The interior of this restaurant had such interesting decor! From the outside you cant tell how big and fun the inside is. It also looked like they had an outdoor patio section that I will definitely be trying out if I eat here again. After we ordered, they brought out these little biscuits with some jam that were delicious! So fruity and light. My chicken and waffles were delicious and fluffy with a perfect syrup. The staff were extremely friendly and overall I loved the upscale cozy feeling this restaurant brought.

Was visiting Danville for a day, and chose this restaurant for dinner. Based on the reviews, we ordered the seafood dip - which was awesome, as well as the jalapeno bacon egg rolls. I ordered the pesto stuffed chicken (no pic), which came with sides of risotto and asparagus. Including my drink, and cookie dough cake, Everything was so good. There was no wait, the staff was friendly and pleasant. If ever in Danville again, I will return here. Wonderful experience.

Friday night out and the Golden Leaf was really good!! Had the 12 oz NY Strip with potatoes and brussel sprouts. Everything was cooked perfectly. One of the most flavorful steaks I've had in a long time.

A couple of friends and I visited Me’s Burgers and Brews for lunch over the weekend while we were in Danville for an event. The atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting, and I loved that the art and other decor was book themed!
We tried the pimento cheese bombs with tomato jam and ranch, and fried pickles with ranch - both were great, but the pimento cheese bombs were to die for!
Our server was so sweet and friendly, and engaging when talking with us about our visit.
If you’re looking for a good lunch or dinner spot in Danville, I highly recommend this place!

They have a good draft and cocktail selection! The appetizers and food were phenomenal! The link was service, it took at least 15 minutes at the bar to be acknowledged and a while between each step. We drove in from Greensboro to enjoy the Casino and after searching for the best food in town was lead to Me's. We arrived and enjoyed the amazing view of the Dan River out front as well as the fountain and scenic downtown atmosphere and vibe. The staff were nothing short of amazing as well as one of the owners Tommy who helped guide us through the menu. We started with some drinks and Paminto Bombs, by the way these are a must and we'll worth the 1hr drive from Greensboro, and followed those with some local harvested beef burgers. My wife and I had to mix it up as to try more items all in one sitting. Everything was simply amazing! Literally the cherry on top was the cherry pie with fresh local ice cream. Saying this was just a great experience is actually doing it an injustice as this was an AMAZING experience. God bless you all and may your business continue to grow 🙏🏼

I was in town for a work trip and had the most delicious and delightful dinner after literally "running" into this spot after a run on the Danville River. The food was delicious, my burger was juicy and its simple classic nature hit the spot. And don't get me started on the fried pickles... they were salty, crispy, tangy. If you are looking for heritage type country food look no further. The fried pork chops, squash, and banana pudding reminded me of the way my Grandmother made them over 49 years ago.

I don't know where these folks are coming up with 4 stars. I've traveled this Country from top to bottom and side to side. Mary's Diner is what small town dining is all about! Family owned and operated with fresh ingredients, this place is an oasis between Roanoke and Martinsville. If you blink you'll drive past it but that's part of what makes it so awesome. These ladies know everyone and treat strangers like family. They certainly fed me well and I'll go out of my way just to go eat there again!

Outback Danville: Where Good Taste and Cleanliness Go to Die
My experience at the Outback Steakhouse in Danville, VA was absolutely terrible from start to finish. The moment we walked in, the place smelled like old mop water. It was overcrowded, loud, and uncomfortable. When I asked the manager (Gary) if we could move to another table, he rudely refused and sat us right next to the restrooms. Completely disrespectful.
I ordered the Kingsland Steak and Shrimp, and the entire dish was unappetizing. The pasta wasn’t fresh, and the sauce tasted like melted butter mixed with jarred Alfredo. My baked potato looked beat up and tasted old and overcooked. The salad wasn’t fresh either—limp lettuce, soggy toppings, barely any dressing.
One of my daughters asked for rice—it was hard, clumped together, and clearly not made fresh. Her baked potato was caked in salt and inedible.
My other daughter ordered the Queensland Chicken and Shrimp. The chicken was hard, dry, and overcooked. She said it “tasted like booty,” and her salad tasted like fish. She actually felt nauseous by the time we left.
My youngest daughter said her shrimp could’ve been good if it wasn’t overcooked—but unfortunately, it was dry, rubbery, and ruined the dish.
To make matters worse, there was hair on our napkins, the dishes weren’t clean, and I had to ask for a cup of hot water just to clean off my own fork. That says everything about how this place is run.
The service was inattentive, and the manager was rude and unprofessional. This location seriously needs to replace management immediately. There’s absolutely no pride in the food, the service, or the cleanliness.
I will never return, and I strongly recommend others stay far away from this Outback location.

We were last here a year ago. This time, we were greeted and seated promptly once again. The floors are clean and bot slippery. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Meals came out in a well orchestrated manner. The food was hot and fresh, and the beers were ice cold. The music was at a generally acceptable level and nothing to obnoxious. This is the second time we’ve had a bad experience. Months apart. Food is cold , dripping in oil , under cocked. Got a lobster that was so over cocked it was like a car tire. The filet mignon was flavorless and rubbery.
And this whole meal cost me and the wife 100$ before tip. I got the same at Texas Roadhouse for 60$ and was sooooooooo much better. This place is trashy , please don’t waste your money. They were very accommodating to our group of 13+ and even setting up one long row of tables for us to all sit together in their Sunroom area. We were allowed to decorate lightly which was nice. Found feathers on chicken, food was cold, and terrible service. When asked about the chicken, the manager said they just throw the chicken in the fryer with no extra cleaning just a rinse and cook. Over priced $30 for two people, and they dont give any compensation for anything wrong with the food. Poor management, flies, everything else not clean about a restaurant especially for what you pay. Floors are dirty. Just a unsatisfying experience, especially when the manager said they do no extra cleaning to their food besides rinse it off. If they did that for the chicken imagine the other things the other food does not go through to be prepared correctly to get on your plate. Never eating here again period, and advise you all not to eat here. Would give it a no star rating but Google doesn't work that way. They need to inspect all food that comes from their vendors more thoroughly before it gets on someone else's plate. I've seen other reviews on this place and the food is not as good as it seems, no variation of food choices or variety. Not worth the money even for 2 people $30 is top much if I wanted over priced I would have gone to golden corral where I knew alot of food was.

This was by far one of the best visits I've had at a chain restaurant that in years (if not ever).
I am a hard sell at any chain restaurant, and I know true seafood fanatics wouldn't call this great seafood. That said, I went for one of their entrée sneak previews and was wowed regularly throughout. Nothing was wrong, starting with the absolute best biscuits I can remember having at a Red Lobster... these signature biscuits were what I called throughout the meal as $15.99 biscuits! The cheddar was cheezy, the biscuits were buttery with a gentle but firm crispness on the outside and hot throughout. Had the teriyaki shrimp, and was one I couldn't get enough of. 12 skewers later I decided it may be a good idea to stop. The coconut shrimp bites were the perfect flavor with the sauce provided.
.. And to top it off, the service was On Point! The entire meal... I couldn't have asked for anything if I wanted to the server was so efficient! She was pleasant, sincere, and just a pleasure to have handling our meal.

I come here every time we are back in town to visit family. The food is always great, the crew is always on top things. Today their pay system wasn’t working but they managed to serve everyone quickly using the old fashioned way and didn’t even charge us for our breakfast. Im sitting in buscuitville, highly upset, i ordered a pancake platter with turkey sausage, only to find out that they have no turkey sausage, do I ask for turkey bacon, and guess what🤔 they have no turkey bacon. So i order two short stacks with a side of eggs, they bring me two short stacks with a cup with both sides of eggs i guess my company and I would have to split the one cup, it seems like they would put the eggs for each order in separate cups, maybe they were running low on cups i dont know but I ended up letting mom have the eggs and I'll wait until I get home to eat. Oh did I mention that my wife ordered chicken and biscuit with a side of egg and gravy on top and that came back a chicken and egg biscuit. I really like the Biscuitville on riverside drive in Danville! I’ve stopped here 5 times in the past 6 months, and those boscuits are just incredible, even the plain butter biscuits.
I did have a interesting interaction on my last visit I wanted to share.. I was chatting with some other customers about how good the biscuits were, and an employee overheard us. She told us the biscuits were actually made with fine ground cornmeal and secret spices, not flour. She claimed they don’t use flour at all! We were a little surprised, and even checked google, which said the simple recipe includes flour, buttermilk and shortening. She insisted google is wrong and hasn’t been updated yet with the correct information. I’m just curious, was she maybe joking with us? She seemed completely serious.. it seems odd, and I’m not sure why someone would say that to customers if it’s not true. Regardless, I’ll be back for more of those great biscuits!

This was possibly the most chaotic restaurant experience I have had in a long time (it was 8:15 on a Saturday morning, so fair). However, the biscuits and gravy were outstanding, even if the muffin I ordered on the side was undercooked. It gets five stars for the gravy alone. This is the little restaurant that "could". However, it is trying to do too much at the expense of patrons who come in to eat breakfast. I am not expecting much, but I don't want to be jostled in the morning and the seating is spartan.
The drive through was so busy it was clogging traffic up to the busy road on approach. Pick-up orders brings foot traffic in, and patrons waiting for their order have to dance a jig to stay out of the way of others and make their way to the front when their name is yelled out. It's a noisy, but not unfriendly, place to eat breakfast. The management probably doesn't need advice as it seems to be doing very well (if receipts are any measure) but perhaps try not to do all things at the expense of customer experience. There was a lot of staffing in crowded workspaces that added to the din. Nonetheless, the food came up quickly enough and despite the underbaked muffin, was delicious.
I didn't try the biscuit sandwich offerings, or other offerings that might have been suitable for the drive through crowd. But I won't eat in there again. Aside from the coarse, but pleasant service (I don't like to be called "baby") and loudly asked if everything is okay at table, I am tempted to try to pick up something to eat it elsewhere...I can see why the police officer who was there took his food for takeout.
If the other menu items were as good as my biscuits and gravy, I can see why it is so busy. This seems to be a local favorite and I am only reporting on my experience.

I visited Danville, VA for work and our concierge recommended Biscuitville for breakfast and let me tell you..it did not disappoint. We had breakfast there everyday of our trip. The facilities were very well maintained and everyone including local patrons were so very nice. It felt like you were eating grandmas southern breakfast. The grits were on point & swimming in butter..just how I like it…biscuits were the main star…perfection..and there is a viewing window to see biscuits made from scratch. 5 starts across the board. I will definitely revisit next time I’m in town.

Tickle, his family and staff are awesome. I've never had so much fun. The Legend was awesome. Came with 2 fluff, perfectly cooked egg with cheese, melt in your mouth steak with brown gravy. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Elliott tonight—our first time meeting him, and he left a lasting impression. You can tell he has a huge heart just by the way he carries himself. The 4 cheese Mac and cheese was just noodles and cheese on top of it with bacon and cold. Served the food with no silverware or napkins waited a while for that. I see 4 months ago another couple was seated and forgotten about. Sounds familiar. So IHOP you still have yet to correct your employees. Thanks for ruining my day as I have a 5 hr drive a head of me. The host was super friendly. My waiter was awesome. The only thing he forgot was to come back and tell me the kitchen was out of hashbrowns, so he brought fried potatoes instead. My wife and I were tooling around Danville when we decided it was time for lunch. A quick Google search resulted in us deciding on Mama Possums. This place has some of the best cheeseburgers and hotdogs along with bbq. Im sure there’s other good things but im stuck on them 3 items lol. Crinkle cut fries are good too but if you like your fries with a crisp like me then make sure you tell them extra crispy because they come a little on the soft side at regular order. Milkshakes are also good and im more vanilla but my wife likes the pumpkin shake. This place does get packed at times but it’s worth it if you can get a seat.

I love this place! We split the 2 hot dog with fries and a drink and it's just $6.99! And the dogs were delicious! I got a chili, cheese, & slaw on mine. So good. After living in Texas, we always get a kick out of visiting Texas steakhouses to see the hype. This one was actually decent, in comparison. The food was nicely prepared, the steak came out as requested, the appetizers were great, overall a good experience. They were out of quite a bit, like rolls and desserts, and childrens crayons, but didn't seem to affect the meal much at all, and we were told their truck would be in today, so we may try again! I tried this place last night even though the reviews were on the fence and I was pleasantly surprised. The wait to get drinks was a bit longer than usual but it allowed us to review the menu in detail, the wait staff seemed a little chaotic but definitely has potentially after the opening kinks are worked out.
I loved the atmosphere and the restaurant is absolutely adorable. We decided on steaks and I paired mine with baked potato and mac & cheese. My boyfriend paired his with a salad and loaded potato soup.
The wait for the food wasn't terrible and the waitresses were on point with drink refills!
The rolls were okay, bread and butter essentially but we definitely enjoyed them.
The steaks were cooked perfectly and we both enjoyed them. I loved the baked potato but the mac & cheese was terrible. My boyfriend enjoyed his salad and he LOVED the loaded baked potato soup.
We will definitely be back again because there are so many things on the menu that I want to try.

This is our second time at the Texas Steak & Ale House in Danville, VA. The first time: the service was exceptional and the food was hot and delicious. The manager came by three times to ensure everything was up to par. We complimented the waitress on her outstanding service and the manager informed us that she was “new.” What a gem! They need to hold on to her! We left a $20 tip on a $35 meal. Fast forward to tonight, our second visit: the food was lukewarm and not very tasty at all (we ordered the same thing, except our son was with us this time). The onion petals were HARD. The waitress seemed really unhappy to be there. We had to ask for silverware. My husband’s birthday steak was well done when he asked for medium. They brought my husband a baked sweet potato when he ordered a regular baked potato (which they allowed us to keep). We were on the waitlist for 55 minutes and were told it would be approximately 45 minutes. I understand that there is no way to tell how long it will be but the entire front corner was empty minus one table. At the end of our meal, we waited about 15minutes for a to-go box and ticket. We got our own box (after spending that much, I’m not going to waste it!). The bill was $45 and we only left an $8.50 tip. The manager walked past several times during this visit but didn’t even nod or acknowledge our existence as he did the first time. Needless to say, this did not even seem like the same restaurant! I can’t believe they changed that much in less than a month! If their service and food remains like it was tonight, they won’t be in business here long. I was really looking forward to having another option for steak in Danville!
One final thing: the restrooms! My husband said there was urine on the floor around each urinal at least three feet away. He had to use a stall to keep his feet dry. The women’s restroom smelled of poop and the wastebasket was past overflowing. Unreal!

We were seated in the bar area and waited on very quickly. I ordered a sweet tea that came to me and tasted very sour. My husband and I ordered our steaks both medium rare, and they came out blue. This was an experience I won’t forget. I took my daughter and a friend out for their birthday. The bread was cold. The tea and fries were really good. We waited for the food about an hour. The hamburger was rare which was supposed to be well done. The steak was ordered medium rare and it was over cooked. The grilled chicken was supposed to have sautéed onions on the side with bacon, but instead I got a big chunk of raw onion on the chicken. The boneless wings were nothing but mush. What a disaster. We are new to the area and decided to try the place for the 1st time. We wanted something good to celebrate our anniversary during the lunch hour. We did carry out, which I was a little skeptical about, especially with steak. But the food was delicious. Outstanding food and service. I picked up a Greek gyro a liitle after noon on Nov 24 at the drivethrough. Gyro was expertly wrapped tightly so it was easy to eat one handed. Fries were as good as fast food fries gets, meaty, fresh, not too salty. and not greasy at all. I only wanted water as the drink and was pleasantly surprised when I got good bottled water. About an hour ago i ordered 2 classic roast beef sandwiches with horsey sauce. I went thru the drive thru. While there i ask if there were any samples of the pulled pork since it was new and was told absolutely not. I was handed my bag and i pulled away. As soon as i got on 28 hwy my husband opens bag. As soon as I saw the old school, retro hat signage at this Arby's, I knew I would be unable to pass it by.
The ladies working the morning of 28 January 2025 were some of the nicest folks I have encountered in a while.
I was in about 20 minutes before the lunch rush started.
Made me feel welcome like an old friend & a VIP, though I have never been there before.
My food was fresh, hot & tasty.
I got the mozzarella sticks, small & a drink.
It was so good, I had to ring the bell on the way out!
I had never rang the Arby's bell before at any location.
The store was clean, as was the bathroom.
Well stocked in condiments & bathroom supplies.
I will stop there again next trip to Danville!

Well I had heard it was under new management so I decided to give them a second chance today and wow glad I did. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile and warm welcome. This is my wife's favorite place, not really my cup of tea. But she loves their ham and cheese sandwiches. She gets the biggie bag for like 5 or 6 dollars. The fries normally suck but this time they weren't perfect but there were improvements.

Quick stop for inexpensive beef hotdog and soup.
They have plenty of parking and believe it or not plenty of seating indoors too!
The older lady manning the cash register was not friendly at all. This was my 1st time coming here and she expected me to know what I wanted already. I asked to for a menu. Could be her off day as she left shortly after I ordered my meal and paid.
If I lived in the area I might give this another try for a quick inexpensive meal. If you are just visiting and have limited time, skip this place.

Headed out this morning with a buddy on our motorcycles with the intention of grabbing lunch at a diner somewhere up near Danville
This place really hit the spot!
The menu, the decor, the folks..... everything you want in a great diner.
The fried bologna sandwich was excellent. The crinkle cut french fries were delicious and perfectly crispy. The sweet tea was spot on.
Everybody there was so friendly and helpful.
Very reasonable prices.

Rode up here just to try the hot dogs. I'd say they were about average. Buns were on the cool side and the chili and slaw, while good, didn't really standout. Fries were good. Otherwise, the service was excellent and very friendly despite me being an outsider amidst regulars. And the atmosphere was great. First time I’ve been here. Me and my sister smelt delicious food outside the public library, and we immediately decided to walk over to the diner and grab a quick lunch. The chicken liver box is our goto every time we visit. You also can’t beat their fried chicken. You will have to wait a bit for your order, but that’s because they are actually cooking it. If you can imagine shopping for the literal worst-possible quality food you can find to serve to customers, the result of that is what they serve. Everything down to the condiments are the lowest of low quality. Chicken tenders aren’t edible, mozz sticks are worse than frozen wal-mart brand. My buddy ordered a burger and did not eat it. A previous experience I had a hot dog and it didn’t even resemble the definition. Horrible food, ok service but it I was the only person with an active order so the 6+ people there could’ve done much better. And to top it all off expect to pay 3x normal acceptable prices. DO NOT EAT HERE. Trust me.

NOT a big deal to pay extra for the pancakes but really felt it should.have been taken care of because it was their mistake. Absolutely horrible room service experience. We waited well over an hour for the incorrect food order to be delivered to my room. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to speak with a manager, I had to file a complaint through the front desk.
To make matters worst, the manager had an entire side dialogue with another party while speaking to me after waiting for over 30 minutes to actually speak to someone at the restaurant.
This is the second time we've had an issue with our room service order. The Hotel Front Desk had to intervene to get our orders redone. Apparently the delivery staff gave our order to another room.

Allow me to inform you of this establishments willful deceit to Caesars Players Guests. I and 3 other family members met at the casino for a fun-filled night of gambling. After the first round, we decided to try the Burger Joint, since it's typically closed whenever we go. My 3 family members order, use their Caesars Rewards and are now waiting for their order. I place my order, give my rewards card and the cashier says, "Sorry, it's not accepting, do you want to try a different amount?".
I knew I had at least 2500+ points, pull out my phone to verify and then the cashier stated, "No, we are a 2 for 1 here or a 1 to 2".... I interrupt her and stated, so you are trying to charge me double points, which means you are charging me double! She repeated, " no, like, it's a little more than the actual amount but like $5"... I stopped her again and explained that even if that were the case I had more than enough points to pay for the meal, $18.93. I've been canceled the order and told her to keep the food because of the dishonesty. I then went to the table and explained the situation to my family members. They checked their balances and yes indeed were charged double the amount! The cashier comes to the table and still is denying that it is double. Another family member asked for a member of management or management staff of the entire Caesar's entertainment complex. We wait, the orders are canceled but she says you could pay in cash or credit card and the points would be returned to the players card. My family members decided to do that. But, how was the total $90 when there were clearly three orders at approximately $20 per order. We still haven't figured that out even on a receipt.
I have explicitly asked for members of management to call me today to discuss the fact that there are no warnings, no signage and willful ignorance of the staff by not informing people of this double charging. I was explained by security that because it is not "owned" buy Caesars, Caesars does not typically get involved with issues at this restaurant area.
Let me be clear, the 500 Block cannot "own" an interior of another physical building, they can Lease the area, but not own!
Let me tell you something Caesars, you own the building that they hold the lease of an area, inside of your building! It is your responsibility to your customers to ensure that any additional charges inside of this area are posted and informed before using a rewards card!

As to the food, it is not worth the price, it is more like a McDonald's double quarter pounder with great value deal chips on a brioche bun with less appetizing fries!
I was also referred to the Caesar's rewards marketing Manager inside of the casino. She stated she would, indeed, past the issue along and have someone in upper management call me today. Nothing from them either!
Needless to say, after all of the explaining, talking and debating; I left afterwards. Once you change the whole mood in such a manner, it takes the fun out of the event.....
