menu, it seems like the place doesn't have a special or unique dish that you would want to go back to again and again.

The second time we come here the music is just right. But after awhile when only we were the ones who stayed the staff just turned on the music to a loud volume. The bass is not good to ears. Man, I think it was just for decoration, it didn't served the purpose. I didn't finish my carbonara as it was hard for me to eat with a non-friendly bacon bits. Lastly, the steak was served. When I ordered it, the waiter asked me how i want it cooked, I told him "well done". Ok, the plating was above-average, the salad on the side was good, but wait, the steak was very gummy. I needed like 5 minutes to chew on one slice of it. It was quite disappointing experience as far as the price is concerned, a customer must enjoy and be satisfied with what he/she is paying for. The only thing I like about this place is the ambiance inside which is quiet and cold. The location is also accessible and along the road.

I'd heard a couple of people talking about this place, so we checked it out on a Saturday evening. Having lived in Thailand for 3 years, we're pretty particular about our Thai food. Thankfully, it's authentic. The chef is Thai, which puts the food over the top! One thing to bear in mind is that spicy is "Thai spicy," so you may want to go easy on the heat factor if it's your first visit (level 2 and under). Other than that, the food is amazing!

Best authentic Thai food in Bacolod. Flavors are spot on but somewhat toned down for the Filipino palate but nonetheless very good. Ask for Thai level spicy as even level 4 isn’t that hot. Service is fast by provincial standards with our food arriving in 10-15 mins of ordering. Price-wise the food is fantastic value. They accept debit and credit card payments.

Baan Thai Homm is the real deal, and will not disappoint. If you know the authentic “ahan-thai” or thai food, you will find thai food comfort and authenticity here. We got so excited knowing that the chef here is a true, blue blood Thai.
We really enjoyed ALL ahan-thai/thai food served here. The food we ordered here are even better than some of the local resto/eatery/street food that we’ve tried during our travels in Thailand. Sad that the mango sticky rice was sold out when we came here.

This is a late review but I just wanted to share ny experience.
My experience in this hospital wasn't great. I had a bad allergy attack, like I have huge red patches all over my body and I was having difficulty breathing. I was nauseous and one of their nurse asked me to sit and wait at the OPD. There was no doctor. I was told by the nurse that the doctors were having a meeting. So I patiently waited there getting dizzy. After awhile, one of the nurses asked me if I can stand. That time, it was obvious that I couldn't because I was already dizzy and having difficulty breathing. They asked for my information a bit and I asked for a doctor and still, there's no doctor. I saw an old bedridden patient came in and that patient was also waiting for a doctor. So we continued waiting for the doctor. After awhile, my friend arrived at the OPD and she saw my condition. She picked me up and we decided to go to a nearby hospital.
Inagine, when we arrived at the other hospital, I got attended right away.
So, lesson learned 😅😅😅
This is not to put anyone down but I sincerely hope this hospital will listen to the patients and attend to their needs on a timely manner. We go to the hospital for a reason, and I just hope we get accommodated more promptly. My experience here when I gave birth 15 years ago wasn't great too, but that's another story... The point is... This hospital needs to improve a lot.

Food is great, nevermind the price. For slowfood, this is one of the good places in Bacolod to bring guests you want to have a good meal or impression of the city.
Ambience is not that great seeing as its just a pop up from a house but the food more than makes up for it. Went there for lunch and were very satisfied. They also had unli-coffee with a ube halaya turon as part of their snack menu.
Nvm the chocolate biscocho and the cake, those came from Calea, a nearby dessert shop - perfect to eat with their coffee.

Their utensils are very unique and really matches their interiors. We ordered their grilled pork belly and we enjoyed it. It was really delicious. We also tried their Pork sisig and it was okay for me. I was looking for a creamy version and theirs was too garlicky. My sister also ordered their Pad Kra Pao and it was too flavorful for me, especially their Thai basil (it was overpowering the dish). I couldn't find meal baskets on their menu anymore and their prices have gone way up. Nevertheless, food is still good, also the new menu is good for sharing so that explains why it is a bit expensive. It's still pricey for Bacolod standards though. The serving is okay and it is a new experience since they serve food not usually found in most of the restos in the city. But I guess this is a place for a celebration or if you want to spend a little more than your occasional meal.
And be sure to read the food descriptions they have on the side of the menu, we first thought their crispy sinigang was pork.

Amazing brick-oven pizzas and they serve authentic Italian carbonara too! They produce their own cheese with lots of variety to choose from. Most notably, the pizzas were very affordable for the quality you get.
Their indoor seating capacity is very small but thankfully you can also dine al fresco as they have outdoor seating as well.

This was probably the best wonton noodle soup I’ve ever had in my life. The broth was so flavorful I couldn’t stop drinking it, and I love that it is piping hot as all soup should be. The noodles were tender and a nice thickness. There were 5 or 6 wontons in a single bowl which was incredible!
The sweet and sour pork was delicious and perfectly tangy, and the breading on the pork was nice and crispy even with the sauce.
Finally the sio mai - it’s more than twice the price at Master Sio Mai but I think it’s worth it. Incredibly flavorful and fresh.
I’ll be dreaming of this place until I can visit again.

I went there because online they advertised Chinese food. When I got there I was surprised. What they call Chinese food and real Chinese food are different. There was no Chinese food at all there, just their version of it and looked horrible.
I tried a different dish that was very simple to make. It was a chicken dish.
When I was talking to the waitress I asked if it was white meat or dark meat. I don't eat dark meat. It's unhealthy. She walked towards the kitchen to ask the someone if the dish was a white dish or a dark meat dish. I heard the entire conversation.
Whoever spoke to paused for awhile (that's when I should have known that something was up), the said WHITE MEAT! I heard it clearly.
When the waitress came back and told me I ordered the dish.
When I got my order it was mostly dark meat.
Whoever said that it was white meat lied. There's no way to sugar coat this.

Takes pride on no msg on food prepared. Which is a come on for customers. maybe because of really choiced ingredients, reasonably they're on the pricey side. The place had downsized after the pandemic (i was back after 2 yrs too) But, food quality is the same. As when we came, the venue was full and we had a little wait before we were seated. We typically order the seafood crispy noodle and they serve it hot. Also their dimsum platter is good. So is their spinach and tofu soup. Despite the small number of the crew, service is good since they inform that waiting time is about 15 to 20 minutes. At lag times, they serve the orders in lesser period.

Was here on 24 Jan 2022, afternoon. This place requires all visitors to wear face mask & face shield. If you don't have you can buy at the entrance. Very funny and confusing is that those 2 men manning the entrance are wearing their face shield improperly. It is raised up to their foreheads. This place has great food. That said, the service is appalling. They will take a two course order around 45 minutes to prepare, then serve a cold dish. I came here with my daughter, placed our order, waited for a long time, and got served what appears to be reheated food. The meat was dry and obviously microwaved.... Our meal consisted of Ebi Tempura, Salmon Sashimi, Spicy Tuna Salad, half order of Shrimp Misono with Misono Rice, Gyudon Rice with extra egg and Calamansi juice. Really a bang for the buck! If you want a solid samgyu experience, Samgyupsalamat is the place to be. The side dishes have generous servings and they taste awesome!! For PHP 499, you can have unlimited servings of 5 pork and 5 beef variants. Pork and beef servings per refill are very generous as well. Crew services are kind of slow though but understandable since there are a lot of customers especially on peak hours (lunch and dinner). Exhaust systems are available every table so that's a plus!

Went here for dinner since most restaurants were closed after we watched How to make millions when Grandma dies at SM Bacolod. It was almost 9PM and thankfully, this resto was still open. A cousin who's a local in Bacolod brought me here. It's a nice quiet spot for super cold beers and pulutan. The beer below zero was a great partner to the topnotch food they served. The way they prepared kilawing tanigue was a first for me but definitely not the last (if I come back of course).
The place is spacious and not packed with people with ample parking. If I were a local, this'd be my hangout place. We actually went back a few times.

Beautiful lighting all over the compound, food was fine, the bottomless iced tea was way too sweet but that's too easy to fix of course. Fast service, clean restaurant and toilet facilities. Could boost the atmosphere with some better music (live?) and there's a huge potential if the rear part would be turned into a café/bar maybe some pool tables, a bar and some mist fans?! It just made me remember the 'pipe line' bar that's no longer in the city. Definitely recommended!
Oh, last but not least, the 'below zero beer storage' is straightforward CRUELTY to a person like me that gave up drinking a few years ago ;-)

The food is undeniably great and there's a lot to choose from. Delicious beef, pork and chicken. Even the Jjampong taste is exceptional. My boyfriend is allergic to sea food but for some reason (we don't really know why), he doesn't have any allergic reaction when eating Jjampong. Maybe it's because the ingredients are fresh.
A bit pricey but worth it. They serve the one of the best Korean cuisine in Bacolod City. Try them and you’ll be convinced! Their recipes are authentic and time-tested. The first time I dined here was 6 years ago and they're still on the business.

The staff members at SODAM Korean restaurant are extremely friendly and easy to approach. They serve delicious Angus beef and a variety of side dishes that are also enjoyable. It's made us feel like it's our fault for coming at A bad time where they do not have most of the popular dish available we wanted the pocheros set they said they dont have anything except crispy pata, so we got that and later said its not available . Sent the full chicken back to make sure it's cooked but lost our appetite. The sisigs chicken/squid came late. The bbq chicken was okay , chicken skin and garlic rice was probably the only thing we ate but then made us regret eating there since there are better bbq chicken and unli rice option's than kuya J. Our drinks came after the halo halo while we were eating. It was a bad experience for today. Just sad because I ate here with my late brother in law and it's also after new year. Stopped by Chowking in Bacolod at 2:30 am during our road trip back to Iloilo and we're pleased to find a 24/7 restaurant. The location is prime, situated in the center of the city for easy access. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken (Php157), meaty wanton mami, and asado siopao (Php145), and we found the food to be satisfactory. The service was quick and efficient, waiting time was only about 5 to 7 minutes. However, it would have been an added convenience if they offered cashless payment options like gcash or card payments at all times. Overall, a great choice for late-night cravings or early morning breakfasts on the go.

I entered an open area and cleaned the table myself since it was messy. I did this so the crew wouldn’t have to clear it, making it easier for them to clean. Now they want me to transfer, but I’ve already placed my order. The food is Great, but the customer service management is bad! (I think the crew is coachable they simply need proper direction and support.)
But...this is the only restaurant here in Bacolod that we really love to eat at! Not all crew members are consistent, but only a few need improvement. If I were to rate the overall experience from 1 to 10 is the highest, honest review I’d give it a solid 9.

I asked my husband to go out around 7am today as I was craving for their Chinese style fried chicken, but, only to be very disappointed . The rice they served did not look fresh and it has a foul smell. It did not look like the normal one I always have from them. It smelled a little bit panis, pan-os.The rice is not sticky like it used to be. It was so kag-kag and really a little bit panis. It seems like the rice was a left over from the previous day and were combined with the new rice for the day, or probably just a left over from the previous day. One of the most amazing things in Bacolod is their food. I had a wonderful opportunity to eat at this restaurant. First and foremost the food, very delicious and mouth-watering. It’s a good effort as an Asian restaurant (I’m a big fan of asian cuisine). You get to enjoy variety of dishes from different Asian countries in one go. Staff are friendly and professional. Place is comfortable but a little bit small and you have to experience the busy street outside. Presentation of the dishes are not bad. Although we are not in a hurry, the food takes longer time to be served. The butter chicken doesn’t taste cooked in a butter but overpowering coconut cream. Chili oil dipping for wanton is a bit burnt. Peanut butter sauce for the spring rolls too sweet. Overcooked chicken for Nasi Lemak so it’s really dry and hard to eat (same with hainanese chicken), not to mention the peanuts served were stale. Hopefully they can do better next time. I shall return.

Have never written a google review in my life. But had such a rough experience that I had to post. To start off, Had to ask multiple times to bring my soft drink that I had initially asked for.
Waited over 1 hour for a side dish, not even a main dish to arrive. I’m not sure if they were still trying to catch the shrimp or what. By the time it arrived the rest of the food to eat it with was cold.
They were nice enough to offer to cover the meal, which we declined, the damage was already done and we were no longer in the mood to eat after waiting for so long. They also offered a free dessert which was nice, but if you’ve ever faced the wrath of a pregnant wife you know the path to redemption requires much more.
Would not recommend unless you enjoy waiting until next year to get the food you ordered.

Hi, the food was pretty mid but their service was subpar. They forgot our order and if I didn't ask for an update then we would have been waiting in vain as they didn't input our order in their system. They also forgot to give us our soups. Their comfort room is also smelly, unbefitting of a reputable restaurant. Overall, would not recommend going to this place.

They served us a soup that taste and smell like chlorine and I also noticed the customer on the other side can smell the chlorine ,the sanitation is bad even the cr is disgusting and the worst part is when I tried to complain they didn't even apologize or say a word! Tried their salt & pepper pork for Php 139 and I still prefer their garlic (*something) fish fillet (it was replaced with fish fillet oriental btw). Their soup is still the same and they serve tap water as service water as well. They accept credit card payments with a minimum purchase of Php 300.

This restaurant already has several branches around the Philippines. But I was only able to try it recently. I was pleasantly surprised the first time we went here. My favorite is the salted egg calamari. Their pork sisig and lechon kawali were also good. I haven’t tried their whole menu, but their food was great from what I’ve tried.
The place is not really well known, or probably there are just so many good restaurants in Bacolod. Choobi does not have many customers every time we eat there - which is good for me.
My only negative feed back would be the poor aesthetics of the place. The lights are dim and some of them are not working. The ceiling needs some cleaning up. If they can improve on this aspect, they deserve 5 stars.
