The Calamari is on every menu these days and shouldn't be hard to nail, but it was chewy/overcooked, coating was tempura light and it didn't keep together - a shame. The mains saved the day and were all round winners, we love them them burgers, bro was very impressed with it. And I was very happy with the duck, cauliflower puree, kale were cooked perfectly and delicious. It was finished with excellent accoutrements (shallots, berries, pomegranate), with tangy shots of flavour complimenting and lifting the other flavours. Once in the shower, I discovered that it was fixed far to low to the wall,meaning I could not stand underneath it. The final straw was when I turned the shower on,water poured from the shower hose ,meaning there was zero pressure from the head. After a terrible shower ,I grabbed a towel from the towel rail,to my horror the rail was extremely unstable rocking back and forth if you touched it. This is extremely dangerous. When we left the hotel we reported all the issues to reception, we were told management would be in touch. After waiting 2 weeks nobody had contacted me. After several emails and being ignored the manager finally responded denying there was an issue with anything. I was offered a 25% discount on a future stay. Which I found insulting. Why would I want to return to a hotel that I would rate 1 star. I was then contacted by the regional manager, I was shocked to hear that he denied everything and basically called me a liar. I have never before come across such terrible customer service and unprofessional management . Unfortunately I have now been forced to go to the small claims court to get a refund.
