Fantastisch lekker gegeten. We moesten iets langer wachten maar we zijn op vakantie en hebben totaal geen haast dus geen probleem voor ons.
Het eten was zeer goed. Een echte Thai zal mogelijk zeggen dat het niet helemaal authentiek is maar dat neemt niets af aan de smaak. Die is gewoon heerlijk en daarom is dit restaurant voor ons een echte aanrader.
En je krijgt er door de ligging ook nog een mooi uitzicht bij.

Great location above Lake View Hostel on the 3rd FL. Very chilled atmosphere (although it feels a bit dim). All staff are attentive and spoke good English.
Not sure it was the most impressive pad sew and fried rice i had, but relatively speaking, it was alight (pad sew was too wet though). Don't recommend the veggie fresh rolls though. Love the hot sauce "buffet" options.

So what’s with the Pad Thai!?
I was curious reading the reviews and people say it was either THE BEST or WORST pad thai they ever had. Naturally I had to try it!
First off, it’s a cute restaurant on top of a hostel. The staff are really friendly and speak good English. Try and profit from their Happy Hour from 6-7:30. Their starters were amazing! We had crispy spring rolls, fresh spring rolls and chicken satay. All perfect! And the Pad Thai….yes it was in the saltier side as someone mentioned, but not too much! You can choose between chicken/shrimp and vegetable, and the chicken/shrimp one was really good! It didn’t come with tofu which I appreciated! (Soy no es buena…)
So, for 3 drinks, 3 starters and 2
main dishes we paid 150mil cop, which is also not overpriced! If I go again, I’d ask for some chili or spices to but I’ll definitely keep the place in good memory!

Ich verstehe die schlechten bewertungen nicht. Wir hatten das thay curry und das padthai, beide waren sehr lecker und grosse portionen. Das curry hatte eine gute schärfe. As my son was nearing the end of his vacation here with us we were ready for other than comida typica and decided to give the Thai Terrace a try. Had the spring rolls, they were okay. I really enjoy a peanut sauce and they did not have one. My son had the Pad Thai, he is a Pad Thai snob and always orders it anytime we have Thai said that it was just okay. I on the other hand enjoyed it and I don't really care for Pad Thai. I tried the beef short rib randang and that was also okay to good. We had one other dish that I guess was not very memorable. The service and location were great.

Walking in felt like being home. The owner/chef greeted us and sat down with us to tell us his backstory and ask us about ourselves. He was very nice and funny. The food was amazing and as a Cuban, it made me homesick. The ropa vieja was delicious. Walking in, we were warmly taken in by our hosts. They told us to feel at home, as if we had a choice! This is what hospitality looks like. Truly lovely couple who are passionate about what they do and the food and atmosphere they provide! You won't see kindness like this in many places.
The decor is beautiful, an homage to the beautiful Cuban culture! Love the records, couches and vintage gear all around.
The food... wow. Easily in the top 10 meals I've had and I'm a picky eater that isn't easily impressed. That being said, I'm a cilantro lover and this is the place to indulge in it.

I wish I could have this for every meal, every day. Absolute perfection, the sweet and salty mix of this dish is delectable. The mango and cilantro sauce compliment the soft cheese so well. I was joking with my boyfriend, if I had no shame, I'd lick the plate clean and order another two so we could each have our own.
-Pollo Mambo:
The chicken was so tender and the flavors were an explosion of perfection! Loved the carrot ribbons and the sesame seeds added that extra something. The rice martini glass is so cute, and the rice was so flavorful and hearty.

This was my boyfriends dish but we shared some of our own plates with each other. Perfectly seared pork strips, flavorful crust on them. Sauce was out of this world. The potatoes were cooked to crispy perfection, and the seasoning almost made me cry.
Mojito 10/10, very herbal and minty.

An absolutely wonderful place to eat, owned and run by the most adorable couple! We found it wandering into town looking for dinner. I had my heart set on a Cuban Sandwich, but Oscar (owner and chef) came out to explained that he would do his best to find fresh bread as it was late at night and it might be hard to get. No luck on bread so we suggested making the sandwich on a tortilla and Oscar created a master piece for us. It was delicious!! A lot of care is put into the dishes. His wife made us fabulously jugo natural drinks and we had so much fun chatting with her. The food and drink presentation was gorgeous. The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxed with wonderful jazz and Cuban music playing in the background. After dinner we were treated to a shot of a cream whisky from Columbia (like an Irish Cream). What a wonderful experience we had all around. I so recommend a night out at this warm and welcoming restaurant with a menu full of absolutely delicious food!

Vegan ou pas, il faut aller manger à ce merveilleux petit restaurant coloré. J'aurais voulu donner 6 étoiles tellement nous avons bien mangé (pour un rapport qualité prix défiant toute concurrence !).
Nous avons deux burgers falafels (ils sont juste immenses) et un salad bowl (immense aussi) dans de belles assiettes noires ainsi que des jus de mangue et fruits de la passion, DÉLICIEUX !! Le tout est fait maison. 28000 cop le plat!!!
Nous avons mangé sur la terrasse colorée où on peut jouer à des jeux (on a joué aux fléchettes en attendant nos plats) et, chose unisité, dessiner sur les murs, les tuiles, le plafonds....
Après avoir mangé mon incroyable, délicieux, succulent burger, mon 6'5 était rempli avec un sourire sur ma face. Il faudrait inventer un mot pour traduire cette expérience culinaire. Trois heures plus tard, j'y pense encore.
Et que dire de l'équipe professionnelle et super sympathique qui fait fonctionner ce lieu.
Si vous habitez la région ou y passez, vous devez y aller à tout prix..

As far as Italians go this place is not bad! The calamari to start was really nice and not overdone - the batter was crispy and the sauce was amazing. I had the seafood pasta which was definitely homemade so bonus points, the sauce was delicious and loved the king prawns / mussels - some of the other seafood was a bit rubbery so would have preferred more mussels and prawns over the variety of squid etc. Cocktails were well made and I tried the steak which was very tender and well cooked - the little potatoes that come with the steak are like little pillows - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, yum! Wow! What a place. I told them it was my wife’s birthday, the food was delicious and they treated her to birthday pancakes! Service was with a HUGE smile and we had just arrived in Guatapé, we felt so welcome instantly. We went at night, so we couldn’t fully take in the view, but we’re already planning to return during the day because we know it’ll be stunning. We were lucky to be seated in the conversation pit since it wasn’t busy on the Monday night we visited, and it added such a cozy, intimate vibe.

Ricardo was our waiter on both occasions, and despite the language barrier (we’re English and slowly learning Spanish), he made us feel welcome and we enjoyed speaking with him.

As a Colombian, I recently visited the region with my husband for the first time, and we spent a few days in town, making this our go-to restaurant.
Although many restaurants in the area are Americanized and offer a mix of cuisines—ranging from Indian to Italian, including Colombian—this often raises a red flag.
What my husband and I have learned from our travels, having dined at both humble eateries and Michelin-starred establishments, is that an extensive menu with 85 options doesn't guarantee quality. We also tried several local restaurants, including one at our hotel, but they fell short of what defines good Colombian cuisine.

The food is well-seasoned, balanced, beautifully presented—simply amazing. It quickly became our favorite after our first visit.
The pricing is reasonable, positioned in the mid-to-high range for local currency, but incredibly accessible for those coming from the U.S.
Must-try dishes include Bandeja Paisa, a local and traditional meal that comes with beans, rice, plantain, salad, avocado, chicharrón, and ground beef. It’s the best Bandeja Paisa I’ve ever had, although I might be missing a few components—it's simply delicious.
My husband enjoyed the tomahawk steak, which was well-seasoned, tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, served alongside salad and potatoes with mayonnaise.

The owner, Sam, and his staff are absolutely awesome! The menu features Colombian, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Indian and American cuisines. Plus, it is vegan and vegetarian friendly! Sam sure knows what he's doing as he has lived in each country that the menu offers dishes from. I often get worried about quality when so many cuisines are cooked at one restaurant, but this place is an exception. The food is phenomenal. Pictured is an appetizer of chips and guacamole + a main meal of Aloo Gobi, Naan, Rice, Salad and Vino.

Great place for authentic Indian food! We have been travelling for five months and is the best curry we’ve had in so long! Sam and all his staff are lovely and very friendly. Sam will make sure you are happy with the level of spice (even gave us more on request!) and genuinely cares about his food. Prices also very reasonable. We had the chicken vindaloo, palek paneer and naan, so delicious!
