It truly lived up to the hype we were told about it, and would highly recommend Thai Dish Cuisine just for this dish. The temperature was not too hot which I enjoyed because I could soak longer. 5) free access to the actual Oregon garden. Took a nice stroll through the garden and it was the perfect day. Cons: 1) the room was SWELTERING. Even with the fireplace turned off and AC set at 64 degrees AND door open for cool outside air to come in, it was still extremely hot in rooms. Not sure if this is normal as it was my first stay there but it was NOT pleasant. 2) weird issues with TV. No matter the channel, tv would just freeze, then cut to a black screen until it rebooted. Whole process took about 2 minutes and did it once or twice every 30mins to an hour. Told front desk and showed video. Hopefully they fix it but that means replacing tv I think. 3) bathroom in room was not too clean. Looked like coffee had been spilled and splattered up the door frame and cabinets at one point and never cleaned. The room I was in could have used some deep cleaning and the repairs from wear were not done well making it show it's age. The restaurant and breakfast were good with a solid menu. It would have been nice if there was more about the resort in the room like some take-out or room service or more local things, garden information, etc. Also, I was put in an ADA room when I didn't need it but saw other guests that could have utilized those services better and it did lead to a small parking situation when those ADA spots in front sat empty the entire time and the rest were taken for the building. Food used to be a bit on the greasy side but is now much much better. Recently had sesame chicken and it was light and crunchy and very flavorful! Their BBQ pork is very good as well has a nice crunchy texture on the outside and is served warm. The hot mustard is super great but is hot so please be warned. Wife ordered chicken and broccoli was great as well. Not slimy and the vegetables were done perfectly. Take out is fast but be patient with the folks as often times English is a second language and we can tend to talk to fast. Dine in is always great and service is awesome. This is what one expects from 2nd generation owners/operators. Thank you folks for feeding the family for over 20 years!!!
